love this place! great food,serviceand prices. the negative comments must be from their competitors. we have never been disappointed here. best queso in the austin metro area.

dos salsas offers consistently greatserviceand food. yes, the parking can be strange but the staff does a good job of taking care of you. i've tried the majority of items on the menu and enjoyed them all. this is a definite 'must visit' if you are in the georgetown area.

good food, terrible service. wednesday evening was their last chance to wow us. arrived before the crowd, seated on the patio, ordered mojitos. came back with none, they were out of mint. ordered queso at the same time. 3 more tables seated, drink orders taken, food orders taken, we were still waiting on our queso and to have our order taken. 15 minutes later, got up and left without having our order taken or our queso delivered.
the food is good, not stand out, the salsa is nothing to write home about, but with continual badservicewe will not be returning.

had better tv dinner's.servicewas fast and friendly but the food was unbelievably horrible.

in the past 6 to 8 months, on multiple occasions we have complained to the manager mr.elias that theservicehas been slipping away and he has done nothing to address or fix issues, as much as we enjoyed visiting the restaurant due to its location, being close to our home, at the same time we have resisted from dining in because theservicetruly has been lot lower than our expectations, and our expectations are not as high.
since the manager failed to address, we decided to contact cedar park location and verbally addressed our unhappiness & tried to convey, our experiences, because the manager would not deliver our grievances to the owner.
on march 9th 2017 we had a phone conversation with the cedar park mgr. around 2pm, on same evening we went to dine in at georgetown location and we sat at the outside patio, we were served chips & salsa, once that ran out, we were trying to seek attention of our waiter, who did not pay much attention to began with, someone else served us the chips, and when our waiter came to our table we said could you please serve us more chips, our bowl has been empty a while, he said " i didn't know you guys were that hungry" i was shocked by his statement in the same context he blurted several "expletive" cuss words, at that point our son got up and went in to seek managers attention, while all this was going on , we felt threatened and uncomfortable" because the waiter decided to flip a finger on top of all the undue comments he made to us, walked by our table with his chest floundering and this quickly became a volatile situation and the manager upon several requests refused to remove mr. rafael, off the floor, because he said you guys have complained about me also to other location manager, at that time our food had  also arrived and we decided to only pay for our drinks and immediately walked out" after he brought our check to us. to our understanding, all this occurred because the manager allowed this behavior to occur and he retaliated against our complaint in a much more unprofessional and poor manner, this gentleman has no business being a manager and i would hate this to happen to another family because the establishment does nothing about reviews that immediately needs attention. nobody , i mean nobody, should be badly humiliated, insulted, and treated with such ignorance, the manager is absolutely not only incompetent, but on occasions he pretends he does not understand english language, its very disturbing as to what happened to our family and not even a single apology has risen from the establishment.
we have received excellentserviceon continuous occasions from mariachis, la play, sierras, el monumento, el charritos , but nothing this scary happened , what took place at dos salsa georgetown texas.

big restaurant, can accommodate large groups. this place is always busy so plan accordingly. the food was good, but nothing to rave about. their salsa andservicewere average. best things about this place.....queso and the drink menu.

good tex-mex and authentic mexican. gets pretty crowded and parking is terrible if you don't get there early. food is made to order much to my surprise.servicecan be dicey sometimes.

i have no idea why this place had such good ratings. the food is not good. i ordered green enchiladas and i was not impressed. my boyfriend ordered a burger, took two bites and couldn't bring himself to eat anymore. theservicewas bad at first. we got seated and no one bothered to approach our table and ask what we wanted to drink . i made eye contact with on of the waitresses and instead of coming over to help she quickly turned away and ignored me. i finally waved a waiter down who then called our waitress. after thatservicewas good.

awesome. had my grandson's 16th birthday here. we loved the brisket tacos, tamales, tortilla soup, and much more, including queso. first time eating here, but really worth it. prices are reasonable, andserviceis great. loved the salsa.

wonderfulserviceand plenty of food. i'm glad i didn't read the negative reviews first or i might not have tried dos salsas today. we showed up at noon and the parking lot was full. i was getting antsy, afraid we would end up having a long wait. i was wrong. we were seated immediately. theservicewas amazing...our server was right on top of things. i believe his name was geraldo. within 15 minutes of ordering, our food arrived at the table. i order the fish salad, thinking i would eat light. the plate was huge and the piece of fish was bigger than my hand. my husband ordered the diablo shrimp. i took a bite. what a delicious smoky flavor! wow! our tea glasses and chips/salsa were never empty. we were very impressed and agreed we would return.

bland food, poor service, very loud. question: why is the parking lot so full?

this establishment has a lot to be desired. we have given it three chances and it is out of our lineup. when you can say taco bell or taco del sol food is upscale this is not a place you want to spend your sit down meal with family and friends.

while the food appears to be tex-mex it is tasteless, greasy and unappealing after the first bite. the building is nice, inviting and clean appearing but when you walk in it is loud and not fiesta load.serviceis mediocre. while the food came to the table timely, we felt ignored once we sat down until they came to pick up the check. we had to ask several times to order, for refills on our drinks, to get our check and to have them pick it up and return for us to finish our transaction. at this point i was ready to leave running.

the biggest surprise of the evening was the waitress finally came by to ask about our meal and appeared pleasantly concerned why the food was only picked on and asked if we like it. she was receptive to our concerns and took one meal off our ticket. however a manager never came by which was interesting but i was exhausted at this point with the food and the service.

so why is the parking lot full? i am not sure because the parking is overflowing into nearby other businesses. it must have some appeal but this is not authentic mexican cuisine it wants to be but it has a lot to be desire. we will not be returning as there are many other mexican restaurants in the neighborhood and if i am hard up for mexican food i will be happy to bypass dos salsas for taco bell or taco del sol.

good food. i have eaten here twice now and both times the food was good, theserviceexcellent and i love the open roominess of the restaurant. the price seems a little high, but it seems like everyone is going up on the price of food.

have eaten here about 12 times now. inconsistent food and service.servicecan sometimes be so bad, we chose to only have one drink and leave to eat elsewhere. at times food is very good, but lately we have been disappointed. place needs a good cleaning. will no longer go back.

this place has really great food but parking is a major pain, and it is usually packed. i recommend getting there early for lunch, or just be willing to wait for a table. the good news isserviceis usually very fast. some of my favs are the chicken tostadas on the lunch special ( lunch specials are cheap and are found on the back of the bar menu on your table) they come with soup or salad and are all tasty. i also love the grilled fish tacos. they are stuffed with lots of fish, and have an awesome chipotle ranch sauce. the menu has lots of choices and nothing i've ever had has disappointed
