great service. actually, superb service. delightful cozy restaurant. would love to say i would be happy to go there again, but the food lets the place down. overcooked fish. really tough lamb chunks in the roganjosh . really tough
duck chunks in the duck curry. overall,
sadly, an unhappy dining experience.

amazing ambiance i would say and very warm staff. food was good.... ordered prawn and lamb for entree - they were fine enough. dal makhani wasnt up to the mark. butter naan were awesome. specially loved plenty of papadums and condiments being served during wait time. aam chatni is too good!

we got the hara banquet. which was good value for money. the food was full of flavour and it has a spicy kick that was jammed with flavour. its not too spicy though so you can take your spice sensitive friends hete too. the garlic naan was soft and actually tasted of garlic! the waiters are attentive. we did have to wait for our reserved table for 10 minutes but we were treated with complementary wine and papadams while we waited. i really liked this place, i would definitely go again.

delhi 'o' delhi is a fine dining indian restaurant and you can tell immediately from its sleek decor and smartly dressed waiters that this place is not "cheap eat". we didn't have a booking so was just trying our luck to see if they have a table - it was only 6.30pm and the place was pretty packed.

specialising in north, central and south indian dishes delhi 'o' delhi is a cut above the regular. a hatted restaurant with a greater emphasis on presentation, it's cuisine, unlike the many curry houses that tone down the flavours for australian palates, is unapologetically authentic. we found the dal makhani, a slow-cooked black lentil stew with ginger, and the kozi pudina, free-range chicken stew, cooked with mint and lemongrass, were excellent, tasty dishes. the chutney beef, braised with mint, chillies and ginger, was one of the hottest dishes i've had in a long time. the menu describes it as 'not for the faint-hearted' and they weren't kidding. it really took a lot of yoghurt and a few parathas to finish it.

one of the few indian places we would visit again. good service, byo, delicious food. on the more expensive side but i think it justifies it when considering how it is much better than nearby competitors.

overpriced mediocre food. food is mediocre. coconut rice didn't taste like coconut and duck curry didnt taste like duck. a few pappadums were placed on our table without even asking if we would like them. dont assume they are complimentary. they cost $5. the bill came up to be $150 for 4 people! we used the entertainment book voucher but the staff didn't know how to apply it. discount voucher was put through incorrectly twice! won't be coming back.

not very impressed. have meant to try this place for ages and finally got around to it, due to many positive reviews. i found, personally, the flavour and spice was lacking. i thought it was going to be pumped up authentic indian cuisine but it was sort-of-pimped up (and really expensive) westernised indian-ish food. butter chicken was the standout (ok only), and the rest was “meh”. worst peshwari naan i’ve ever had - virtually no filling. oh, and they didn’t deliver the mango lassi i ordered and paid for. never again.

we had a group of 20 people ( under social distancing) for a birthday celebration for lunch today. i have to say i was blown away by the service, and food was the best meal i have eaten in an indian restaurant... from the 4 different starters to the 4 mains. the curries were so delicious. i would highly recommend the restaurant and would be going there again with friends very soon.

went here with a mate and had the butter chicken, goat and camel curries as well as the tandoori sharing plate(non vegetarian) plus rice, garic naan and pappadums and whilst it cost about 150 we enjoyed all dishes but the camel curry. it was our first time trying camel so i guess we didnt know what to expect. the butter chicken made it all worth while. def recommend a visit

great indian restaurant located in the hearts of newtown, the place is small but don't judge by its size. the server was nice, bassist us with the menu and recommend the popular dishes. the chicken pepper was the best dishes, it has an complex insane of flavour that goes well with the naan. (to be continued)

normally i'm not a fan of indian cuisine but this restaurant has changed my perception about their cuisine. the food were great, full of flavours and interesting mixes of spices and curries. i enjoyed eating those wonderful indian foods and definitely go back there again. the staff members are friendly and the place is very clean. i highly recommended this place to anyone who wants to explore the world of indian cuisine!

nothing less than 5 stars for javed khan and his dedicated team! we had catering done by delhi o delhi over a 4 day wedding and the service, food, staff and overall experience was nothing short of excellent.

each days menu was especially curated keeping in mind the event and venue. the desserts were the highlight of each event as they were innovative and beautifully presented.

we were extremely happy with everything and our guests left each event praising the food and with super full bellies!
thank you team delhi o delhi for making our event memorable.

what they serve isn't anywhere close to the authentic indian food. service sucks. when asked why we didn't get what we had ordered, we were told that it's because we are very busy... expensive and totally not worth it.
