luckily we selected this place to dine out, and it was beginning of the onam celebrations!

and it was lovely. the place is on the second floor of the of the fern, and on the outskirts of ahmedabad.

the staff was quite courteous and friendly and we later ended up having chat with the staff on various interesting topics.

you get served free banana wafers and a nice little sweet, along with chaach and papad at entry. gosh, they are lovely themselves and i felt happy before i had even ordered anything.

i really wanted to have chicken and so we ordered the non veg thali. and it was fantastic! really loved rhe rice, the thecha

i just love neer dosa and the varity of pickle and papadam over here, my alltime favourite dine-in restaurant...

the dining experience was so awesome. thank y’all especially the kind hearted staff. looking forward to visit more to eat delicious food ♥️

we took the non veg buffet. the food is excellent especially the fish curry in thali. everything from welcome drink, soup and starters taste really good. the whole staff is very courteous and the dining arrangements are good. love the place and will definitely visit again.

just back from a six days interesting busy n memorable trip from ahmedabad and bhavnagar the calm cities of gujrat - of great culture, variety of regional cuisine and rich yet simple humble n down to earth community. there is so much to write about from our lovely experiences.

first experience we had of a very comfortable stay at the fern #an #ecotel #hotel on sg highway with great location and nice view of the city n highway from our spacious room. hotel is following all #covidprotocals of sanitizing luggage to screening and all staff n guests were seen wearing masks n maintaining distance. rooms and food everything had hygiene standards maintained to ensure guests safety. rooms and baths had all amenities in place and staff were attentive.

our lunch and dinner both were very meticulously curated by executive chef vijay kumar and ensured that we try the best of their specialities.

lunch started with a nice n hot khowsuey soup a perfect blend of flavors followed by chefs unique thai chicken tikka which came out as amazingly delicious, cheese cigar roll were crisp cover with melted cheese served with creamy dip and we couldn't resist a second helping. hara bhara cheese kebab were crisp but little bland but tasted fine with dips. tanzy yummy nachos were great in taste n presentation n my all time favorite caesar salad was perfect.

with such amazing starters and soup one is already full so mains were not needed but had to taste a spoonful of each dish of their signature thali which looked awesome n had

• baby naan, lachha paratha, tandoori roti

to enjoy the thali fully you should only go for thali n no other starters..to do full justice to it.

dessert of banana dosa with honey, moong dal halwa dumplings with paruppu payasam was a feast to d eyes n looked n tasted great.

had italian dinner of crispy ravioli and lassagne which were both a delight and ended on a sweet note with
chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream.

under the leadership of a seasoned professional like gm rakesh dogra team was all performing well with smooth operations. would love to visit again to try more of their specialities.

if your looking for some awesome seafood when in ahmedabad you can definitely binge into dravida. the staff is quite friendly and polite. ritika was very good at her hospitality and overall a very good and pleasant experience.

dravida serves thalis only on the weekends (or for 10+ people on demand on other days). the thalis are excellent value for money, especially considering the quality of the food served. the limited menu works well, particularly the vegetarian stew which outshone even the mutton. our servers for the day, chandru and his colleagues were polite par excellence and took great care of our meal. highly recommended for south indian food that isn't just dosa and sambhar.
