chotiwala

i had heardgreatthings about chotiwala however the place turned out to really dud. the location is amazing but same can't be said about the food. the service is poor and place is really unhygienic. they have ruined the brand image of chotiwala. one should avoid this outlet and visit the original branch on the other side of ram jhula.

came here on a whim with a group of friends as we were in the area and had agreatexperience overall. we weren't sure what to order but the staffs were helpful and recommended us somegreatdishes and every single one of them was incredible.we will be back for sure

it wasgreatexperience at rishikesh. it is very famous restaurant since last 63 years. i must recommend this to people.

punjabi special thali : it includes dal makhni, kadhi pakoda, pulao rice, mixed veg sabji, paneer kadai, papad, roti and raita. just full meal which makes you happ with best taste.

south indian thali : just superb mouth watering taste it was. 3 sabji, rice , roti and papad

chole samosa : taste was just superb

very good experience in rishikesh.

i have been visiting this place since i was a kid.
the menu of this restaurant is pretty simple and usually you'll see a family crowd here.
we ordered -
dal makhni
chilli paneer
noodles
roti
everything taste good.

this restaurant provides best indian cuisine for indian food lover. really agreattaste in rishikesh specially punjabi taste like menu , the food is clean and tasty.

over hyped place. noodles cold . waiters untrained and slow. ambience like local restaurant . thali was good in taste specially dal makhni.
nothinggreatin choti wala except for the guy sitting like a dummy at the enterace.
concluding : if you are from a metro city , then don’t visit this place. bet you won’t like it

visited this place in january. we had there special thali. thali contained rice, raita, paneer gravy, mix veggie, rotis, curry, dal, gulab jaamun.
food was average but i loved gulab jaamun the most ❤️
the ambience wasgreatbecause it is besides ganga ghat 😇

my experience was okayish. i feel it is a bit overhyped. chole bhature is a must try whereas thali can be missed. it does get crowded so make sure you reach on time. the guy at entrance isgreatattraction.

when you are in rishikesh you cant miss the famous chotiwala. whatever the people say it is over hyped , not good is just crap. i had the food here in august 2011 and now again in my recent visit last weekend had the food. believe me it has not been changed since yet. 

when you are coming from ram jhula this is the 2nd one, a person with choti will be seating at the entrance. the place looked the same as it was in 2011. we were two people and were hogging on the streets trying food so we were half full and still wanted to taste the maximum food.  
so ordered one deluxe thali -  which had 11 items in it and tasted the same as it used be. they serve pure vegetarian food which we use to have 10 years back when shahi paneer was not suppose to be sweet.

the place isgreatfor having some good north indian food. would definitely visit again in my next visit too.

one of my favorites in rishikesh. not only because of rates but also due togreatfood, good service, very scenic location by the ganges. they offer a wide variety of cousins from north indian to south indian. they also deliver food and their packing is better than domino's or pizza hut. one can try their special thali which is my favourite.

i have been here many times. this place hasgreatfood and at very reasonable price. they dont overcharge any food item. airconditioned seating is also available.

situated along side the river ganges it has a beautiful location. it's a really good restaurant withgreatfood and service too. one of the must try restaurant of rishikesh.
