do avoid. i created this account just to write this review. my aunt gave me a gift card to this place for christmas. it supposedly has the bestburgersin athens. service was barely mediocre. we ordered and apparently fries are extra and don't come with the $8+ burgers. they come back and tell us the buns are out and we would get honey wheat. then they tell us honey wheat was out and we have to resort to rye or gluten free. we finally get theburgersafter a long wait and they are very done, dry, and just overall sucked. the beer selection is terrible and expensive. the atmosphere is very hippieish. if i didn't have that gift card, i would have been upset about payin for that food. i've had better whoppers and baconators...

mediocre. i am not one to write reviews, but i was so disappointed in this place. i have lived in athens for 3 years, and i always hear rave reviews about this place. this place is supposed to have "the best"burgersin athens, so i have always wanted to try it. i went with a friend from out of town early on a friday before it was busy. when he took our order, i had realized they didn't ask how we wanted our burger cooked, which i thought was odd, but decided maybe the restaurant has only a certain level they will cook it to make sure the burger taste up to their standards or something. but then the burger came out, and it was well done. extremely well done. the patty had no pink, and was even a little crunchy. the burger did not taste bad, but it was very disappointing. i wanted to show my friend from out of town how good the food is here in athens, and this place was a huge let down.

she got a burger with jalapeños on it, but they looked oddly cut, and swore they tasted like green peppers instead. however, i did not try her burger since i do not enjoy spicy things, and wasn't willing to test it out.

the french fries were pretty good, but they come separately, not with the burger.

last but not least, service was.... ok. our guy could have been a little friendlier, but i don't have a problem with service not checking up on you every couple mins as long as drinks are full, so overall service was fine.

may could have given 3 stars, since everything about this place probably results in a 2.5 star rating, but i rounded down because i am a jerk

yummy in my tummy. i stumbled upon this place thanks to urbanspoon and i'm so glad i did. theburgersare juicy and flavorful with lots of different options. the service was friendly and fast. the atmosphere was homey with sci-fi posters, a diner-esc, boho and playful feel. chill place with organicburgersthat are reasonably priced. cannot go wrong.

delicious! fries were great & ourburgerswere tasty. got the basil jalapeño dipping sauce for the fries, and i wanted to smear it all over my burger. service was kind & courteous, even though they were very busy. all in all-loved it!

vegan friendly?. i went to clocked because it was labeled "vegan friendly" on urbanspoon, and because their menu seemed to have a lot of veggie options. when i got there, i asked the waitress about the vegan-ness of their veggie dogs and veggie hamburgers, just to be sure. her response really surprised me: their veggie dogs andburgersare vegan, but their bread is not! this is very disappointing. my salad was good, but i really wanted a hot dog. how hard can it be to keep some vegan buns on hand? my wife, who is not vegan, very much enjoyed her dog, so there's that.

awesome! i ate there with my family for dinner. theburgersare great and it's a cool atmosphere. service was a little off, but the food more than made up for that. i will definitely be back for more!

great burger! try the "something bleu" burger!. i've eaten a lot ofburgersin my day, and clocked had one of the best. i'm not a huge bleu cheese fan, but the "something bleu burger" looked amazing (bleu cheese, bacon, ranch, house sauce, and the works).
i sat at the bar and watched the chef slap fresh meat (instead of frozen) onto the grill, so i knew it would at least be ok. when i finally got the burger, it appeared real messy (sometimes a good thing). anyways, about 3 minutes later the burger was gone and my hands were covered with ketchup, ranch, etc. hands down, the best burger i've had outside atlanta. the meat, bacon, cheese, veges, all tasted amazing. also, the fries appeared to be fresh cut and tasted amazing. the vanilla shake was pretty good too.
the only negative was that it took a little over 30 minutes to get our food, which is way longer than it takes to make a burger, but they were pretty busy. bottom line, it was worth the wait.
