so i come here for the first time and it was my bday dinner. the service started off well with a soup which was the best out of everything we ate.we ordered of chicken wrapped in banana leaf chicken satay the starters took very very long to come. the starters were good but wasn't worth the wait. then we ordered for paneer kuthran and rava chicken punjabi aapam and kulcha. the aapam and kulcha were very good and soft. now getting to the curries. both the curries had similar flavour and different colour. the paneer had some capsicum. all this took so so long to arrive. i was very unhappy with the wait but otherwise a niceplacefor family dinners.

was holidaying in mangalore and heard that this is one of the best restaurants in the city so decided to give thisplacea try.it's located right in the heart of the city and we went here for lunch.the ambience was really comfortable and inviting but we were extremely disappointed with the service. it was way too slow and they took eons to serve us our food.the food was great though and we really enjoyed the tawa fried kingfish and the rawa fried silverfish.the chicken fried rice was decent.tasted the curd rice too which is a mangalorean specialty and i was amazed to find out how a simple dish like curd rice could taste so good.enjoyed my meal here and would definitely stop here if i visit this city again. look forward to quicker and better service though!

a niceplacefor a quite meal... slightly better maintained than sagar ratna downstairs. the food is almost the same though. the indian dishes are all fine, oriental not so great. they used to have this apple pie for dessert that was pretty good... that doesn't appear on the menu here though.

located at the heart of the city, a goodplacewhen you crave for variety of food at the same time. consistency in taste is something thisplacemisses, but quality is never compromised here. hakka noodles has marked aplacein my taste bud.

one line review: a greatplacefor a hearty meal.

imagine a typical foodie from delhi, arriving in the city of mangalore and seeing some good south indian dishes (of which i am not such a great fan) having his first meal, with mixed expectations. coral jazz is that goodplaceto hang out and have a few beers, but food taste is something not to boast that much of, though did a decent job. had prawns ghee roast, chicken tikka and fish curry. for all those going, would recommend poultry than seafood.

accidentally i bumped into thisplacetoday, but was slightly disappointed with the food. on the other hand i was highly impressed about the hospitality, staff and the ambience of the place. not knowing what to order we decided to stick with fish thali and some good old prawns, but the prawns were extremely high priced when compared to the quantity. the food was delivered after long and unfortunately most of the items in the plate were cold, including the majestic bangda. the rice quantity was less and we had to pay extra to get more rice. overall the flavours in the plate were also not great and for 200 plus taxes the fish thali did no justification. i am not very sure with other items in the menu, but whatever we ordered was highly priced and not up to the mark. i would not recommend it if you want to taste some authentic flavours.

delivered a wrong order instead of murg kalonjee tikka. definitely done intentionally thats very disappointing. this is the onlyplacei order from but i think i need to find a better restaurant. delivering something which i dint even order shows lack of respect to customers.

one of my favourite restaurants in mangalore. i have been dining at thisplacefrom a long time. the food i ordered today was a big disappointment. chicken in murgh rezala was overcooked. the subzi makhzadi seekh has absolutely no flavour and was the worst starter i ever had upto date.

mangalore has many beautiful places and many good hotels too. one among them is the ocean pearl. 💕 from ambience to food it's amazing and a really comfortableplacefor a stay as well. they have separate floors for non veg and vegetarian food. we tried the pomfret fish, kalmi kabab, mutton biriyani, ending our meal with some halwa 😍😍, i couldn't take pics of the other dishes since i couldn't resist eating 😋😋. among all of them, i loved the pomfret fish and halwa the most 🤤🤤. so when you visit mangalore and crave some good food, this is the one for you 😍😍

this is a wonderful fine-dining restaurant in mangalore with an array of cuisines to choose from. another hallmark of theplaceis regular food festivals, in which they offer delicacies from one style of cuisine and i must say they are something. happened to visit twice for these, one beong baloch food festival and another biryani festival. food was exceptional on borh the occasion.

the staff is courteous and well informed. ambience of theplaceattracts family outings and is often quite except maybe for rush hours.

a higly recommendedplaceto visit for a good lunch or dinner.

this is a must go toplacefor fish thali in mangalore. it’s named as meenugammath. it has squid gheeroast, prawns masala, dried shrimp chutney powder,pomfret curry and anjal fry all included in the thali. taste is awesome. the fish served here is fresh n cooked to perfection. must try in mangalore
