went there for my girlfriends birthday. was total of 5 in our party. has been a while since i have been here. i was mixed on this trip.

we had the crab and crawfish bake for appetizer. it was very good though very small for a shareable appetizer. each person only got one small piece of toast with some dip on it.

food came out in a timely manner. most was good though one salmon dish had to be sent back as it was so salty. i tried to myself and could not eat a full bite it was so salty. manager was accommodating and brought another one out and discounted the bill a bit for it.

shrimp st. charles pasta was just ok. the shrimp in it was way overcooked and it was sort of bland with not much of any sauce. the bbq shrimp pasta bread bowl thing was very good, well seasoned and big shrimp that were cooked well. the drum with crawfish cream sauce was very good and the penne pasta with shrimp sausage and chicken was very good as well.

weorderedcheese cake for dessert and was disappointed with a few things. it took forever to come out. i also remember their pieces of cheesecake being much larger than what we got...for the price they charge per piece it was kind of disappointing what we were brought. one piece was larger than the other for sure but both seemed way smaller than i remember getting when this place first opened years back. the cookies and creams piece was good though ..the red velvet one was kind of so so ..no one really liked it.

we alsoordered2 cafe au lait coffees that took even longer to come out, i am talking 20 minutes or more ....the waiter kept telling us they were waiting on steaming the milk (steamed milk in cafe au lait?). dessert was almost done being eaten when it finally came. and shockingly after waiting so long for steamed milk and to make the coffee it was barely warm and did not taste like cafe au lait...it had some cinnamon and coco powder tasting stuff in it ..was not pleased with it to say the least. we also were not happy with the service in full. we kept needing things that should have been there from the start like spoons to stir our iced tea..we asked for some and were brought one when we all had tea, and other general things like this occurred all dinner long. even when check came was no pen and could not flag down waiter to get one, we finally ended up finding one of our own before he got one to us.

i hadn't been there in a while & had high expectations. but i must say the food wasn't super impressive tonight. we started with the crab & crawfish bake. that was divine, but we could have used a couple more toast pieces. the sex in the city martini was good, too! iorderedthe paneed chicken over crawfish linguini. the chicken was seasoned well, but the linguini was a bit bland, the crawfish were sparse & it could have benefited from more sauce. in lieu of a dessert, i decided i wanted a cold coffee drink but with alcohol. so iordereda white chocolate mocha, add bailey's. i should have justorderedcoffee with bailey's & told them to put whipped cream on top of it, because they charged me for two drinks & and i could sense no alcohol in it at all. overall, it was okay, but i'm over cheesecake bistro for a while.

nasty. some relatives same in from tx and wanted to go here to eat. i haven't been in awhile so we said ok we will try it again. bad idea. the only good thing was our waitress, she was very nice, but the food was horrible. the appetizer of crab/crawfish spread, was sweet like it had sugar in it and the crawfish tails were like rubber. iorderedblackened chicken alfredo, and my husband got blackened shrimp, they was barely any sauce on the pasta and the chicken and shrimp were far from blackened and both overcooked.we asked for extra sauce and when it came out it was like water. my brother got another shrimp dish that was nasty also. don't waste your time and money going to this restaurant.what happened to the old menu that used to be good. sad

good food, lackluster service and ambiance. went to eat here for the first time on a sunday afternoon. i have always heard rave reviews about this place, so i was excited to to give it a try. it took the hostess stand several minutes to get menus and a table together for us, despite being slow. we had to sit on the bench and wait for several minutes. our drink orders were taken by the table busser, and we were told, "im not going to be serving you today, but i will be able to get your drink orders for you" and she brought out our drinks. it was very cold as a vent was blowing down on us, and we waited for quite a while before she returned to let us know shed be taking out dinner orders also. we ordered, and waited at least 15-20 minutes before our actual server showed up and said to us, "i'm *** and i will be your server, if you need anything just let me know". a few minutes later, he showed up with a couple of biscuits for us to share. our food was brought out, and shockingly a few minutes later, a panhandling man walked up to our table asking us if we had a few dollars we could give him for something to eat. as we shook our heads and said, "sorry", he continued begging us for money until we had to say to him "i really don't think you're supposed to be in here" and we just looked around wondering where a manager or server was and how this was being allowed to happen. after a very awkward minute and a half or so, a manager showed up behind us saying, "sir, you have to leave" and escorted him out. she did not return to apologize to us, but about 10 minutes later, the waiter came to apologize to us saying , "i'm, so sorry about that, she comes around here sometimes and we have to tell her to leave". we asked if that was a a woman, and he says, "i think so but i am not really sure", which of course made us think, wow this happens repeatedly, and with more than one bum?" we had to ask multiple times for refills on our drinks, and our waiter was not very attentive. weorderedtwo of the pasta bowls which were delicious and plenty enough food for two each, a salad which was good, but over dressed and not "knock your socks off" good, and also a thai shrimp wrap. the wrap was good, and came with fries. there was not ketchup, but i could not get the attention of the water to ask him for ketchup, so i ate them without. i did make a to go order in addition to our meal, and it was brought out to us promptly with our checked and was packaged up neatly. although the food was generally good, i probably won't return based on the experience.

horrible service!. i have to begin by stating i've always loved the cheesecake bistro, even when it was called the cheesecake factory. my husband (of three years) had never dined here, so tonight was the night!

i thought we were so lucky. we found a parking spot right in front (and it was packed tonight) and we didn't have a wait, we were seated immediately. so what's the problem? well, we were seated at 6:42 and in our section of about ten tables, we noticed the same three servers. tick tock, tick tock. no one and i mean no one came to our table in the first five minutes. nor the next ten minutes. nor the next fifteen minutes! i looked at each of the servers, caught their eyes wondering who in the heck was ours or was he/she caught in the bathroom.

eighteen minutes in, our lovely waitress/server came to our table. she said and i quote, "would you like to order a drink"? no, i'm so sorry it too so long to acknowledge you much less take the order". nope, would you like to order a drink. i did ask her for the time. it was seven pm. she took the ticket off the table then that had the time we were seated and didn't say anything else, simply waited for our order.

at this point we decide, we're here, let's eat. so we bothorderedtea and before we could complete the rest of the order, she flounced over to another table! no problem, i told my husband when she finishes with their order, i'll get her attention so we can complete ours. heck, we had waited all this time, we already knew what we wanted to eat.

guess what? tick tock...tick tock. again. over five minutes had passed and she was still at the other table. then i realized, that table (of maybe six people) had already eaten. now maybe they were ordering something "to go", but over five minutes? oh and all this time, she still hadn't turned in our drink orders. we waited a few more minutes and decided to leave. i have to say, this is the first time i've ever left a restaurant because of such poor service.

i notified the hostess of the reason we were leaving and i received a "oh, okay thank you"! my husband, stopped to tell the server to cancel our drinks because we were leaving and she simply ignored him! yep, he said he began to tell her we were leaving and she just turned her back on him and continued her conversation with the people at that table.

look i understand busy busy busy. but please, what happened to common courtesy and taking pride in your job, whatever it is? would it have hurt her the 2nd or 3rd time she passed our table to stop and say, sorry we're really busy but i'll be right back? obviously it did.

i thought about going back on a weekday because i have always bragged about this restaurant to my husband. but we decided no. this is a horrible way to bring in and retain customers. i hope others don't ever have the experience we had.

oh, by the way, since we were parked in front of the restaurant, we could clearly see our server, still in conversation, with the same table, as we drove away.

a anniversary dinner to forget. the service was horrible! the waiter took 10minutes to notice we were seated. later, the appetizer came to the table without plates and it took an additional 5minutes for them to arrive. my daughtersorderedkids pizzas, the crust was slightly burned. the last straw was the condition of the window seal at our booth, it was incredibly dirty. my wife suggested we move to another area and inform them of the condition of the window seal but after further discussion we decided to leave and never come back. i hope your experience is better than mine!

a decent evening. went to this place with an open mind. i am not a big fan of the regular copeland's brand. however i was pleasantly surprised. the ambiance was incredible. i loved the atmosphere and the dining room in its totality.

the only place i found fault was in the service. i had never been to this establishment before so the waitress took the menu and made recommendations. which is great. however, when she went over the menu with us she only called attention to the most expensive things on the menu. again, fine. i didn't go out to be cheap, i went out to have a nice meal and a good time. the problem was anytime we asked about another item on the menu that was not one of the "recommended" items she would talk down about it and say things like, "i wouldn't personally order that." again, not being cheap, i had always wanted to try shrimp and grits and when i came across that item in the menu i was kind of stuck on it. the waitress had really tried to lead us away from that meal. weorderedit anyway. however, when we hadorderedthe cheaper items on the menu, we noticed a quick decline in service. because we had decided to order a 15 dollar meal rather than a 27 dollar meal, i guess she did not feel that we would tip well. i ran out of drinks twice and was barely checked on during the entire meal. she also did not ask us if we wanted a dessert at the end of our meal. seemed as if once weorderedthe lesser end items she was done with us and ready to wrap up the evening and get us out of the restaurant.

the shrimp and grits turned out to be great. i would suggest it. probably could be better though. the appetizer was also great... and the raspberry cheesecake was good, but it needed to be chilled more. overall a good dining experience. had a great evening regardless of the service. will most likely go again.
