terrible service, terrible food. i have been to clocked several times, and i am always disappointed by theserviceand food. the last time i went (because i was hungry and everywhere else had a wait) i ordered the blt and tater tots. well, after waiting 45 minutes, my blt came with cold tater tots. i was sitting at the counter and watched the tater tots sit in a bowl for a good 25 minutes before they were put on my plate. not ok. so i sent them back, and asked for hot ones...which never came. there were a multitude of servers "working" but none of them seemed to care about serving customers. in addition to never getting new tots, the blt was the worst blt i have ever had. it was essentially 2 pieces of toast, one piece of lettuce, on tiny tomato slice, and one slice of bacon broken into 4 pieces. honestly, i laughed when i got it. i mean, there was no b, l, or t on that bread! unacceptable!

another thing that bothered me was watching the grill cook pick up raw hamburger meat and then procede to touch buns and produce without washing his hands!

bottom line: if you like being ignored by servers, eating cold sparse food, and aren't afraid of a little e coli, then clocked is for you.

bacon jam burger was excellent! mix of sweetness with the bacon and a perfectly cooked patty with some killer bacon.serviceis something of question; friendly, but slow. took a while, so don't be in a hurry.

do avoid. i created this account just to write this review. my aunt gave me a gift card to this place for christmas. it supposedly has the best burgers in athens.servicewas barely mediocre. we ordered and apparently fries are extra and don't come with the $8+ burgers. they come back and tell us the buns are out and we would get honey wheat. then they tell us honey wheat was out and we have to resort to rye or gluten free. we finally get the burgers after a long wait and they are very done, dry, and just overall sucked. the beer selection is terrible and expensive. the atmosphere is very hippieish. if i didn't have that gift card, i would have been upset about payin for that food. i've had better whoppers and baconators...

mediocre. i am not one to write reviews, but i was so disappointed in this place. i have lived in athens for 3 years, and i always hear rave reviews about this place. this place is supposed to have "the best" burgers in athens, so i have always wanted to try it. i went with a friend from out of town early on a friday before it was busy. when he took our order, i had realized they didn't ask how we wanted our burger cooked, which i thought was odd, but decided maybe the restaurant has only a certain level they will cook it to make sure the burger taste up to their standards or something. but then the burger came out, and it was well done. extremely well done. the patty had no pink, and was even a little crunchy. the burger did not taste bad, but it was very disappointing. i wanted to show my friend from out of town how good the food is here in athens, and this place was a huge let down.

she got a burger with jalapeños on it, but they looked oddly cut, and swore they tasted like green peppers instead. however, i did not try her burger since i do not enjoy spicy things, and wasn't willing to test it out.

the french fries were pretty good, but they come separately, not with the burger.

last but not least,servicewas.... ok. our guy could have been a little friendlier, but i don't have a problem withservicenot checking up on you every couple mins as long as drinks are full, so overallservicewas fine.

may could have given 3 stars, since everything about this place probably results in a 2.5 star rating, but i rounded down because i am a jerk

one of my favorite places in athens! affordable and definitely great quality food for your money. this is my boyfriend and i's "place" and our go to for yummy food. greatserviceand atmosphere. my favorite is the peanut butter burger with sweet potato fries.

yummy in my tummy. i stumbled upon this place thanks to urbanspoon and i'm so glad i did. the burgers are juicy and flavorful with lots of different options. theservicewas friendly and fast. the atmosphere was homey with sci-fi posters, a diner-esc, boho and playful feel. chill place with organic burgers that are reasonably priced. cannot go wrong.

delicious! fries were great & our burgers were tasty. got the basil jalapeño dipping sauce for the fries, and i wanted to smear it all over my burger.servicewas kind & courteous, even though they were very busy. all in all-loved it!

long time supporter and frequent customer. very disappointed withservicenow. in addition to this, portion sizes are way too small, i have left feeling hungry the last few times (i could almost have counted my sweet potato fries on one hand). also, they have stopped giving sauces with the meals.
all in all, this place used to be fantastic and has turned into a rip off.

awesome! i ate there with my family for dinner. the burgers are great and it's a cool atmosphere.servicewas a little off, but the food more than made up for that. i will definitely be back for more!

horribleserviceand management. i've been eating at clocked for the past several years, and sadly the place is getting worse with time. the food is fine, but it is not worth the time and terrible service. the wait to be seated and served is probably the slowest i've experienced. plus, i don't think i've ever been to a restaurant where i felt like such an inconvenience to the manager and server. don't waste your time and money here - try out some of the other local favorites like last resort and transmet.

best hamburgers and tater tots ever. yes, they are the best, counting anywhere i've ever had a hamburger (except for home) - but the wait staff can really have an attitude and theserviceis slow - that is a real negative in my opinion - doesn't matter how good it is - if i can't get food in reasonable time and with reasonable service, then it's hard to choose to go to a place. it's not 'edgy' to give bad service, or whatever they think, it's just plain bad business. (i am a good customer too by the way, so i don't 'deserve' bad service.)
