dos salsas

in the past 6 to 8 months, on multiple occasions we have complained to themanagermr.elias that the service has been slipping away and he has done nothing to address or fix issues, as much as we enjoyed visiting the restaurant due to its location, being close to our home, at the same time we have resisted from dining in because the service truly has been lot lower than our expectations, and our expectations are not as high.
since themanagerfailed to address, we decided to contact cedar park location and verbally addressed our unhappiness & tried to convey, our experiences, because themanagerwould not deliver our grievances to the owner.
on march 9th 2017 we had a phone conversation with the cedar park mgr. around 2pm, on same evening we went to dine in at georgetown location and we sat at the outside patio, we were served chips & salsa, once that ran out, we were trying to seek attention of our waiter, who did not pay much attention to began with, someone else served us the chips, and when our waiter came to our table we said could you please serve us more chips, our bowl has been empty a while, he said " i didn't know you guys were that hungry" i was shocked by his statement in the same context he blurted several "expletive" cuss words, at that point our son got up and went in to seek managers attention, while all this was going on , we felt threatened and uncomfortable" because the waiter decided to flip a finger on top of all the undue comments he made to us, walked by our table with his chest floundering and this quickly became a volatile situation and themanagerupon several requests refused to remove mr. rafael, off the floor, because he said you guys have complained about me also to other location manager, at that time our food had  also arrived and we decided to only pay for our drinks and immediately walked out" after he brought our check to us. to our understanding, all this occurred because themanagerallowed this behavior to occur and he retaliated against our complaint in a much more unprofessional and poor manner, this gentleman has no business being amanagerand i would hate this to happen to another family because the establishment does nothing about reviews that immediately needs attention. nobody , i mean nobody, should be badly humiliated, insulted, and treated with such ignorance, themanageris absolutely not only incompetent, but on occasions he pretends he does not understand english language, its very disturbing as to what happened to our family and not even a single apology has risen from the establishment.
we have received excellent service on continuous occasions from mariachis, la play, sierras, el monumento, el charritos , but nothing this scary happened , what took place at dos salsa georgetown texas.

bad service. ignored by the workers andmanagerabout my order being wrong then lied too by the owner will never go back. if they treat there customers that way how do they treat the food they prepare ?

bland food, poor service, very loud. question: why is the parking lot so full?

this establishment has a lot to be desired. we have given it three chances and it is out of our lineup. when you can say taco bell or taco del sol food is upscale this is not a place you want to spend your sit down meal with family and friends.

while the food appears to be tex-mex it is tasteless, greasy and unappealing after the first bite. the building is nice, inviting and clean appearing but when you walk in it is loud and not fiesta load. service is mediocre. while the food came to the table timely, we felt ignored once we sat down until they came to pick up the check. we had to ask several times to order, for refills on our drinks, to get our check and to have them pick it up and return for us to finish our transaction. at this point i was ready to leave running.

the biggest surprise of the evening was the waitress finally came by to ask about our meal and appeared pleasantly concerned why the food was only picked on and asked if we like it. she was receptive to our concerns and took one meal off our ticket. however amanagernever came by which was interesting but i was exhausted at this point with the food and the service.

so why is the parking lot full? i am not sure because the parking is overflowing into nearby other businesses. it must have some appeal but this is not authentic mexican cuisine it wants to be but it has a lot to be desire. we will not be returning as there are many other mexican restaurants in the neighborhood and if i am hard up for mexican food i will be happy to bypass dos salsas for taco bell or taco del sol.

bad experience. i went to lunch at dos salsas today for the first time since i'm new to georgetown. i was by myself, and i ordered the chicken enchiladas with verde sauce. there was a large table directly behind me that had been seated shortly before i arrived. when the waitress brought out what should have been my lunch, she took it to the large table and asked who ordered the chicken enchiladas. one woman raised her hand, and the food was sat down in front of her. i noticed one of the other waiters telling the waitress that the food should have been delivered to my table. after about 10 minutes, the woman at the large table returned the food since it was probably getting cold and she wanted to wait until the rest of her party received their order. the waitress took the plate into the kitchen and then immediately came back out and brought the plate to my table with a big smile. i told her that i was pretty sure that this was the same plate that had been mistakenly delivered to the large table, and that i was not going to accept it. (if my lunch had been part of the larger order, wouldn't all of their food be coming out at the same time?). i then walked into the main restaurant and asked to speak to a manager. themanagertold me that he had heard about what had happened, and that the kitchen was "remaking" my food. thanks, but no thanks. i walked out, and will never return there! disgusting!
