terrible service, terrible food. i have been to clocked several times, and i am always disappointed by the service and food. the last time i went (because i was hungry and everywhere else had a wait) i ordered the blt and tater tots. well, after waiting 45 minutes, my blt came with cold tater tots. i was sitting at the counter and watched the tater tots sit in a bowl for agood25 minutes before they were put on my plate. not ok. so i sent them back, and asked for hot ones...which never came. there were a multitude of servers "working" but none of them seemed to care about serving customers. in addition to never getting new tots, the blt was the worst blt i have ever had. it was essentially 2 pieces of toast, one piece of lettuce, on tiny tomato slice, and one slice of bacon broken into 4 pieces. honestly, i laughed when i got it. i mean, there was no b, l, or t on that bread! unacceptable!

another thing that bothered me was watching the grill cook pick up raw hamburger meat and then procede to touch buns and produce without washing his hands!

bottom line: if you like being ignored by servers, eating cold sparse food, and aren't afraid of a little e coli, then clocked is for you.

mediocre. i am not one to write reviews, but i was so disappointed in this place. i have lived in athens for 3 years, and i always hear rave reviews about this place. this place is supposed to have "the best" burgers in athens, so i have always wanted to try it. i went with a friend from out of town early on a friday before it was busy. when he took our order, i had realized they didn't ask how we wanted our burger cooked, which i thought was odd, but decided maybe the restaurant has only a certain level they will cook it to make sure the burger taste up to their standards or something. but then the burger came out, and it was well done. extremely well done. the patty had no pink, and was even a little crunchy. the burger did not taste bad, but it was very disappointing. i wanted to show my friend from out of town howgoodthe food is here in athens, and this place was a huge let down.

she got a burger with jalapeños on it, but they looked oddly cut, and swore they tasted like green peppers instead. however, i did not try her burger since i do not enjoy spicy things, and wasn't willing to test it out.

the french fries were pretty good, but they come separately, not with the burger.

last but not least, service was.... ok. our guy could have been a little friendlier, but i don't have a problem with service not checking up on you every couple mins as long as drinks are full, so overall service was fine.

may could have given 3 stars, since everything about this place probably results in a 2.5 star rating, but i rounded down because i am a jerk

this place is terrible. i went in they front door. wait staff said sit where you like. i told her i would sit outside. went outside and waited for 10 mins. server came out and poured water for another table, looked right at me, and went back inside. another guy comes out on patio and sits down, wait staff comes right out and takes his order. does not even ask if i had been helped. i guess because i didn't have dreadlocks and hipster clothes on my money was nogoodthere.

i read the reviews after going for dinner. glad i waited because we had a reallygoodexperience and everything was delicious. the burger, sweet potato fries with dipping sauce were awesome and the greek salad delicious! we ended the meal with a malt. the server was running around like crazy to help everyone because someone had called off. after hearing that i understood! definitely worth the wait!!

seriouslygoodburgers. what's not to like about this place? the restaurant is cute and quirky, just like the staff and the food!

this is definitely my go to place when i am craving agoodburger in athens. they've got a diverse burger menu that doesn't just offer the standard ol' cheeseburger.

prices are decent; a bit more than i would've expected from a diner joint.

great burger! try the "something bleu" burger!. i've eaten a lot of burgers in my day, and clocked had one of the best. i'm not a huge bleu cheese fan, but the "something bleu burger" looked amazing (bleu cheese, bacon, ranch, house sauce, and the works).
i sat at the bar and watched the chef slap fresh meat (instead of frozen) onto the grill, so i knew it would at least be ok. when i finally got the burger, it appeared real messy (sometimes agoodthing). anyways, about 3 minutes later the burger was gone and my hands were covered with ketchup, ranch, etc. hands down, the best burger i've had outside atlanta. the meat, bacon, cheese, veges, all tasted amazing. also, the fries appeared to be fresh cut and tasted amazing. the vanilla shake was prettygoodtoo.
the only negative was that it took a little over 30 minutes to get our food, which is way longer than it takes to make a burger, but they were pretty busy. bottom line, it was worth the wait.

best hamburgers and tater tots ever. yes, they are the best, counting anywhere i've ever had a hamburger (except for home) - but the wait staff can really have an attitude and the service is slow - that is a real negative in my opinion - doesn't matter howgoodit is - if i can't get food in reasonable time and with reasonable service, then it's hard to choose to go to a place. it's not 'edgy' to give bad service, or whatever they think, it's just plain bad business. (i am agoodcustomer too by the way, so i don't 'deserve' bad service.)
