vegetarian food review~~
if you are in rishikesh, you gotta try the oldest restraunt located near laxman jhula. one unique thing about the place is a person who is dressed like a pandit with a choti as the name suggests and greets people entering the place for a nice meal.
we were actually full when we went to chotiwalabut also wanted to try out something so we ordered pav bhaji, veg biryani and butter milk for dinner.the food was overall good, being from hyderabad i have all rights to judge the biryani but to my surprise it was good though it is made with pulao like flavours, the whole dish still came out well with the spices properly managed. the pav bhaji was delicious and the bhaji was good and with the onion slices it was amazing. the butter milk were good too.
the service is good, the place has ground floor with local restraunt sitting while the upper floor is ac restraunt with proper dining experience. the crowd was so so. there are 2 choti wala adjacent to each other, make sure you go to the oldest one. the price is economical and fits in the pocket.
overall my first time inrishikeshwas full of good feels and good food. try this place once for sure.
happy binging 😄
