we also went to chez elle and got crepes for dessert, they were so good! :)  here are some fun pics of what you will find down in kc's west bottoms vintage shopping district.  one of the reasons we got together was because ourgoodfriend kim came in town, she moved 2 years ago and we miss her so much! it was so fun to have a girls night, i think we al

magnifique!!!. chez elle was the perfect spot for our girls' luncheon! we were able to enjoy the beautiful day with outside dining under umbrellas. we thoroughly enjoyed our savory crepes, and the dessert items that sounded toogoodto resist. the piece de resistance was the "au chocolat" !!!: chocolate crepes with an absolute 'to die for' chocolate mousse filling, topped with raspberry and chocolate sauces. i can't get back to kc soon enough!!!

the real thing. amazing!. i've had crepes in france and usually have to settle for the americanized version here in the states. much to my delight, chez elle has the real thing. these are asgoodas any crepes in france. wonderful creations for either entrée or dessert. they even havegooddecaf coffee and espresso drinks. great staff and a fun comfortable space. i highly recommend this restaurant.
