went there for my girlfriends birthday. was total of 5 in our party. has been a while since i have been here. i was mixed on this trip.

we had the crab and crawfish bake for appetizer. it was very good though very small for a shareable appetizer. each person only got one small piece of toast with some dip on it.

food came out in a timely manner. most was good though one salmon dish had to be sent back as it was so salty. i tried to myself and could not eat a full bite it was so salty. manager was accommodating and brought another one out and discounted the bill a bit for it.

shrimp st. charles pasta was just ok. the shrimp in it was way overcooked and it was sort of bland with not much of any sauce. the bbq shrimp pasta bread bowl thing was very good, well seasoned and big shrimp that were cooked well. the drum with crawfish cream sauce was very good and the penne pasta with shrimp sausage and chicken was very good as well.

we ordered cheese cake for dessert and was disappointed with a few things. it took forever to come out. i also remember their pieces of cheesecake being much larger than what we got...for the price they charge per piece it was kind of disappointing what we were brought. one piece was larger than the other for sure but both seemed way smaller than i remember getting when this place first opened years back. the cookies and creams piece was good though ..the red velvet one was kind of so so ..no one really liked it.

we also ordered 2 cafe au lait coffees that took even longer to come out, i am talking 20minutesor more ....the waiter kept telling us they were waiting on steaming the milk (steamed milk in cafe au lait?). dessert was almost done being eaten when it finally came. and shockingly after waiting so long for steamed milk and to make the coffee it was barely warm and did not taste like cafe au lait...it had some cinnamon and coco powder tasting stuff in it ..was not pleased with it to say the least. we also were not happy with the service in full. we kept needing things that should have been there from the start like spoons to stir our iced tea..we asked for some and were brought one when we all had tea, and other general things like this occurred all dinner long. even when check came was no pen and could not flag down waiter to get one, we finally ended up finding one of our own before he got one to us.

if you want crappy service with barely edible food then this is your place. waited 5minutesto be seated though they weren't that busy. then 5minutesfor the waitress to come by and take our drink order. slow to fill drinks, wrong drinks delivered. i got the crescent city chicken salad which was good. my son got mac n cheese and something else non memorable. bland food. his turtle cheesecake was ok.

hope was the rudest manager ever along with her employee. first off, i love copelands and cheesecake bistro. i'm usually patronizing the one in bossier, la because thats where i'm from yet, i've always had phenomenal service and felt appreciated. i'm in school in baton rouge i decided to visit cheesecake bistro on bluebonnet. i received a buy one get on free cheesecake coupon via email because of the company was promoting the new pumpkin flavor cheesecake. after my night class i drove all the way to cheesecake bistro from across town and arrived at 9:50 pm. i stood at the cheesecake counter for about 10minutesand the employee did not address me until i asked her could i get a piece of the pumpkin spice cheesecake so that i could use my coupon. i was told no were out and that they would not allow me to use the cheesecake for another type of cheesecake. she was very unapologetic, rude, and just seemed as if she didn't want to be at work. i asked for a manager. hope, the manager, came over with the nastiest sarcasactic attitude. her demeanor was unpleasant and she was very rude. i explained to her that my colleagues and i had driven all the way there and would like to either use the coupon for another pumpkin flavored dessert or at least expect to feel as if cheesecake bistro was apologetic and would hope that we would patronize in the future even though we were inconvenienced. the only thing hope stated was that they ran out, it was 30 mins to closing and i could have went to the other restaurant (copeland's) wow! factually speaking it was 10:06 and i couldn't believe she would tell a customer that i could of went somewhere else. in addition copeland's closes at 10.

i asked for the general mangers information. she gave me his name, however i had to ask for the phone number. i then asked for her name, and she sarcastically uttered it's "hope, would you like me to write it down".

with that being said, if your looking for bad service, visit cheesecake bistro on bluebonnnet and if by some unfortunate chance their a discrepancy in your experience, i hope you don't get hope as your manager because she'll definitely change your perception on the entire restaurant.

love the menu, but service here was absolutely horrible. server offered a tea refill and then got hostile 20minuteslater when reminded that we were still waiting on tea. she kept disappearing and never checked in tables until all her tables were sitting there ready to go, but by then we had to wait even longer for her to ring up tickets on four tables at once. manager should have picked up on this.

didn't like it.. i had my birthday dinner here and was extremely excited because i absolutely love the food here. i got there about 10minutesbefore my reservation and the host told me that i couldn't sit at my table (that they had ready) until my whole party was there. eventually everyone arrived. my server had a terrible attitude. my friends told him it was my birthday and he didn't offer me anything (not even a happy birthday). he was very rude throughout the night... i accidentally left a card that a friend of mine gave me for my birthday (it had a $25 gift card in it) and the server swore up and down he did not take it. needless to say, i'm not returning.

good food, lackluster service and ambiance. went to eat here for the first time on a sunday afternoon. i have always heard rave reviews about this place, so i was excited to to give it a try. it took the hostess stand severalminutesto get menus and a table together for us, despite being slow. we had to sit on the bench and wait for several minutes. our drink orders were taken by the table busser, and we were told, "im not going to be serving you today, but i will be able to get your drink orders for you" and she brought out our drinks. it was very cold as a vent was blowing down on us, and we waited for quite a while before she returned to let us know shed be taking out dinner orders also. we ordered, and waited at least 15-20minutesbefore our actual server showed up and said to us, "i'm *** and i will be your server, if you need anything just let me know". a fewminuteslater, he showed up with a couple of biscuits for us to share. our food was brought out, and shockingly a fewminuteslater, a panhandling man walked up to our table asking us if we had a few dollars we could give him for something to eat. as we shook our heads and said, "sorry", he continued begging us for money until we had to say to him "i really don't think you're supposed to be in here" and we just looked around wondering where a manager or server was and how this was being allowed to happen. after a very awkward minute and a half or so, a manager showed up behind us saying, "sir, you have to leave" and escorted him out. she did not return to apologize to us, but about 10minuteslater, the waiter came to apologize to us saying , "i'm, so sorry about that, she comes around here sometimes and we have to tell her to leave". we asked if that was a a woman, and he says, "i think so but i am not really sure", which of course made us think, wow this happens repeatedly, and with more than one bum?" we had to ask multiple times for refills on our drinks, and our waiter was not very attentive. we ordered two of the pasta bowls which were delicious and plenty enough food for two each, a salad which was good, but over dressed and not "knock your socks off" good, and also a thai shrimp wrap. the wrap was good, and came with fries. there was not ketchup, but i could not get the attention of the water to ask him for ketchup, so i ate them without. i did make a to go order in addition to our meal, and it was brought out to us promptly with our checked and was packaged up neatly. although the food was generally good, i probably won't return based on the experience.

horrible service!. i have to begin by stating i've always loved the cheesecake bistro, even when it was called the cheesecake factory. my husband (of three years) had never dined here, so tonight was the night!

i thought we were so lucky. we found a parking spot right in front (and it was packed tonight) and we didn't have a wait, we were seated immediately. so what's the problem? well, we were seated at 6:42 and in our section of about ten tables, we noticed the same three servers. tick tock, tick tock. no one and i mean no one came to our table in the first five minutes. nor the next ten minutes. nor the next fifteen minutes! i looked at each of the servers, caught their eyes wondering who in the heck was ours or was he/she caught in the bathroom.

eighteenminutesin, our lovely waitress/server came to our table. she said and i quote, "would you like to order a drink"? no, i'm so sorry it too so long to acknowledge you much less take the order". nope, would you like to order a drink. i did ask her for the time. it was seven pm. she took the ticket off the table then that had the time we were seated and didn't say anything else, simply waited for our order.

at this point we decide, we're here, let's eat. so we both ordered tea and before we could complete the rest of the order, she flounced over to another table! no problem, i told my husband when she finishes with their order, i'll get her attention so we can complete ours. heck, we had waited all this time, we already knew what we wanted to eat.

guess what? tick tock...tick tock. again. over fiveminuteshad passed and she was still at the other table. then i realized, that table (of maybe six people) had already eaten. now maybe they were ordering something "to go", but over five minutes? oh and all this time, she still hadn't turned in our drink orders. we waited a few moreminutesand decided to leave. i have to say, this is the first time i've ever left a restaurant because of such poor service.

i notified the hostess of the reason we were leaving and i received a "oh, okay thank you"! my husband, stopped to tell the server to cancel our drinks because we were leaving and she simply ignored him! yep, he said he began to tell her we were leaving and she just turned her back on him and continued her conversation with the people at that table.

look i understand busy busy busy. but please, what happened to common courtesy and taking pride in your job, whatever it is? would it have hurt her the 2nd or 3rd time she passed our table to stop and say, sorry we're really busy but i'll be right back? obviously it did.

i thought about going back on a weekday because i have always bragged about this restaurant to my husband. but we decided no. this is a horrible way to bring in and retain customers. i hope others don't ever have the experience we had.

oh, by the way, since we were parked in front of the restaurant, we could clearly see our server, still in conversation, with the same table, as we drove away.
