holy duck that's good!. we ate here tonight, i had the duck and omg amazing! i think this is in the top 5 best things i have ever eaten in my life! my husband had the gruber and loved it. our appetizer was the crab cake on top of the fried green tomato and man oh man, i could eat two of those as an entree! the food was amazing, live jazz and oh yea spectacular beer! red dragon beer is fantastic and pairs really well with the duck. we were too full for dessert but i would have loved to try that pecan pie! our server was really nice and attentive, she's the one who made the duck recommendation and said i would not be disappointed and she was right! best meal thus far in french quarter!

ate here on july 22nd. the server was really nice and helpful. the food was good, though not as good as the price would justify. we had po boys and ordered a crab cake as an appetizer, we didnt get the crab cake because the kitchen forgot it. server was contrite and we appreciate it was a mistake. nice cool dining area. i liked it but i wouldnt go back because the prices were too high for what they served.

so i ate here tonight and wow is all i can say. the brie is a must have! and the crab stuffed shrimp were literally heaven in a bite. anyone who had complaints about bad service all i can say is perry was perfection. filled drinks before we asked, gave honest recommendations, and didn't hover but was never too far away. i was here during saturday night rush so that made it even more amazing. i will be back. repeatedly an often!!!!

limited food menu. i was disappointed there were no grilled chicken options for the salads. my husband enjoyed his burger. decent place if you need a break from traditional nola fare. the breast were average, again, nothing to write home about.

this place is overpriced for the small portions you receive! very rude service, too. stay away from this place!

big oysters!. we got our seafood fix at the crescent city brewhouse after stopping in there for a beer hours before. first off, the beer isn't that great, so i was hesitant to come back but my girlfriend insisted. the atmosphere and warm service was my deciding factor for doing so. i had a huge craving for oysters on the half shell and they did not disappoint. i ordered a dozen and after seeing how big they were, i wish i would have got 6. some were twice the size of my cracker. they were nice and fresh and went well with the ipa. we shared the redfish which was equally amazing. for our last dinner in the quarter that weekend, we finally got it right!

sausages & beer!!. we both had the wolf's german sausage platter and they were excellent. sausages, sauerkraut, potatoes and a very tasty sauce. with our meal i had a black forest beer and the seasonal extra-hopped pale ale - yum! my wife enjoyed he red stallion vienna lager. the service was very prompt and attentive. they were boiling the beer wort and adding the specialty grains & hops when we were there. it is a very nice casual dining restaurant right on decatur street. i would like to go back when were return to new

one place that looked interesting was the crescent city brew house on decatur. after we found a 'buy one entrée, get one free' coupon at the hotel, the decision was made. this turned out to be another great decision. the restaurant reminded teresa of the blue bayou in chicago, maybe because that bar was patterned after a new orleans restaurant, lots of wood, and open. the menu was extensive and we decided to have the seafood.

this was an amazing place- everything we got was fantastic- stuffed shrimp, the duck, the fresh filet, the ribs... everyone walked away 100% pleased. i got the sampler beer platter- my only disappointment was that every one was very hoppy- needed at least one milder beer. trust me and go there!!!

first time eating here at ccb and i will definitely be back. the gumbo is to die for and the hamburgers are juicy perfection. the staff is friendly and not overly attentive. the atmosphere is relaxed. definitely 5 stars in my book!

first dining spot in new orleans. we wanted a quick dinner after our long drive from san antonio but wanted a quality experience at the same time. early sunday is relatively quiet in the quarter so my gf and i went for a stroll. we had picked up a 2 for 1 entree coupon at the hotel and decided to give it a try. i enjoyed their homebrewed beers. very creative. we tried the ahi tuna with sweet potato tempura. very tasty, though not amazing and i had the pasta jambalaya. a nice creative concept on the original. had nice flavor and not real heavy which is exactly what i was looking for on this evening. pleasant yes, blew my mind, not really. but the price point was right with the free entree which made up for the nearly 8 dollar a glass beers. nice, efficient service.

crappy customer service experience. i've been to this establishment numerous times, but yesterday's experience was a big turn off that won't have me back any time soon.

we stopped by to have a few beers and an appetizer at a time when the restaurant was dead, but after waiting ten minutes without having a server come by to greet us, we decided to leave and take our business elsewhere. the servers seemed to be too engaged in personal conversation. they even glanced over in our direction several times (aside from the several people seated at the bar, we were only the third occupied table in the whole restaurant), but none of them had the gumption to wait on us. they were clearly much more interested in their personal conversation. pretty stupid move for people who earn much of their pay based on tips.

good food. my friend got the crispy duck and it was like really, really good americanized chinese food in flavor (that's a compliment). i got the tuna orleans which was great, cooked perfectly and with a crispy fried sweet potato. we also got the oysters 3 ways for an appetizer, it was pretty good but my oysters where gritty and i had to spit out a lot of shell pieces.
