i use chilli masala as my regular takeaway because, because i am a business owner, sometime get busy, no time to cook but i can still have my indianfoodat the taste i want, you ask how you like they will make it for you the way you like, so, you will never be disappointed. i like the dishes they make for us as nice and spicy as we like, i give them a time to pick up and it's nice and hot just from the cooker, i will specially recommend to try their garlic nan my favourite from this place

too much aginomoto ...... i would rather call restaurant as aginomoto specialist !!!! rubbish and waste !!! yes service is good butfood....

yum yum yum!!! the best curry ever!! we love this place! have tried lots of different things on the menu and they are all great! wonderful to eat in or takeaways. greatfoodand great service!

for a good indianfoodif you are in wellington, this is a place which you can choose with out second opinion. especially the biryanis and naans are apt for our liking.

goodfoodand music but terrible customer service. after entree arrived the waitress continuously nagged us about ordering the mains while we were clearly eating starters. came up to the table 4-5 times to ask which became very frustrating. after starters were done, waitress took half the plates, went to another table and took 10 minutes to come back to take the rest of the plates.

every time my wife and i visit we are welcomed by the lovely people that work here.through my work some years ago i met shankar who was a customer of my company.
since then he and urvi (his wife) have welcomed us many times to their restaurant and have given us the very best in hospitality and beautiful food.
they have become good friends and that is a big part of why we keep coming back.
nothing is too much trouble and the quality of thefoodis always of the highest standard.
they have worked hard and their success can be measured by the number of happy customers 7 days per week.
we will contour to support chilli masala for many years.
it truely is “ fine dining at a reasonable price”

chilli masala doesn't live up to it's name. no chilli, no masala!
thefoodwas bland and completely tasteless. lacked salt and there was no spice added at all which is very disappointing because spice is a very big part of indian cuisine.
staff were not welcoming and seemed to hate their job (it showed on their faces)
food took over an hour to get to the table and that too only after we asked them how much longer it would take.
very disappointed with the price as well especially after seeing the quality offoodand costumer service.
overall would not recommend.

online ordering was difficult and i couldn’t change the spice level of one of the dishes. the emailed receipt indicated it would be delivered as there was a shipping address and tracking. we had a call saying it would be here in 20-25 minutes and after waiting another 20 mins i call them only to find it was not going to be delivered as while they do deliveries, they don’t today. no apology on pickup. so disappointing as if i had known it wasn’t going to be delivered i would have gone elsewhere. thefooditself? delicious. but this experience has put me off going back.

wow! wow!! wow!!! ordered a chicken fried rice takeaway.. one of the best fried rice
dishes i had in a while. very flavourful and
heaps in quantity !!!! would love to getfoodfrom here again!!!!

i was really impressed with the friendly + prompt service as well as the high quality of veg and non veg curry dishes 🍛. my personal favourites was the fish masala 🐟 and chicken tikka masala 🐔. each curry was tasty, well spiced, and have good portions of boneless meat.

the chilli cheese naan was a family favourite as well. you can really taste the cheese and chilli and was well portions to the amount of naan bread.

if you want great indianfoodoutside the wellington cbd, should definitely check this place out and drive down to lower hutt 🙃

looking for perfect indo-chinese food? head into this place! they serve the best info-chinesefoodin town! chicken lollipops were crunchy and delicious. their goat curry is also one of their best dishes! highly recommended.

lived in wellington for 25 years and this is the best indian the city has. hands down. awesome service andfoodeverytime - good tip is to order in advance for lunch and they'll reserve a table for you

this is the go to place for lunch. foodhere is always delicious and as this is our go to place we have tried a lot of their dishes and all have always been on point.
