very good value for money and the fried chicken are hands down, really delicious. if you’re around the area during lunchtime, they do have options for rice sets that will only cost you $12.

chikoko rises from a humble family establishment to a well-known local eatery for korean fried chicken. chikoko is famous for crunchy chicken skin and juicy meat, and is a perfect combination with pickled radish and soju. the order takes time, but it is worth the wait. besides fried chicken, you can enjoy jumeokbap (seaweed rice balls), ramen with tteokbokki (rice cake), bibimbap (rice bowl), etc.

when chikoko first opened, the service used to be friendly and attentive. the chicken came with a very good portion and price. most importantly, the flavours were superior.

chikoko, a newly emerged egotistical celebrity, is now less likeable. the pricing increased but the food quality declined. suddenly portion was much more humble. on one occasion, we visited the restaurant at 8 pm and was informed by the staff that the kitchen would close in 15 minutes. as regulars, we ordered straight away after being seated at our tables, and to our surprise, that very same staff informed us that “the kitchen is now closed”. mind you, the closing time is 9 pm. honestly, if you cannot commit to doing business properly, then don’t bother accepting customers.

it used to be excellent, but now it is okay.

p.s. home delivery is available but cash only

great fried chicken. the chilli sauce made the great batter soggy quickly but it was so tasty. plus great service and the same prices as in the city (some suburban korean places jack up the prices).

the best place to come to if you’re looking for delicious and fresh korean fried chicken. the prices are cheap/reasonable for what you get. there’s a huge variety of other korean dishes too.

chicken is juicy, batter is light but super crunchy. ordered a bibimbap on the side and for $14, i expected the portion to be bigger than what arrived especially when it didn't come with protein (excluding the egg). overall very delicious meal, will definitely return especially when i live local 👌

forgot to take the picture of the chicken, but managed to get one for the dumpling. ordered chi koko fried chicken and sweet soy chicken. personally i prefer the chi koko fried chicken one, however it’s not that special compare to other places. the chicken was not too tasty, just basic fried chicken and the batter is thick. the sweet one is also just flat-sweet which is not something “wow”, maybe the soy one is better. i think even the dumpling is better than the chicken, i like how they put the bonito flakes on top of them. overall experience 3/5 but 2.5/5 for the chicken.

i've been here with my girl friend for lunch. we only ordered half of mad red koko but the portion was huge enough for 2 of us. i don't eat a lot of spicy food but this was not as spicy as the menu indicate. the chicken is crispy and juicy and the flavour is very authentic. highly recommend it to others.

got the tteokbokki (noodles and rice cakes) for only $13 and there was a rlly good amount, and half the sweet soy chicken for $19 where most places it’s around $22. (they serve their chicken with pickled radishes like most korean places) everything tastes amazing, highly recommended!!😍

really cozy shop, seating is really nice. i had the chikoko fried chicken, which was really crispy and well flavoured. along with it, i had basic ramen which was not very spicy for my taste and the flavour was very nice too :) great restaurant!!

this is a pretty good place for korean fried chicken in hurstville. we had the original fried chicken which was good (crispy batter and juicy chicken) and ramen which was okay as well (probably better to get it with cheese or rice cakes next time). happy to come back to try their other fried chicken flavours!!

i'm a major fan for fired  chicken, what  chi koko has to offer is just average at best. we ordered  the boneless  chicken  with chess , half chikoko fired chicken and chicken  with rice cake and sweet  chilli source .

all 3 chicken dish is a little  dry, batters are crispy  but thick and flavorless, there is no seasoning, my local  kfc can produce better  wicked wings.

left this place  feeling  unsatisfied and thinking they are overpriced
