exception service for the at home order. staff were attentive to our needs and the meal was realy great!!

well worth it's reputation. every course was well executed, innovative and delicious, and serving sizes were great. the cauliflower and the cod soup were standouts. wine list was also very excellent, as was the service and
ambience.

went as a couple, ordered their chef tasting menu. whilst the ingredients were all very fresh and locally sourced, the taste was mediocre. given what the hype cumulus inc has, i left feeling slightly disappointed and the food didn’t wow me as much as much as i thought it would.

we booked in advance and were sat on the counter bench which wasn’t my prefer seat as i wanted to have a more intimate setting. but the restaurant was full so we had no choice. nonetheless, watching the kitchen staff making our dishes was a cool experience.

such a buzzing place, always booked out. unfortunately we walked in without a booking in advance so we sat at the bar. but it was still fun since it was a vip seat to watch the live action in the kitchen. alcoholic drinks were strong which i liked😛

staffs did not forget about us and kept coming back to us to make sure we are okay. the portion of the food is what you would expect from a fancy restaurant like this- definitely no more than a kfc lunch box meal in portion but it surely tingled my taste buds with the new taste 😋

my rating: 4.5i used to enjoy visiting cumulus inc, it’s always packed with lively atmosphere. but its been such a long time since i last visited, i wasn’t sure if the quality of food was still the same. but that was all put to rest. food was yummy and i was happy to eat their famous madeleine.🔆location🔆cumulus inc is situated on flinders lane, between spring and exhibition street next to wilson’s car park. the café/restaurant has high ceiling with lots of natural lighting. 🔆service🔆customer service here are very efficient. we were given menu and water promptly and 🔆menu/price🔆smoked salmon croque monsieur, $21.00shakshouka – baked eggs with roasted peppers & shanklish, $23.00madeleine (lemon curd), $5.00 eachorange juice, $7.00🔆verdict🔆i thoroughly enjoyed the smoked salmon croquet monsieur. it was made really well. my friends shakshouka was full of flavour.we specifically came here to have their lemon curd madeleine. we ordered three, so we could have 1 each and share the third.

had the chef's selection, absolutely amazing.

everything was just heavenly. what an experience. delicious range of food. quick and very friendly service. would highly recommend it. we went there for an early lunch on sunday and just loved it.

cumulus inc is another good example of what a fine diner should be. good food. nice ambience. awesome vibe.

vegan friendly, and expensive....and romantic (but not when it turns too noisy).

could have chosen to knock-out 1 for not-so-friendly service but then it wasn't too bad. a smile or a few second banter would definitely add an extra charm to the whole experience.

i now know why after travelling past this establishment for awhile.. that burning question was always there.. why is it always full of people all day and night. well after waiting half an hour to get a table.. i now know why.. this place is just great.. food, service and ambiance. you walk away after having a great coffee and very friendly service and all this with a really good meal. love the buzz... well worth the wait for a great start to the day.

📌 highly recommend the oysters, gnocchi and the snapper
do not recommend the roast potatoes (too salty and oily, very average flavour)

the only thing i might suggest is to keep one or two classic brekki choices in the menu for those not fancy to try the latest ideas in the breakfast market.

the food was good but not amazing and they’re so overpriced. the service was quite slow. i like the minimalist decor but too many tables - the place feels very crammed. it’s not a particularly pleasant dining experience. for the price they charge, i would not go back.

a small casual restaurant serving delish food with good service.

although all the dishes were excellent and nicely presented, i'm going to highlight my favorites.

for entree the cold meats on the charcuterie platter were very tasty however my pick would be the tuna toast, also beating the stuffed zucchini flowers which were beautifully presented on the plate.

for mains the lamb shoulder was a standout. the large portion of lamb was moist and tender.

finally, dessert. it was difficult to choose a favourite but if i was to it would be the rumbaba. it is not a dessert often offered at most restaurants and at cumulus inc. it is made even better because it was served with a bottle of aged rum so that you can add as much as you wish according to your taste. as the rum is the feature ingredient in rumbaba we of course had to ensure that it had a strong rum flavour. the rumbaba was nicely complemented with custard.

we had a great dining experience and highly recommend cumulus inc.
