nasty. some relatives same in from tx and wanted to go here to eat. i haven't been in awhile so we said ok we will try it again. bad idea. the only good thing was our waitress, she was very nice, but the food was horrible. the appetizer of crab/crawfish spread, was sweet like it had sugar in it and the crawfish tails were like rubber. i ordered blackened chicken alfredo, and my husband got blackened shrimp, they was barely any sauce on the pasta and the chicken and shrimp were far from blackened and both overcooked.we asked for extra sauce and when it came out it was like water. my brother got another shrimp dish that was nasty also. don't waste yourtimeand money going to this restaurant.what happened to the old menu that used to be good. sad

good food, lackluster service and ambiance. went to eat here for the firsttimeon a sunday afternoon. i have always heard rave reviews about this place, so i was excited to to give it a try. it took the hostess stand several minutes to get menus and a table together for us, despite being slow. we had to sit on the bench and wait for several minutes. our drink orders were taken by the table busser, and we were told, "im not going to be serving you today, but i will be able to get your drink orders for you" and she brought out our drinks. it was very cold as a vent was blowing down on us, and we waited for quite a while before she returned to let us know shed be taking out dinner orders also. we ordered, and waited at least 15-20 minutes before our actual server showed up and said to us, "i'm *** and i will be your server, if you need anything just let me know". a few minutes later, he showed up with a couple of biscuits for us to share. our food was brought out, and shockingly a few minutes later, a panhandling man walked up to our table asking us if we had a few dollars we could give him for something to eat. as we shook our heads and said, "sorry", he continued begging us for money until we had to say to him "i really don't think you're supposed to be in here" and we just looked around wondering where a manager or server was and how this was being allowed to happen. after a very awkward minute and a half or so, a manager showed up behind us saying, "sir, you have to leave" and escorted him out. she did not return to apologize to us, but about 10 minutes later, the waiter came to apologize to us saying , "i'm, so sorry about that, she comes around here sometimes and we have to tell her to leave". we asked if that was a a woman, and he says, "i think so but i am not really sure", which of course made us think, wow this happens repeatedly, and with more than one bum?" we had to ask multiple times for refills on our drinks, and our waiter was not very attentive. we ordered two of the pasta bowls which were delicious and plenty enough food for two each, a salad which was good, but over dressed and not "knock your socks off" good, and also a thai shrimp wrap. the wrap was good, and came with fries. there was not ketchup, but i could not get the attention of the water to ask him for ketchup, so i ate them without. i did make a to go order in addition to our meal, and it was brought out to us promptly with our checked and was packaged up neatly. although the food was generally good, i probably won't return based on the experience.

horrible service!. i have to begin by stating i've always loved the cheesecake bistro, even when it was called the cheesecake factory. my husband (of three years) had never dined here, so tonight was the night!

i thought we were so lucky. we found a parking spot right in front (and it was packed tonight) and we didn't have a wait, we were seated immediately. so what's the problem? well, we were seated at 6:42 and in our section of about ten tables, we noticed the same three servers. tick tock, tick tock. no one and i mean no one came to our table in the first five minutes. nor the next ten minutes. nor the next fifteen minutes! i looked at each of the servers, caught their eyes wondering who in the heck was ours or was he/she caught in the bathroom.

eighteen minutes in, our lovely waitress/server came to our table. she said and i quote, "would you like to order a drink"? no, i'm so sorry it too so long to acknowledge you much less take the order". nope, would you like to order a drink. i did ask her for the time. it was seven pm. she took the ticket off the table then that had thetimewe were seated and didn't say anything else, simply waited for our order.

at this point we decide, we're here, let's eat. so we both ordered tea and before we could complete the rest of the order, she flounced over to another table! no problem, i told my husband when she finishes with their order, i'll get her attention so we can complete ours. heck, we had waited all this time, we already knew what we wanted to eat.

guess what? tick tock...tick tock. again. over five minutes had passed and she was still at the other table. then i realized, that table (of maybe six people) had already eaten. now maybe they were ordering something "to go", but over five minutes? oh and all this time, she still hadn't turned in our drink orders. we waited a few more minutes and decided to leave. i have to say, this is the firsttimei've ever left a restaurant because of such poor service.

i notified the hostess of the reason we were leaving and i received a "oh, okay thank you"! my husband, stopped to tell the server to cancel our drinks because we were leaving and she simply ignored him! yep, he said he began to tell her we were leaving and she just turned her back on him and continued her conversation with the people at that table.

look i understand busy busy busy. but please, what happened to common courtesy and taking pride in your job, whatever it is? would it have hurt her the 2nd or 3rdtimeshe passed our table to stop and say, sorry we're really busy but i'll be right back? obviously it did.

i thought about going back on a weekday because i have always bragged about this restaurant to my husband. but we decided no. this is a horrible way to bring in and retain customers. i hope others don't ever have the experience we had.

oh, by the way, since we were parked in front of the restaurant, we could clearly see our server, still in conversation, with the same table, as we drove away.

worst service ever. took over an hour to get the food & when it came everything was cold. waiter never came by or asked how everything was or anything! very overpriced for what you get. the table next to me was there before me and got their food about the sametimeas i did and 3 of their orders were screwed up. i do not recommend this place.
