choices - yas island rotana

tried the weekend fire and spicebrunch....a delectable spread which swing your taste buds to all the parts of the world.
personally preferred all the mutton dishes (esp lamb kashkash). mutton korma and dal makhni were good along with steamy hot-n-crispy garlic naans.
salads we're nice and fresh along with the breads and cheese varieties.
the plain simple lentil soup deserves a mention as well along with the sushis 🍣.
keeping an appetite for deserts is strictly recommended 🤩. the apple crumble is a must try along with choux (with chocolate filling) and the cotton candy brings out the kid in every one for sure.
a very special mention for mr.abhinaav who made sure that we enjoyed our time at the brunch. his suggestions were spot-on and we look forward to going back there again. keep it up team choices 👍🏼🎯

amazing iftar with friends last night. huge selection of food and especially the sweets, yummy. it was a bit crowded though but that’s definitely a good sign, will definitely go back and they told us they havebrunchon friday so we will give it a try hopefully soon. keep it up!

went for an international dinner buffet here on a weekday with a 2 for 1 toad voucher, and cost aed114 with water, juice, soft drinks with the option to upgrade for an additional 40 bucks that adds the live station and grill. however, we chose not to upgrade since they only had grilled chicken and beef tenderloin.

the ambiance of the place is nice, you have 'choices' of seating available. an initial survey revealed plenty of 'choices' from the buffet as well. we loved the salads - mussles, mixed seafood salad, thai chicken salad to name a few, and we kept coming back for more. the mains though varied, there wasn't really anything that kept us coming back for seconds, the lamb biriyani and the kofta seemed to be the better of the lot. the desserts also were a bit of a miss, and really didn't do too well to finish off on a good note.

i guess this place needs to do what they used to do best, stick to 'choices' with focus on quality than quantity. you can give the weekday buffet a pass and go for the thursday seafood buffet, or the fridaybrunchand dinner as recommended by others and the restaurant.

visited this place forbrunchwith my friends.. loved the vibe.. food was amaing.. music and overall sevice was appreciable..

i turned up at thebrunchand was met by a rude member of staff who gave nothing but bad attitude throughout the brunch. i then waited about 20 minutes to be served and i received my first drink at 1pm even though thebrunchstarted at 12.3p. i had to go and take the knives and forks from the other table just to have enough cutlery for the group i was with. every time i wanted a drink i ended up walking through the whole restaurant trying to find staff to serve me. even after that i ended up waiting 5 minutes for the drinks to turn up. i then found out at the end of thebrunchthat i was able to go to the curry house next door and take food from there, this was about half an hour before thebrunchactually ended. thebrunchwasn't worth the price i paid. i've been to better ones for half the price.

review of the fire and spicebrunchat choices and rangoli: the food options are good in taste, with a middle eastern starters section, a pan asian mains section and of course the indian food of rangoli, which i enjoyed the most during the afternoon. i would recommend sitting outside, as the pool area has a nice vibe. inside the choices restaurant the ambiance felt not much like a brunch, more like during a middle of the week breakfast. with that in mind i recommend this brunch

used to go for the fridaybrunchand dinner buffet years back and it was always incredible.
went there recently for the dinner buffet on thurseday for a friend birthday as it was sea food night
unfortunately it was dissapoibtment. there was no live cooking as we expected. and no much variety of sea food.
however food quality was good. but honestly will not go there again.

the all-day dining restaurant for the hotel, set beside the pool which gives it a nice sunny ambiance. we have tried their fridaybrunchand its generally okay. nothing too special but not that bad either for the price, good value actually. loved their desserts section, it was extensive. and they have arabic specialties which can be good for tourists.

they used to have arabian night on saturdays,but unlucky us coz they changed it to sea food night
