excellent service, food,beer. we went here after the jazz fest sunday night. the crab cake on fresh mixed greens was hearty with great spices and the seasonal brew was an unfiltered flavorful delight, highly welcome after the miller entrapment at the fest.

great food, bland beer. i had my first ever crawfish étouffée, and loved it. the gumbo soup was awesome. my wife had catfish tacos, with red beans and rice. they were amazing. however, the beers were bland and thin. worth a visit for the food.

really good greens with the duck! pass on the seafood cheesecake--bland, bland, & burnt. might have recovered a little if served with fresh, thick french bread to spread as pate instead of the thin, hard slices that come wiith. unexceptional beer, might as well go get an abita. isn't a brewhouse supposed to make something special? the sausage platter was good says tc

a short stroll on a hot day brought me to this brewhouse. the service was outstanding and i really wanted to love this place, but i'm left lacking. it doesn't scream new orleans and i find them struggling with an ambitious menu that is not quite there in flavor. i so wanted to love these crab-stuffed jumbo shrimp, they were so well presented but just not that great in taste. good concept with ratatouille inside, topped with beurre blanc and arugula, but it just did not come together well. phillip is a fabulous server. i didn't hate the place, but i can say that i won't be back. pictured is the current menu as of summer 2019.

average beers, average bar food. oyster shucker was talkative, helpful, and entertaining. live music was a nice touch and the reason we stopped in. bar and courtyard were pretty!

the beer and oysters were awesome. i ordered the crawfish etouffe and would definitely order it again.

we stopped in for a break mid afternoon. we ordered a beer and a mimosa and when the waiter brought those we ordered a baked brie app. the drinks were fine and we were in no hurry, but we had to flag the waiter chatting at the next table for another drink and he completely forgot the brie. too bad because i needed some food to go with my drinks. we left instead of staying for dinner.

great place to eat. a bit loud but the jaz band is excellent. we ate early so it hadn't gotten rowdy but i suspect the bar becomes a hot spot.

overpriced!! not at all what i wanted from my new orleans experience. i felt ripped off. on ordering the crawfish étouffée, i was told that there are alot of complaints about it and i should order something different. the beer was marginal and luke warm. very disappointed with this place.

i would not recommend this restaurant. we ordered the calamari appetizer & the blt & shrimp poboy for the meal. calamari was okay. the sandwiches & fries were very cold. had to send back the blt because it had been sitting out so long the bottom bread was soaking wet. the shrimp poboy was edible, but that's about it. the bottom line is we were served old food. service wasn't great either & after our food was messed up he started the annoying a**kissing. when he brought us our change he only gave us large bills-trying to get a bigger tip i'm sure. i am from lafayette & it burns me up when bad restaurants serve tourists crap food & call it cajun. avoid this place.

we called into crescent city brewhouse just after the mid day rush. it was so hot outside we really needed a beer. this brewery does some amazing ales. we tried the weiss beer, the ipa and the red stallion and all were super tasty. we were at the bar near the oyster shucking area and the skills of that shucker were amazing. although we didn’t dine we probably should have.

my wife and i visited this restaurant/bar for drinks and apps. the beer is brewed onsite and pretty good. you can get sampler beers to from 4 to 6 tastings. order the wings and they were awesome. grilled and flavorful. we definitely go back.

we had dinner here our only night in new orleans. our server howard was friendly and attentive. he made exceptions for our children and catered to their likes. my son eats a lot of mac and cheese, and although not on the menu, he was able to order it. the ipa was really good. i ate the shrimp and grits, cleaned my plate. my husband had the spare ribs, the meat fell off of the bone!

live jazz after 6pm. i was hoping for a place like this with good food and i can say that i feel we found the right spot.
