it was okay, nothing to rave about though... butter chicken was way too tomatoey and not creamy enough. decent naan bread which was nice but still no where near asgoodas maharajas!!!

too much aginomoto ...... i would rather call restaurant as aginomoto specialist !!!! rubbish and waste !!! yes service isgoodbut food ....

great wholesome and comforting food. great service too as the owners are very friendly! this little restaurant is always on my list of top takeaways! i especially love their indochinese dishes and the chicken saag is amazing! it's a small restaurant but a verygoodone. =)

it's a verygoodindian restaurant, that serves authentic indian food. not really close to the city, but worth the journey, if you like some authentic indian food. price is very affordable, the decor of the restaurant very simple not too flash. very nice place to catch up with friends and family.

for agoodindian food if you are in wellington, this is a place which you can choose with out second opinion. especially the biryanis and naans are apt for our liking.

every time my wife and i visit we are welcomed by the lovely people that work here.through my work some years ago i met shankar who was a customer of my company.
since then he and urvi (his wife) have welcomed us many times to their restaurant and have given us the very best in hospitality and beautiful food.
they have becomegoodfriends and that is a big part of why we keep coming back.
nothing is too much trouble and the quality of the food is always of the highest standard.
they have worked hard and their success can be measured by the number of happy customers 7 days per week.
we will contour to support chilli masala for many years.
it truely is “ fine dining at a reasonable price”

i was really impressed with the friendly + prompt service as well as the high quality of veg and non veg curry dishes 🍛. my personal favourites was the fish masala 🐟 and chicken tikka masala 🐔. each curry was tasty, well spiced, and havegoodportions of boneless meat.

the chilli cheese naan was a family favourite as well. you can really taste the cheese and chilli and was well portions to the amount of naan bread.

if you want great indian food outside the wellington cbd, should definitely check this place out and drive down to lower hutt 🙃

love this place. highly recommended. have been there so many times and it never disappoints us.
went there on a sat and ordered butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, lamb madras, lamb korma and a tandoori chicken. i have tried other tandoori chicken before and i did not like it as it was blend. the tandoori chicken was well seasoned and tender. it goes well with the cucumber yogurt dip. 
definitely one of the best indian restaurants i have been to. almost all my indian friends love this place as well. you know an indian restaurant isgoodwhen it's recommended by indians right!

🍛fish masala - it tastes amazing! with its special spices, it has a mild touch of chili flavor but strong and lingering tastes of fine curry.
🍛vegetable jaipuri - i ordered hot and it is truly hot🔥but it goes perfect with naans and rice! finished them all without guilt.
🍛service - staffs are friendly and nice. but you need to wait at least 20 minutes to be fed. prompt service of offering water. by the way it’s a reallygoodplace for vegetarians.
🍛my husband’s friend (a native indian) highly recommended this place and it seems his favorite restaurant in wellington. worth a visit if you like indian food!

lived in wellington for 25 years and this is the best indian the city has. hands down. awesome service and food everytime -goodtip is to order in advance for lunch and they'll reserve a table for you

we always go here for lunch because dinner time it gets really busy n food doesn’t taste the way it suppose to be anyways
we went with my family
food wegoodbut we wanted to try masala chai the person behind the counter said they can’t make it so we asked why as we were the one in the restaurant left he said we about to close but it was only 12pm something.
so we pay n went away then we saw dad got over charged. we really disappointed with the service.
but food at lunch time they make is really nice.

food isgoodsome of the best indian food i have ever had but by far the worst customer service i have experienced the owners are extremely rude and don’t know a thing about customer service if it came and hit them in the face i would recommend just take aways if that the customer service is letting down the business. theres a response from their management down below just showing what it’s like

good indian food. cheapgoodlunch deals. and they deliver too! we had curry lunches organised at our work place ever now and then. they take a long time to cook the food though so you have to order ahead of time. its the same when eating in the restaurant but its worth the wait. for takeaways better to call them first for your order, then drive to supermarket to buy drinks, then pick up the food. i recommend their biryani.

ordered a banquet for two of us at 35pp, we were slightly afraid it would be too much and would have to takeaway left overs. to our dismay we didn't have enough to fill us up. included two pieces of 4 entrees all of which were average. then had 3 curries to share which were very small serves and two of which were average and bland however the goat curry was exceptional. we finished with desert which was nice but too sweet for me. service wasgoodbut for 70$ and not even filling us up was quite disappointed. i would go back but would never order a banquet or reccomend to anyone. better off to order seperate curries. i have had before and food was amazing but not sure what happened this time but the taste was a big disappointment to what i've had previously.

honestly loved it! very busy but excellent service. took a little while to get our food but they were very very busy. the hosts and staff were amazing. the food was brilliant. price vs quality is also verygood☺
