burger came out extremely salty. fries were way overdone. no napkins. place was dirty. cooks didn't have gloves on. overpriced. meh service. never going back.

terrible service, terrible food. i have been to clocked several times, and i am always disappointed by the service and food. the last time i went (because i was hungry and everywhere else had a wait) i ordered the blt and tater tots. well, after waiting 45 minutes, my blt came with cold tater tots. i was sitting at the counter and watched the tater tots sit in a bowl for a good 25 minutes before they were put on my plate. not ok. so i sent them back, and asked for hot ones...which never came. there were a multitude of servers "working" but none of them seemed to care about serving customers. in addition to never getting new tots, the blt was the worst blt i have ever had. it was essentially 2 pieces of toast, one piece of lettuce, on tiny tomato slice, and one slice of bacon broken into 4 pieces. honestly, i laughed when i got it. i mean, there was no b, l, or t on that bread! unacceptable!

another thing that bothered me was watching the grill cook pick up raw hamburger meat and then procede to touch buns and produce without washing his hands!

bottom line: if you like being ignored by servers, eating cold sparse food, and aren't afraid of a little e coli, then clocked is for you.

i really like clocked. i think it's a super cute joint with tasty big burgers, and it's totally vintage from the decor to the soda choices. i appreciate the vibe and the food has been tasty every time i've had it. not my favorite burger in athens but probably a close second.

bacon jam burger was excellent! mix of sweetness with the bacon and a perfectly cooked patty with some killer bacon. service is something of question; friendly, but slow. took a while, so don't be in a hurry.

nothing special. key lime shake was not good., weird bitter taste, took 20 minutes to get it. poor service, had to ask for napkins. waitress said "it's out of my hands,dude" and walked away when my husband asked what was taking so long to get the shake.

great food!. great food. no wifi available.

the food was tasty. however, i watched an employee cook buns on the girll as he munched on food, without washing his hands before or after eating. not to mention employees stood right outside the door of the restaurant smoking cigarettes, and every time someone entered or exited we could smell smoke. again, the burger was great, but you can get an equally tasty burger in a cleaner environment elsewhere.

do avoid. i created this account just to write this review. my aunt gave me a gift card to this place for christmas. it supposedly has the best burgers in athens. service was barely mediocre. we ordered and apparently fries are extra and don't come with the $8+ burgers. they come back and tell us the buns are out and we would get honey wheat. then they tell us honey wheat was out and we have to resort to rye or gluten free. we finally get the burgers after a long wait and they are very done, dry, and just overall sucked. the beer selection is terrible and expensive. the atmosphere is very hippieish. if i didn't have that gift card, i would have been upset about payin for that food. i've had better whoppers and baconators...

disappointing.... this place used to be amazing, and one of my favorite places. i don't know what happened, but it has gone downhill recently.

the last time my boyfriend and i went, we sat outside and placed our orders.... we had been there forever when another server came to our table and asked us if we were ready to order. apparently the person who took our order went home and never put our order in. so we ordered again... it took a very long time before we got our food, and when we did get it, our orders were wrong... another long wait for our correct order, and i got to eat it without a drink bc the server never came back to check on us, except to give us a check.

mediocre. i am not one to write reviews, but i was so disappointed in this place. i have lived in athens for 3 years, and i always hear rave reviews about this place. this place is supposed to have "the best" burgers in athens, so i have always wanted to try it. i went with a friend from out of town early on a friday before it was busy. when he took our order, i had realized they didn't ask how we wanted our burger cooked, which i thought was odd, but decided maybe the restaurant has only a certain level they will cook it to make sure the burger taste up to their standards or something. but then the burger came out, and it was well done. extremely well done. the patty had no pink, and was even a little crunchy. the burger did not taste bad, but it was very disappointing. i wanted to show my friend from out of town how good the food is here in athens, and this place was a huge let down.

she got a burger with jalapeños on it, but they looked oddly cut, and swore they tasted like green peppers instead. however, i did not try her burger since i do not enjoy spicy things, and wasn't willing to test it out.

the french fries were pretty good, but they come separately, not with the burger.

last but not least, service was.... ok. our guy could have been a little friendlier, but i don't have a problem with service not checking up on you every couple mins as long as drinks are full, so overall service was fine.

may could have given 3 stars, since everything about this place probably results in a 2.5 star rating, but i rounded down because i am a jerk

one of my favorite places in athens! affordable and definitely great quality food for your money. this is my boyfriend and i's "place" and our go to for yummy food. great service and atmosphere. my favorite is the peanut butter burger with sweet potato fries.

delicious and fun. sit outside for a splendid spring or summer evening. great burgers and cool atmosphere.

the burger came with a ring of pickled jalapenos, melted pepper jack cheese and a spread of chipotle dressing under the bun. the beef patty itself was juicy and tender-you could definitely tastes the notes of cajun seasoning in the patty after each bite

good!. i went there one day with a few friends and we all chose a different burger. i hadn't had a burger in awhile because its hard to find one made of quality ingredients but this place is great and the bread is nice and local and doesn't turn soggy.
