as the dreamy state of the approaching sunset takes over the consciousness, the view from the yas plaza hotels soothes the soul and tempers the spirit. in fact, it is the busiest time for thegoodpeople at choices & rangoli, as they rush to put the finishing touches on their main iftar dinner event – remarkably, the venue covers both restaurants and the pool area, and the choices of seating is fantastic!

tried the weekend fire and spice brunch ....a delectable spread which swing your taste buds to all the parts of the world.
personally preferred all the mutton dishes (esp lamb kashkash). mutton korma and dal makhni weregoodalong with steamy hot-n-crispy garlic naans.
salads we're nice and fresh along with the breads and cheese varieties.
the plain simple lentil soup deserves a mention as well along with the sushis 🍣.
keeping an appetite for deserts is strictly recommended 🤩. the apple crumble is a must try along with choux (with chocolate filling) and the cotton candy brings out the kid in every one for sure.
a very special mention for mr.abhinaav who made sure that we enjoyed our time at the brunch. his suggestions were spot-on and we look forward to going back there again. keep it up team choices 👍🏼🎯

i had iftar dinner last week. chicken and beef dishes were good. salad items are excellent. sweets and snacks section also good. mutton and fish dishes were average. fresh juices not found. not much selection of juices.

this restaurant is a great place to enjoy lunch, they have verygoodfood, and quality buffet, everything in buffet is agoodtaste andgoodquality food, service is nice, and overall verygoodrestaurant

amazing iftar with friends last night. huge selection of food and especially the sweets, yummy. it was a bit crowded though but that’s definitely agoodsign, will definitely go back and they told us they have brunch on friday so we will give it a try hopefully soon. keep it up!

we were there a while ago on saturday. the food was pretty good, staff was okay. the selection was okay too. i have nothing more to say. it wasgoodbut not exceptional.

envoirnment isgoodfood is average, not so much varieties in food drinks are also limited, didnt find tea and coffee in iftar and its too much crowdy too staff is too much busy anyways overall exp is average.

went for an international dinner buffet here on a weekday with a 2 for 1 toad voucher, and cost aed114 with water, juice, soft drinks with the option to upgrade for an additional 40 bucks that adds the live station and grill. however, we chose not to upgrade since they only had grilled chicken and beef tenderloin.

the ambiance of the place is nice, you have 'choices' of seating available. an initial survey revealed plenty of 'choices' from the buffet as well. we loved the salads - mussles, mixed seafood salad, thai chicken salad to name a few, and we kept coming back for more. the mains though varied, there wasn't really anything that kept us coming back for seconds, the lamb biriyani and the kofta seemed to be the better of the lot. the desserts also were a bit of a miss, and really didn't do too well to finish off on agoodnote.

i guess this place needs to do what they used to do best, stick to 'choices' with focus on quality than quantity. you can give the weekday buffet a pass and go for the thursday seafood buffet, or the friday brunch and dinner as recommended by others and the restaurant.

we stayed at the rotana for 3 nights and had breakfast for 3 days. reallygoodambiance andgoodvariety for a sumptuous breakfast. staff were polite and courteous.goodvariety in breakfast with fruit bread and hot food. there was also an omelette station which makes it all the more better. lovely coffee.

we had dined here for breakfast during our staycation. the restaurant was crowded for a weekday but the service was pretty quick. there was enough variety in the breakfast buffet and they also had a kids buffet corner with a selection for kids too, which was pretty impressive. overall it wasgoodbut they could make their service better.

we went for the dinner buffet as it was our son's 10th birthday. it was a working night (tuesday) and yet the restaurant had quite few tables occupied.

our son enjoys agoodprank, so we requested the restaurant to provide us with a trick cake. emily (restaurant reception staff) put us in touch with the chef who promptly contacted us and kindly obliged.

on the night, the staff discreetly checked with me when to bring out the cake and hence my son was quite surprised and excited to see a cake.

i expected a basic trick cake however chef arranged an elaborate cake that even my husband thought it was the real one. the serving crew also played along with the trick cake charade and my son thoroughly enjoyed the prank and even more the actual delicious chocolate birthday cake.

the customer service provided by the staff right from reservation to billing was great. the wait staff (miko) was quite attentive and promptly cleared our table after each course.

the buffet however was quite basic but was okay for the cost of 120dhs per adult inclusive of soft drinks and all taxes. there was a fair selection of salads, cold mezze, main dishes and desserts. the dishes should definitely be reviewed as it needs a fair bit of improvement with regards to its taste. the lamb biryani and beef stir fry were the only dishes that stood out.

the decor wasgoodhowever the chairs were quite heavy and hence quite tricky to move.

overall it was a great evening for us especially our son but it would have been even better if the food matched the service provided.

visited choices for an iftar buffet and it was great.goodselection of food, the mandi was just awesome. the ambiance and attention from staff was amazing. very comfy sofa-style chairs and we got a big round table for the whole family. juices and drinks included in the buffet which is a big plus.

excellent value for money. this buffet is much better than some of the premium priced buffets out there. will certainly visit again!

went for break fast.. hadgoodspread...service was spot on...choices of morning bakery were limited, but overall it was alright. i am a breakfast person, did not click with my mood...as i am unable to point finger at the missing element..and as family loved the breakfast, hence this rating...

the place isgoodand very courteous staff but not too many dishes and the variety of food is very less ... price is high as compared to the number of dishes served ...

a delicious start of the day, the food wasgoodand quality was not compromised. i was a walk-in customer with my family and restaurant was quiet busy, i was greeted by avie, she managed to arrange me a table in no time, ambiance is comfy and staff was helpful and offersgoodcustomer service. the best part of this restaurant was the egg counter, where you can customize it according to your taste palette, for me and my family, the variety of dishes was just fine, but the addition of fresh juices and improved coffee menu would be great.
