the first time i came here i was with my camp and we came in and i ordered asavorycrepe with the salmon and capers and let me tell you it was delicious. 😋 the waitresses take forever and barely ask you what you would want. they always seem to be in a rush and are stuck up and look at you nasty. if you are new then i recommend trying thesavorycrepe which is extremely hard to find, and fill you up very fast. the sweet crepes are good! also if you are in a hurry then get the sweets but the macaroons are the most delicious. the decor is nice and comfortable. the menu that was not crepes looked enjoyable but the lobster soup or whatever it is called is the best.

great crepes! prices aren't cheap ($5.95-9.95 per crepe) but fully worth it. i like the #5 the best -- a wonderful balance of sweet (apples and fig compote) withsavory(brie, walnuts, and creme fraiche).

greatsavorycrepe. had thesavorychez elle crepe: sautéed mushrooms, tomatoes, chicken, pesto, spinach topped with mozzarella and marina sauce. my only disappointment was in not ordering a second crepe! it was outstanding. as in typical french fashion, expect a bit of a wait when dining here. it's worth it though.

the ambiance of this creperie is spot on: a small taste of france in kansas city's westside.

allright. i stopped by there yesterday for lunch and ordered the crepe with spinach, artichoke and cheese. it was allright, nothing exciting or terrible, although the price is pretty steep. i did like the building and the atmosphere but i think the cost of brining my family here and ordering asavorycrepe, a sweet crepe and a drink would be prohibitive. then again, i am french and know how little it costs to make a crepe and how easy it is so that's not very objective. i will probably return because i buy my bread a fervere across the street (that's an amazing place!) and i am happy to patronize a creperie in the kc area!

magnifique!!!. chez elle was the perfect spot for our girls' luncheon! we were able to enjoy the beautiful day with outside dining under umbrellas. we thoroughly enjoyed oursavorycrepes, and the dessert items that sounded too good to resist. the piece de resistance was the "au chocolat" !!!: chocolate crepes with an absolute 'to die for' chocolate mousse filling, topped with raspberry and chocolate sauces. i can't get back to kc soon enough!!!

if you're not in the mood for asavorycrepe, you can get a sweet crepe. kim decided on the paris which was nutella (oh hell yes!), bananas and whipped cream. just picture the crepe above with these ingredients in it. it was pretty rich and it was a little struggle getting through this sweet crepe, but it wa

tasty. i finally got around to hitting this place up for lunch and it was a nice lunch. i had asavorycrepe, then a sweet crepe with a double shot of espresso.

thesavorycrepe (the chez elle) was quite tasty. the sweet crepe (the au chocolat) was even better. and the espresso was sub par. i did drink it all, but it is not something i would order again.

all in all, it was a fine lunch on a beautiful day. i would say i enjoy westside local and lill's on 17th much better, but i will definitely come back, as a crepe is a nice change of pace.

try it...you'll love it!!. the food is delicious and atmosphere was delightful. under thesavorycrepes menu i had le jardin, with spinach, artichokes, sauteed mushrooms, caramelized onions, provolone cheese. the sweet crepe: citron, was delicious...it had lemon curd with strawberries and whipped cream in it. absolutely wonderful!!

tres magnifique!. sweet orsavoryit's a winner in both. find a better chocolate eclair in town-naploeon's-nah-i don't think so! chez elle is simply the chic-est place to see and be seen. wonderful nice eggy crepe batter done in so many delightful ways, we tried the chicken and asperagus with guyere and the toasted walnut with brie and fig. both were outstanding and the coffee is perfect. lounging on a sunday morning in the bright and cheery bistro like dining room was a wonderful way to start our day-yours too, try it!!! i'm going back for the crepe with cherries and ice cream next-c u there!
