...whoever owns thisplaceput some money into the décor; everything is new and inviting. there are quite a few stairs to climb to the entrance, but don't let that deter you if you have trouble with stairs, there is a ramp on the left side of the building.

i walked to thisplacethinking it was going to be expensive, but it was not. i took a look at their menu and instantly fell in love because they are a creperie (they also have wine!)! service was great & quick. the only reason i do not give it a 5 is because the table i was at was wobbly & could be fixed quickly by tightening the bolts. the food was great & i will definitely eat there again, soon.

delicious crepes, great atmosphere. this is one of my absolute favorite places to eat in kansas city . food is not only delicious, but beautiful as well. the atmosphere is relaxed and visually pleasing- walls feature art for sale, which i also like browsing. service is friendly and service is prompt- whether i am with a group of people or alone. i have tried many of the crepes and have found each to be a tasty treat. whenever i have friends visit kansas city, this is aplacei tell them they should visit.

tasty. i finally got around to hitting thisplaceup for lunch and it was a nice lunch. i had a savory crepe, then a sweet crepe with a double shot of espresso.

the savory crepe (the chez elle) was quite tasty. the sweet crepe (the au chocolat) was even better. and the espresso was sub par. i did drink it all, but it is not something i would order again.

all in all, it was a fine lunch on a beautiful day. i would say i enjoy westside local and lill's on 17th much better, but i will definitely come back, as a crepe is a nice change of pace.

another westside gem!. i and my breakfast partner ate here on sunday, february 28, 2010 at 9am.

there are 26 crepes listed on the menu (i'm sure you can come up with your own favorite concoction as well). in addition, the menu states that vegan, gluten free and buckwheat crepes are also available. other menu items available: greek, spinach and house salads; soup of the day; an assortment of house made pastries, smoothies and coffee.

this is a funplaceto eat and the crepes are very good. just what kc needed.

tres magnifique!. sweet or savory it's a winner in both. find a better chocolate eclair in town-naploeon's-nah-i don't think so! chez elle is simply the chic-estplaceto see and be seen. wonderful nice eggy crepe batter done in so many delightful ways, we tried the chicken and asperagus with guyere and the toasted walnut with brie and fig. both were outstanding and the coffee is perfect. lounging on a sunday morning in the bright and cheery bistro like dining room was a wonderful way to start our day-yours too, try it!!! i'm going back for the crepe with cherries and ice cream next-c u there!
