the best - good jazz- home brew beers - great service - and of course great food!!

good times. have gone here last two times we've been to new orleans.had good food and drinks both times..we would recommend it to friends.

great burger, great beer, good oysters. and good service - if you sit at the bar. table side is hit and miss.

the atmosphere is just right.

price is reasonable.

oyster shuckers are colorful characters and get real friendly if you tip them. you'll find out all sorts of locals tips about where else to go and not go if you get on their good side.

creative & intriguing menu. great way to start an evening.

very surprised by the food. the beers are just ok and they don't serve any but their own. the pilsner and the red were good and the others were not. the fried calamari app was awesome.

seafood cheesecake, crabcake were excellent, but the real star were the angry mussels - yum!!

horrible visit. i ordered the red fish the menu said it came with oysters on top but mine had either calamari or crawfish i couldn't tell as the fish was fire pepper hot and ruined my pallet after just one bite. i figured they were out of oysters due to the oil spill but before we left i noticed the table behind us had a dozen raw oysters. i wish they would have informed me.

enjoyed it so much, we visited twice during our week in nola. from the moment we entered, we like the atmosphere, featuring local art. we were greeted enthusiastically and seated immediately.

on the first visit, it was just two of us. our server was great - joking with us and setting a great tone for the meal. advice: order the brie appetizer, calories be damned! seriously.

jeff took the server's advice and got the brisket, which he really enjoyed. i got the pasta jambalaya - i am a bit picky, and requested a modification. this was no problem, and it was a great choice. yum!

we shared the sampler of their home brews, and both of us agreed that all were very good, even the styles we don't typically enjoy. both of us agreed that our favorite was the red stallion.

we were in town for a conference and had a large party dinner later in the week. we were so pleased with crescent city that we scheduled our group meal, for over 30 people with them. they handled large group very well - being very accomodating on splitting checks, even though it is not in their policy to do so. everyone enjoyed the meal as a group.

so, if you are in new orleans, what are you waiting for????

a pleasant surprise. i had expected regular old pub food but i was pleasantly surprised by the menu selection. the ahi tuna steak i ordered was simply delicious...my friend had the fried catfish which was also very tasty. atmosphere was fun and our waitsaff was friendly and efficient. i would definietely go back.

good food, though a bit pricey for a brewhouse. despite there being large groups of conventioners we had great service in a very busy restaurant. would consider taking my family when they visit.

two words: seafood cheesecake!

good location. great place to take family/friends from out of town. big menu with lots of local options. decent prices and a casual atmosphere. centrally located which makes walking from french quarter/cbd easy!

for new years' eve the service was good, beer was great. ordered tuna and shrimp combo, portion was very small for the price paid, needed much more flavor. overall experience was average.

3/5 star - didn't wow me but it wasn't bad. enjoyed our lunch our first day there. beer was good, food was good, and service was good. unfortunately nothing really jumped out at me, therefore my rating.

okay.... a bit pricey and in house brews are okay.. then again it is the french quarters
