dos salsas

good food, terrible service. wednesday evening was their last chance to wow us. arrived before the crowd, seated on the patio, ordered mojitos. came back with none, they were out of mint. ordered queso at the same time. 3 more tables seated, drink orders taken,foodorders taken, we were still waiting on our queso and to have our order taken. 15 minutes later, got up and left without having our order taken or our queso delivered.
thefoodis good, not stand out, the salsa is nothing to write home about, but with continual bad service we will not be returning.

yet another tv screen?.foodis great, as are the margaritas, but i could sure do without the tv screens that have taken over both here and at other restaurants. if we want to watch tv, we could stay at home, and all it does is add to the noise level, which makes me want to leave sooner and which may be what they're trying to accomplish.

dos salsas is a community icon. thefoodis consistently good and what you would expect from genuine tex mex establishment.

dos margaritas!. i'll make this review short (unlike my visits to this fine establishment!)
dos salsa's is the place all the servers from the square go after a shift. why? because the friendly bar staff, fantastic atmosphere, and excellentfood(which won't kill your day's tips) is just right for that high energy, "please let me relax" type feeling you have after a long shift.
for regular diners, the back rooms by the bar are a great place to entertain yourself or a large party.
as a matter of fact, i've just made myself very hungry, and there's nothing like an enchalada plate and a great margarita to ease the boredom of a lazy afternoon!

ok, long-time lover of tex-mex... i was pleasantly surprised.  very clean, open, lively place, attentive waiters though it was busy on a sunday night, and thefoodwas comfort tex-mex.  the queso and salsa were very good, better than average.  all-in-all a pleasant surprise.

honestly absolutely disgusting, the bathrooms had crap sprayed all over, to be completely honest i was so surprised to see the dramatic increase in their foodprices, 2 crispy taco plate $15, the quality of thefoodhas dropped so significantly, we payed $120 for 4 people to eat, and left at least 1/2 of our plate unfinished. this is a restaurant that was completely unaffected by covid but chose to gouge everyone any way, thefoodquality sucked the bathrooms and general cleanliness of the restaurant was horrid, and they went from a our favorite mexican restaurant to one we will never visit again, i wish you could have seen the pics my wife took of the bathroom. the management should be ashamed , and i cant even begin to explain how terrible the experience was, try marisol's, or mas fajitas, or any other restaurant that actually cares about the quality of theirfoodand the cleanliness of the environment , but this was disgusting

in the past 6 to 8 months, on multiple occasions we have complained to the manager mr.elias that the service has been slipping away and he has done nothing to address or fix issues, as much as we enjoyed visiting the restaurant due to its location, being close to our home, at the same time we have resisted from dining in because the service truly has been lot lower than our expectations, and our expectations are not as high.
since the manager failed to address, we decided to contact cedar park location and verbally addressed our unhappiness & tried to convey, our experiences, because the manager would not deliver our grievances to the owner.
on march 9th 2017 we had a phone conversation with the cedar park mgr. around 2pm, on same evening we went to dine in at georgetown location and we sat at the outside patio, we were served chips & salsa, once that ran out, we were trying to seek attention of our waiter, who did not pay much attention to began with, someone else served us the chips, and when our waiter came to our table we said could you please serve us more chips, our bowl has been empty a while, he said " i didn't know you guys were that hungry" i was shocked by his statement in the same context he blurted several "expletive" cuss words, at that point our son got up and went in to seek managers attention, while all this was going on , we felt threatened and uncomfortable" because the waiter decided to flip a finger on top of all the undue comments he made to us, walked by our table with his chest floundering and this quickly became a volatile situation and the manager upon several requests refused to remove mr. rafael, off the floor, because he said you guys have complained about me also to other location manager, at that time ourfoodhad  also arrived and we decided to only pay for our drinks and immediately walked out" after he brought our check to us. to our understanding, all this occurred because the manager allowed this behavior to occur and he retaliated against our complaint in a much more unprofessional and poor manner, this gentleman has no business being a manager and i would hate this to happen to another family because the establishment does nothing about reviews that immediately needs attention. nobody , i mean nobody, should be badly humiliated, insulted, and treated with such ignorance, the manager is absolutely not only incompetent, but on occasions he pretends he does not understand english language, its very disturbing as to what happened to our family and not even a single apology has risen from the establishment.
we have received excellent service on continuous occasions from mariachis, la play, sierras, el monumento, el charritos , but nothing this scary happened , what took place at dos salsa georgetown texas.

big restaurant, can accommodate large groups. this place is always busy so plan accordingly. thefoodwas good, but nothing to rave about. their salsa and service were average. best things about this place.....queso and the drink menu.

good tex-mex and authentic mexican. gets pretty crowded and parking is terrible if you don't get there early. foodis made to order much to my surprise. service can be dicey sometimes.

i have no idea why this place had such good ratings. thefoodis not good. i ordered green enchiladas and i was not impressed. my boyfriend ordered a burger, took two bites and couldn't bring himself to eat anymore. the service was bad at first. we got seated and no one bothered to approach our table and ask what we wanted to drink . i made eye contact with on of the waitresses and instead of coming over to help she quickly turned away and ignored me. i finally waved a waiter down who then called our waitress. after that service was good.

bad service. ignored by the workers and manager about my order being wrong then lied too by the owner will never go back. if they treat there customers that way how do they treat thefoodthey prepare ?

it's the best mexicanfoodin the austin area in my opinion! it's my favorite! both locations- in georgetown & cedar park are equally awesome! great food, fun atmosphere & we've always had great service! always treated the best! it's hard to find a parking space but, that's because the place is so awesome! the brisket burrito with chipotle sauce is my favorite! check it out!

wonderful service and plenty of food. i'm glad i didn't read the negative reviews first or i might not have tried dos salsas today. we showed up at noon and the parking lot was full. i was getting antsy, afraid we would end up having a long wait. i was wrong. we were seated immediately. the service was amazing...our server was right on top of things. i believe his name was geraldo. within 15 minutes of ordering, ourfoodarrived at the table. i order the fish salad, thinking i would eat light. the plate was huge and the piece of fish was bigger than my hand. my husband ordered the diablo shrimp. i took a bite. what a delicious smoky flavor! wow! our tea glasses and chips/salsa were never empty. we were very impressed and agreed we would return.
