a bit pricey, but ok. there's only so much you can do with mexicanfoodand this is effectively just an expensive mexican restaurant. my chicken dish was basically a chicken tortilla (for $36) and my wife's salmon dish, whilst quite nice, at $44 is possibly the most expensive main course i've ever had to pay for.
food is generally nice (if you like chicken tortillas), service was good, but i have to say, it is expensive

pricey. while thefoodis more creative than chili's, i do not agree with the reviewers that have the opinion thefoodis amazing. some dishes are better than others - the spare ribs probably being one of their best dishes. trout fajitas had really tasty trout, but typical fajita "condiments". for the price i was expecting something really creative. everything from drinks to appetizers to the main course dishes are overpriced, and the culinary creativity may be lacking, or just not successful. park city restaurants are known for being pricy, and chimayo is another pc place that doesn't deliver as promised.

a rip off. chimayo is not worth the money plain and simple. in addition to the $44 entrees being only so so, the restaurant was very cold with the front door continually being opened and the service was definitely what you would expect for a $$$$ restaurant. i sent back my chicken dish because it was cold and when they brought me a fresh plate thefoodwas still cold. honestly i was amazed at how crowded the place was considering all of the above.

delicious!. we stopped into chimayo in park city one night and had such a good meal, that we ate there every night of our trip.foodwas pricey, but exceptional. everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection.

it was so good, that we are now not only excited for our annual trip for park city for skiing, but also for our dinner at chimayo.

yum yum!. i ate a few appetizers here including the chile relleno, cerviche, and elk skewers. it was ll just fantastic! it is on the pricey end but is well worth it if goodfoodis what you are looking for! portions are small fso feel free to try all the spps and pick an entree if you have a good appetite. went to shabu after hitting chimayo and was sad top compare.

one of the places to try.... yes.. it is on the high side.. but it is one of the more interesting places to eat, with well preparedfood& good service.
the ahi tower is a great starter... trout entree is very popular.. but the rib crown roast is tops!
reservations early may not be necessary, but once it fills up (and it does so quickly), they are very useful.

very pricey but the bestfoodi have ever tasted! went there for my birthday and was treated like a queen! my favoritefoodwas the ribs. oh my god were they good! and i also enjoyed the elk and trout. the apitizers were good and the chef was very nice and gave us a free apitizer. overall i loved the place! i wish i could eat there everynight! and the setting is very nice and cozy.

25 cents for a wine tasting. are you kidding me? automatic 20% tip for a party of 6 which was slow service. very goodfoodbut overpriced. 33 dollars for vegetarian enchiladas.

best in park city!. all thefoodis top notch, environment is beautiful and cozy and the dip they give you with bread when you arrive is probably the greatest thing ever. i could eat it all day! it's pricey, so it's great for a celebration or special night out.

fantastic!. this is one of my top ten dining memories from a business trip. thefoodwas plated well and had excellent flavor. the decor had a modern western feel without trying too hard. be sure to get an appetizer and/or dessert and an after dinner drink to extract as much enjoyment from your visit.

great food, poor experience.foodmade the experience worth talking about. service was poor at best. we were told it was a 45 minute wait and ended up waiting more than an hour and fifteen minutes for our table. we had a great meal but we were seated next to the door requiring us to dine with our winter jackets and hats on. it took the kitchen 15 minutes to clean a mug for hot tea and the kitchen neglected a request for dressing to be placed on the side. its just odd to me when you are expecting a high quality dining experience and are met with poor service and an excellent meal. maybe it was an off night?
