i stayed at the diamond hotel during my first trip to benaras. over the 4-day stay, i was blown away with every aspect of the place! it's got a superb location so it's easy to get to the local hotspots. every member of the staff is extremely polite and helpful and committed to a quick turnaround on service requests. clearly the management takes training very seriously. it was the new year week so theplacewas bustling with activity and had a very vibrant atmosphere. i had a few meals at the in-house restaurant which were very good! the chef cooks up a pretty mean english breakfast at the live counter! i really liked the sandwiches, too. if you're lucky, you may even bump into the owners, who are incredibly warm, kind and leave no stone unturned in ensuring you have the best experience. all in all, very impressive!
