i use chilli masala as my regular takeaway because, because i am a business owner, sometime get busy, no time to cook but i can still have my indian food at the taste i want, you ask how you like they will make it for you the way you like, so, you will never be disappointed. i like the dishes they make for us as nice and spicy as we like, i give them a time to pick up and it's nice and hot just from the cooker, i will specially recommend to try their garlic nan my favourite from this place

it was okay, nothing to rave about though... butter chicken was way too tomatoey and not creamy enough. decent naan bread which was nice but still no where near as good as maharajas!!!

too much aginomoto ...... i would rather call restaurant as aginomoto specialist !!!! rubbish and waste !!! yes service is good but food ....

now this is what i call an outstanding restaurant with the very professional service.food is the best in town.cant compare their meal with anyone.no one matches their standards.highly recommended.

yum yum yum!!! the best curry ever!! we love this place! have tried lots of different things on the menu and they are all great! wonderful to eat in or takeaways. great food and great service!

great wholesome and comforting food. great service too as the owners are very friendly! this little restaurant is always on my list of top takeaways! i especially love their indochinese dishes and the chicken saag is amazing! it's a small restaurant but a very good one. =)

it's a very good indian restaurant, that serves authentic indian food. not really close to the city, but worth the journey, if you like some authentic indian food. price is very affordable, the decor of the restaurant very simple not too flash. very nice place to catch up with friends and family.

for a good indian food if you are in wellington, this is a place which you can choose with out second opinion. especially the biryanis and naans are apt for our liking.

good food and music but terrible customer service. after entree arrived the waitress continuously nagged us about ordering the mains while we were clearly eating starters. came up to the table 4-5 times to ask which became very frustrating. after starters were done, waitress took half the plates, went to another table and took 10 minutes to come back to take the rest of the plates.

my friends and i go here on a regular basis for lunch and it is simply delicious. lamb is always tender and the naan is amazing. staff are friendly, restaurant is lovely and the lunch special is very well-priced. highly recommended.

every time my wife and i visit we are welcomed by the lovely people that work here.through my work some years ago i met shankar who was a customer of my company.
since then he and urvi (his wife) have welcomed us many times to their restaurant and have given us the very best in hospitality and beautiful food.
they have become good friends and that is a big part of why we keep coming back.
nothing is too much trouble and the quality of the food is always of the highest standard.
they have worked hard and their success can be measured by the number of happy customers 7 days per week.
we will contour to support chilli masala for many years.
it truely is “ fine dining at a reasonable price”

chilli masala doesn't live up to it's name. no chilli, no masala!
the food was bland and completely tasteless. lacked salt and there was no spice added at all which is very disappointing because spice is a very big part of indian cuisine.
staff were not welcoming and seemed to hate their job (it showed on their faces)
food took over an hour to get to the table and that too only after we asked them how much longer it would take.
very disappointed with the price as well especially after seeing the quality of food and costumer service.
overall would not recommend.

online ordering was difficult and i couldn’t change the spice level of one of the dishes. the emailed receipt indicated it would be delivered as there was a shipping address and tracking. we had a call saying it would be here in 20-25 minutes and after waiting another 20 mins i call them only to find it was not going to be delivered as while they do deliveries, they don’t today. no apology on pickup. so disappointing as if i had known it wasn’t going to be delivered i would have gone elsewhere. the food itself? delicious. but this experience has put me off going back.

wow! wow!! wow!!! ordered a chicken fried rice takeaway.. one of the best fried rice
dishes i had in a while. very flavourful and
heaps in quantity !!!! would love to get food from here again!!!!

soo delicious, a must try if you are looking for curry in lower hutt. i had the butter chicken, never disappoints. very noisy and busy though so if you want a quiet atmosphere to talk, this might not be the right place :)
