delightful lunch. our meal at crescent city was very enjoyable. the service was impeccable and sean g did a fantastic job. i had the cochon delait poboy which had tasty, tender, succulent pork on soft french bread. my husband had the broiled flounder with corn and crawfish maque choux. he thought the fish was fresh, it was tasty and definitely a change from all the fried food that is available in new orleans. theatmospherewas really relaxing and it wasn't rowdy and noisy like other brewhouses.

well worth a visit.. if you like to blend excellent food with a great livelyatmosphereand attentive friendly service, this is the place for you. we had a wonderful dinner experience and enjoyed the live jazz band. i highly recommend the seafood cheesecake and the crispy fried duck. the dishes served to the other diners at my table looked equally pleasing. we will definitely return when next in new orleans.

as soon as you step off the plane, check yourself into crescent city brewhouse for a plate of some of the best louisiana buffalo wings with blue cheese sauce and celery and a serving of club (fried) oyster sandwich. cc brewhouse on decatur st, frenchquarter is a microbrewery and brews its own beer. also, theatmosphereis quite energetic - there is a house jazz band out the front and music spills onto the street.

big oysters!. we got our seafood fix at the crescent city brewhouse after stopping in there for a beer hours before. first off, the beer isn't that great, so i was hesitant to come back but my girlfriend insisted. theatmosphereand warm service was my deciding factor for doing so. i had a huge craving for oysters on the half shell and they did not disappoint. i ordered a dozen and after seeing how big they were, i wish i would have got 6. some were twice the size of my cracker. they were nice and fresh and went well with the ipa. we shared the redfish which was equally amazing. for our last dinner in the quarter that weekend, we finally got it right!

pretty good. my first time in nola and went into the restaurant to the right of the crescent city brewhouse. the service there was horrible so i got up and left and we to this place.

theatmospherewas really nice. the bartender was friendly and i went with their pilsner as a starter. i ended up ordering the gumbo and i was surprised how good it was. i was shocked by the size of the bread they gave me but i ate it all since it was so good.

if you find yourself on decatur and want a very casual place to relax after a day of pounding the streets, then give this place a shot.

pass the sauerkraut, bitte.. for many travelers, brewpubs typically mean good beer combined with good food, and that's exactly the case with crescent city brewhouse. for visitors hankering food other than cajun, creole, or southern, this is your restaurant. however, they do have plenty of new orleans style food. if you are hankering for pub food or german food, there are some great, comforting options. i ended up thoroughly enjoying a dinner sausage platter along with several tasty brews. while taste is obviously very subjective, i was not overly fond of the house red stallion beer. but the wheat (weizen) beer and oktoberfest beer were exceptional. theatmosphereis comfortable; there was live music; and my waiter was upbeat and attentive. all in all, a very nice dinner.

great burger, great beer, good oysters. and good service - if you sit at the bar. table side is hit and miss.

theatmosphereis just right.

price is reasonable.

oyster shuckers are colorful characters and get real friendly if you tip them. you'll find out all sorts of locals tips about where else to go and not go if you get on their good side.

great local food, music. theatmosphereof this place is a little casual, a little classy. with live jazz music by the bar, micro brews on tap, and many local favorites on the menu, this place is not to be missed on a trip through the crescent city.
