doppio zero branch in south downs is not good at all. they can actually just close down and open something better in that space. the branch in cradlestone mall is excellent! staff is always friendly and food is fantastic.

great service and awesome setting for a family get together if seated outside on a warm summers day. unfortunately the food was shocking. the signature seafood pasta was beyond fishy and grit made it unpleasant to eat.

food is good and service is attentive. nothing i would really rave home about, but in saying that, i have always had consistently good meals here. the variety of options on the menu is great and they are always adding new items. if you're in the area, come and try it.

great atmosphere and food. the portions were all really large and very good. it was a busy evening and the staff seemed a little stressed but it was still a lovely meal and setting.

a lovely place to go to for a relaxed meal and good service. they have amazing carrot cake and the chicken mayo tramazinni is so big that one can eat from it twice. my girlfriend is fond of doppio zero because of their wide variety of vegetarian and vegan options - and the bakery. although they're slightly pricey, the food, service and smoking section (which isn't common in the surrounding area) makes it worthwhile.

have been frequenting doppio zero over the last two years. great desert menu and delicious coffee. freshly baked breads and cakes. very nice!

family favourite seeing that it is so close to our home and the food is so good. the rump and rocket salad is definitely a winner, but so too are all the pizzas. coffees are always excellent and the bakery has delicious bread and freshly baked pies that you can grab on your way out and take home.

love love love the desserts! everything under their dessert menu as well as their dessert bar is amazing. the macaroons are really delicious (they are r10 each). my overall experience at doppio zero was really enjoyable and i would definitely go back :)

nice coffee and lunch menu. oven pizzas with fresh ingredients. nice seating inside amd outside. friendly and helpful service. you can go and enjoy

we went to doppio once again. this is a place we have visited multiple times. the food is consistently good and the service friendly and prompt.

the branzino was cooked perfectly with nice crispy skin. the squid ink pasta was very good and the calzone was very flavorful.  dessert, the cajoles were terrific and the lemon cake, wow!

this is a terrific place and would highly recommend it to anyone.

great staff, and a nice little sitting area outside. the staff and manager were kind enough to let us sit outside with our labrador puppy and even filled up his water bowl.. which scored big points for us.

great banting options for those following the noakes diet.. and the desert selection is also great. happy to have them just down the road from us...

my campus is close to doppio zero - we sometimes have lunch there and it's the most cozy and fun atmospheric place. also has the best cappuccino in town for early mornings. would highly recommend it to people.

visited doppio zero for a nice friday lunch. restaurant was busy and could almost be classified as overcrowded but with nice ambiance. service was good and management attentive to customers needs. unfortuanitly the quality of the dishes was very poor. main course arriving while still busy with starters. this resulted in dried out steaks and soggy fish eventually being served as if this was the norm. reported to management and then decided to call it a day and left.

really horrible experience. popped in for a lunch with the kids. we ordered drinks and waited 20 mins for wine. we then ordered food and waited another hour for a burger and hallumi & calamari. kept complaining and every manager that came said they would be back but never returned. food eventually came and had onion on burger after we asked no onion. when we asked for the bill the waitress said the gm had discounted our bill completely. we were rather annoyed as we weren't there for a free meal. and would have been more satisfied had the gm just come out the kitchen and spoken to us. not going back in hurry. bart rouan

slow service and okay food. went as a family of 8. waited a better part of an hour for our meals. the food was tasteless (burger with a tiny sprig of brie and avo), over cooked and dry. beef ravioli was underdone. this doppio needs some pointers from its rosebank sister. it's a beautifully designed space but also impossible for a wheelchair to get through the restaurant.
