nice place - will return to the bar. dinner for four on saturday 1/22, very nice atmosphere - lighted menu's add a nice flair. waitstaffvery good. $200 for four guest a bit much, no desert, but a couple rounds of drinks which were very good. i had the shrimp stuffed avocado for appetizer - shrimp very good but stuffed in a half non-ripe avocado not edible. the waitstaffnoticed me struggling with trying to get the avocado and offered to get a new one, but i declined, but told the waitress "jo" it was not ripe. i guess i would have expected them to take the appetizer off the bill, but no.... and didn't ask, they should have as a courtesy! for dinner, i had the seared scallops with bacon and grits - not very impressed, scallops were medium size and expected thick slices of bacon as the menu suggested, not a piece i would typically have for breakfast. my wife had the ahi tuna which she enjoyed, although it came out cold. most enjoyment was after dinner in the bar area, great band playing, but very crowded with a small space - seems like a new happening night spot and will return for the bar scene.
