i absolutely love the ambience, it's super peaceful and calming. the food was amazing and i love the abundance of vegetarian and vegan options! the vegan carrot cake was to die for! my friend and i sat outside and there was no waiter standing outside on standby… so it took forever to order food and drink and even longer to wait for it to be served. luckily we had a lot to catch up on, but otherwise service is a major thing to improve on. hoping to come back with better service soon

i needed a quick espresso fix and a quick bite to eat before a meeting and stumbled upon this shopping centre purely by chance.
the doppio sign caught my eye, and historical they do not disappoint
what a beautiful venue, with a wrap around type patio for fair weather and a well lit fresh and big inside area.
the staff are friendly and always on-hand
the coffee was great and i opted for a bacon cheddar and tomato omelette which was delivered with a smile and tasted great
now i know where you are, i will be back

the venue is really nice and they are "load shedding" friendly ?.

unfortunately the service was not so good as the waiter got the order wrong in more than one way.

we were also disappointed with the bland taste of the veggie burgers.

don't think we will be going back there soon.......?

meal presentation is flawless.... tasted as good as it looked! service was exceptional!!!
being the self - confessed alcoholic that i am, i was a little disappointed that only non-alcoholic drinks on offer.... however, you are welcomed to bring in a bottle of your own. which i will so be doing on my next visit....soon!

been here twice, loved the vibe and the staff is friendly, the visit was over lunch (the service was a bit better than at breakfast)

the first time i visited was lunch and it was a wow experience. the gnocchi and chicken curry was soooo yum, will be back to try more dishes.

breakfast was good, but a bit average (this was a few weeks later)

will be back

whilst the ambiance leaves a bitter taste for my better half, i, emphasis on i, still think the food is good with a whole range of vegetarian options for us vegetarian folk! the patatas braves is really good!!!

eaten here a couple of times and only had pizza, first time i had a pazzo which is bacon, chorizo, ham and onion, a bit salty, the last time i had a quattro and it was delicious, can't go wrong with a four seasons,i am a little bit boring when it comes to what should be on a pizza,anyway a very satisfying size just enough. the restaurant and the whole complex pumps. had a great time good atmosphere. only complaint is service is slow

the food was extremely disappointing. i ordered the chicken kebab skewer and veg. my chicken kebab slipped into the oil pan and drowned - missed the peri peri sauce on the way in , but managed to grab the veg into it's oily grave. to put it bluntly it was a fatty , oily dish of food- my cholesterol levels are through the roof and i'm broke . (extremely expensive ...don't expect to leave full) ?

great service, great food ! we have been to this branch quite a few times and the quality is always consistent. staff are friendly and service is relatively quick considering they are always busy.

almost an hour wait for breakfast (admittedly a large table). ordered the doppio breakfast. bacon was dry and overcooked (not crispy), toast was not correct (sourdough instead of brown), mushrooms were removed (rosti was ordered as an extra, but they had that replace the mushrooms). rosti was singular, small and disappointing. halloumi was also overcooked. the cappuccino with cream was pretty good.

we have been to doppio zero twice now. the service is a little slow, and the wait for your food can be quite long, but the food is definitely worth the wait. even better than the mains, is doppio zero's mouth watering selection of cakes, pies and deserts. we will be back!

great location, lovely vibe and atmosphere. doppio zero is very consistent and reliable. i loved this particular one. the staff was super friendly and efficient.

baie slegte diens. ek het 20 min gesit toe self n kelner gaan soek om bestelling te plaas vir iets om te drink. toe sy dit bring se sy sy kom nou my kos bestelling neem, vat net n rekening vir n ander tafel. 30 min later was sy nog nie terug nie.

we live around the corner and have tried to eat here 4 or 5 times now. given it’s great location we hope each time that things have improved. however after this final visit i am sad to report that we are let down yet again. disgusting service, milky coffee (luke warm and arrives after 20minutes). once you have place a simple breakfast order expect to wait between 30 and 60min for the food to make it’s way to your table. and when it does is is cold, bland and inevitably the eggs are rock hard.
this is not a one off experience, but is rather then norm. we will never return here and will discourage everyone from supporting this establishment. this restaurant does not deserve the amazing site that it occupies.
