food you cannot eat. service which is pathetic. what worst can it be. never recommend this place. weorderedfood what we get is spices

i will highly not recommend to eat here.
- we went to chotiwala by the ganges.
- weorderedour food and not able to finish it because of multiple reason.
like first we did not get the food which we have ordered. second food was so spicy that we could not able to finish it.
- weorderedcold coffee with ice cream taste was good but as per price the quantity was less.
- i would say that they are ruining the renowned chotiwala name.
- waiters are ignorant.
- view is nice from restaurant.
- as compare to their price food quantity is very less.

the absolute worst food we could have expected. would have been better to dine at a small dhaba instead of such a famous place like this.ordereddal makhni and paneer butter masala, both of which we really of the most inferior quality. pricing is high due to the name of this place but that's about it. just the name of this restaurant is what's left, not what it build up it's name by.

food was surprisingly tasty. i ate like a boar even though i had had a buffet breakfast in one of the hotels.ordereda deluxe thali and a plate of kadhi chawal. all the items kn the thali were cent percent on taste.what i did not like was the warmth and the service which i remembered as a kid.

i was very much amazed by the quality of the food that the chotiwala serves. we hadorderedpunjabi thali and one punjabi naan and one aalu pyaj paratha all the food was very nice in taste and the chola were awesome in test the rates were very reasonable which makes it a perfect place for family outing

decent north indian food. but whenorderedfor idli, super cold idli was served after 20 minutes if waiting. staff behavior is also very ok. service is again very ok. i guess the only decent place serving good north indian food hence the hype. if interested in eating indian, try this place.

vegetarian food review~~

if you are in rishikesh, you gotta try the oldest restraunt located near laxman jhula. one unique thing about the place is a person who is dressed like a pandit with a choti as the name suggests and greets people entering the place for a nice meal.

we were actually full when we went to chotiwalabut also wanted to try out something so weorderedpav bhaji, veg biryani and butter milk for dinner.the food was overall good, being from hyderabad i have all rights to judge the biryani but to my surprise it was good though it is made with pulao like flavours, the whole dish still came out well with the spices properly managed. the pav bhaji was delicious and the bhaji was good and with the onion slices it was amazing. the butter milk were good too.

the service is good, the place has ground floor with local restraunt sitting while the upper floor is ac restraunt with proper dining experience. the crowd was so so. there are 2 choti wala adjacent to each other, make sure you go to the oldest one. the price is economical and fits in the pocket.

overall my first time in rishikesh was full of good feels and good food. try this place once for sure.

after a beautiful little tired journey of neelkanth mahadev we found this place near ramjhoola taxi stand
weorderedfor 2 masala dosa and one special thali , dosa was tasty , special thali was average except gulab jamun because that was hot & testy we get a small bottle water with thali, 4 tawa butter roti,dal makhni,mix veg ,kadi,jeera rice, potato chips, and superb gulab jamun,
but i was disappointed when i asked for some onion that was extra chargeable, and iorderedfor one tawa roti that was also late, i think there were short of staff

chotiwala is very famous veg restaurant but there are two by same name ?

weorderedfood from the very famous chotiwala and the food was really good. weorderedpaneer paratha, noodles and dal makhni. we were surprised by the quantity of dal makhni. it was very tasty and worth it.

well we visited rishikesh yesterday. and i went to famous chotiwala restaurant near ram jhula. it serves good food. i tried dal makhani and kadhai paneer. you can take choice of combo to butter naan or tawa roti in main course. i also tried masala dosa. mustorderedthe special lassi or butter milk (chaas), with it the meal cannot end. must visit. overall

very bed iorderedsome food yesterday evening at 7 pm and they say your order will be delivered with in half hour but did,nt came so i call again and again and they answer the same it will b happen till 10 pm very bed don't order and it's my big mistake i paid by card at the time of order . and there is no option to call and help.

given the dearth of good restraunts in rishikesh this one scores well above average. this is usually crowded and the service is little slow. weorderedhoney chilly potato for starters and it wasn't disappointing. we tried paneer tikka masala and dal tadka for dinner. paneer was well cooked and the dal was mediocre. overall, given the convenient location and dearth of good restraunts this a good option for family to try vegetarian food. the food is decent and average.

located at the heartland of rishikesh, near ram jhula, is a famous restaurant of chotiwala. the uncanny name is based on a character who is seated at the gate of the restaurant with a long "choti" going against the gravity. iorderedtomato soup which was one of the best i have had since a long time. chola bhatura and dosa were above average. over all a good place to try on your next visit to rishikesh.

taste is not good everytime iorderedfood from your site its always tasteless sorry bad experience everytime.need an improve in taste its not good
