husband and i came for brunch on a sunday morning. we didn't have to wait for a table which was good.

husband had theeggsand sausage with diced fried potatoes (their hash browns?) and subbed biscuits and gravy instead of toast. i had the colorado burrito which was filled with chili and scrambled eggs, topped with chili con queso (but was really just a cheese sauce) and served with chips, salsa, and sour cream.

all the food was good but it wasn't "wow!" we weren't blown away by it. i don't know if it's because we didn't get a special or whatever it is they're known for. we aren't sure we'll be back again and it's not on the top of our list.

food was slow to come out. it wasn't super busy but it took at least 20 mins to get our food when there was only 2 of us!

they do have freshly squeezed orange juice which was good but i wasn't too big of a fan because i don't like pulp in my orange juice. it wasn't cold either.

i give them 1/5 stars. tried this place because they have good reviews, unfortunately we were all disappointed. 4 of us went and not 1 of us left with something to write home about. i ordered steak, eggs& potatoes.... i sent my steak back because it was purple on 1 side., the waitress said its the ink from the butcher.. i still returned it because i've ordered steaks at places where i was charged 50 bucks and didn't see any purple ink! this steak was maybe 10 bucks so... no! not eating purple steak, i don't care what the reason is! anyway, regular food for a regular place. i heard this place has been around for years... not sure how.

delicious & pretty food. yes, the place needs updating, but it was clean.
went for breakfast, and was expecting greasy diner food, but, no, what i got was ohmygod delicious! i had the veggie taquitos - the veggies were good, and there were lots of green chilies - it had so much flavor. the southwestern hashbrowns were good - a nice, big flavorful order. the only thing i found lacking in flavor was the cheese grits, and i love cheese grits (mine, anyway) - i like that they were baked, but they had no flavor, and they need to use a sharper cheddar cheese (just my opinion).
the presentation of the food is very nice. everything i saw them serve looked delicious - the biscuit debris, chicken fried steak, andeggsbenedict.
and our service was great.
i look forward to going again.

good lunch!. wasn't sure what to expect after reading the reviews. went on a monday around 12:30 for lunch. our server was fantastic. very sweet and accommodating. i got the bacon guacamole burger which was great, but even better were their fries. do yourself a favor and order the ranch/cholula dipping sauce. my sis loved hereggsbenedict but wasn't crazy about the cheese grits. and my dad really enjoyed his angus burger. the three of us ate for less than $30. we will definitely be back!

i just don't understand. for years classen grill has been a regular sunday brunch spot for the wife and i,but not anymore.gradually the quality of food and service has gone downhill, and doesn't seem to be getting any better any time soon. from poachedeggsbeing overcooked,to cold hollandaise to terrible service. last sunday we went and tried again. well,it was the straw that broke the camels back. i ordered a waffle topped with fruit, and am still appalled at what they served me. overripe canteloupe,a few grapes, and about half a pint of squishy, old, some moldy, blueberries that i wouldnt feed to my dog. working in food,i would never imagine serving that, and am disgusting that not only a cook(s?) served it but a server brought it out like that. these people just don't give a damn, and we will not be returning.

my favorite breakfast joint!. yes, the building is in need of repair. yes, the tables are crammed in close together. yes, the art on the wall (which is for sale) can sometimes be atrocious. oh, and the parking sucks. but the food speaks for itself. it is my all-time favorite place to grab a delicious, satisfying breakfast on the cheap. i like myeggsover-medium, and they always get it just right. their bacon isn't the thin, transparent, almost-not-there slivers you get at ihop. the fried potatoes are hearty and satisfying. no tropicana to be found here. they have freshly-squeezed orange juice, squeezed right there in the restaurant (but be prepared to pay a premium for it - around $4 a glass). their waffles are so good you almost don't need syrup, and their beignets (served with raspberry sauce) are a delicious treat. i can't speak for their lunch menu. i've never tried it, because every time i'm at classen grill i default to their tried and true breakfast menu.

special for a reason.

freshly squeezed orange juice and chinookeggs-- perfect!

the coyote quesadilla and the freshly squeezed orange juice? perfect!

service: darn near perfect.

local crowd: happy and well fed.

this is always a favorite for me when i have out-of-town guests -- i've yet to see one of them leave classen grill unhappy.

a good place... although its not the easiest place in the world to get to and park at, it's worth the effort to get yourself to classen grill.

the food there is above and beyond the usual breakfast and the brunch offerings are solid too.

i have tried a few things on the menu and i can recommend a couple for sure. the chicken fry is named after the place and is great for a hearty breakfast with it and a couple eggs. they have a good standardeggsbenedict, and im a sucker for that, but, they also have a blt benedict and it's pretty much what it sounds like and tasty as it gets for a brunch item.

pretty ugly inside (but not gross, just ugly), is the only thing i can think that isnt a plus.

good service, good food. not much else to ask for from a place like classen grill.

i have gotten a so-so experience at classen grill. one bad; one good. first off, the orange juice isn't as awesome as everyone says it is. it cost like five bucks for a 12 or 14 oz glass. it's tasty but also room temperature. i'd rather have a large glass of cold stuff. two, hash brown potatoes means home fries deep fried and soggy. i evensaid hash browns. do they have that there? i was suggested a burrito and i'm thinking breakfast burrito. i got a cheesey beefy burrito covered in nacho cheese and topped with tortilla chips. why is this on the breakfast menu? it sucked. also my dateseggswere ordered over easy each time we've gone an it's always over medium. their toast is wonder bread grilled on one side. the second time i went i got a burger. it was very fresh and filling. sausage links are also very good here. there are better places to get a good meal. it's pricey and borderline obnoxious how they try to make fusion breakfast lunch food. just my opinion. i'll be back, but maybe not for a while.

breakfast anytime.... i love breakfast food. i often crave it at odd times and classen grill is a great place to put that craving to rest. i really enjoyed theeggsbenedict with a couple of cups of coffee. i visited after lunch and found it to be quiet and relaxing. my server was very kind and attentive.

well...maybe i was wrong. this morning's breakfast...my partner got perfecteggsbenedict...it was beautiful...fluffy hollanaise sauce on 2 perfectly poached eggs.
i got the same thing...except my egg whites had been removed so i only got yolks, the hollandaise sauce had separated and congealed on the plate and the hash browns were cold and soggy as if someone else ordered it a half hour before and they just added the yolks to warm it up. not impressed at all.
it wasn't busy...maybe that was the problem, they need to be busy to keep the food fresh.
