although a little bit pricey, doppio zero has some of the best pasta dishes i've ever had. the restaurant and patio is a treat to visit on a calm summer day evening.

your day manager needs raise,first of all she went out of her way to accommodate my wife and sister in law and make a sad memorial dinner a pleasant experience,your kitchen staff however got the orders wrong,both drinks and the food.mojito given was a virgin drink and the margarita had no lime juice in.only to be told afterwards that they ran out of limes .steak was extremely rare when medium rare was requested,vegan power salad had no beetroot and waiter was apathetic about the errors.im not sure what your day managers name is but if all staff was trained as well as her then the evening would have been more memorable

awesome... all the way from service to food. the breakfast hash is nice 'n spicy... salmon rosti worth an award. and kelvin 2, pleasantly surprised us with a+ service... good to know that it still exists. will highly recommend doppio at southdowns.

spice up your life with a doppio breakfast taco. it's a light and refreshing meal, just enough to fill you up and not feel bloated. my plate was policed!

love it love it love it best food , best service , great value for money . big satisfactory serving, delicious hot chocolate and tasty breakfast and lunch manue . you will leave happy and come back for more

first time trying doppio, i decided to come here on a rainy morning, have some nutella french toast, coffee and read my book. it’s nice and peaceful, service is great, my french toast was alright, i didn’t find it very filling and a tad bit too sweet, i do think a better bread could be used as well but a nice little treat nonetheless. will definitely be back to try out some other goodies.

this my favorite chain restaurant so far! freshly warmed, soft bread was served as a taster and it was absolutely amazing. had the falafel wrap for the first time and it was filling but still light.

been going to doppio for a very long time and the service is steadily declining. waitstaff service is very rude and impromt. complimentary bread is no longer served or only served to select diners which is rather unfair. this is a supposed to be a premium restaurant. it has premium priced food but unfortunately not premium service.

the usual seasonal menu, including great vegan and vegetarian options. attentive manager and staff make it a pleasant experience. food was great, added bonus that they have almond milk😁

we came to this branch of doppio zero to have dinner after a fun day at the beach.
when we arrived we were promptly ushered to our table by our waitron amanda. we sat down and we ordered our drinks which were served in a prompt and professional manner. she made us feel at home, she checked on us often throughout our dining.
what made amanda the star of our evening was when my 7 year old son vomited from a long day of activities at the beach.
she quickly assembled a cleaning team and the spot where we were seated was cleaned and sorted in a very short time. she really made our dining experience a 5-star experience.

we have been to doppio zero twice during our stay here in umhlanga and i cannot rave enough about the food, the ambiance and especially the service. the service just made our experience even better. keep up the good things that make this such a great dining experience. our kids were treated so nicely and not once did they ask for a play area. it’s just all so perfect.

my sisters and i always go for half price cocktails. the amazing food brings us back everytime. fresh and full of flavour. staff are super friendly and fast aswell. very neat and tidy restaurant. definitely a regular place i visit.

wasn’t great. waitrons seemed resentful and surly. management young, arrogant, cavalier and businesslike. atmosphere frenzied and loud (in the kitchen/wash up area). food, average and expensive. won’t be back.

i am a chicken and mayo aficionado. this one rates quite high up there with the best.. i ordered low gi bread, but didn’t like the smell of it when i got it (personal preferences) and when i asked if they could change it, the manager got it done in minutes.

top service. good food. definitely going back to doppio umhlanga.
