delicious food and excellent service!. delicious! if you're looking for arestaurantwith delicious food, a great neighborhood feel, a great location, live music and weekly specials...you can't beat chef's palette. it's rare to find arestaurantthat "has it all," but that's honestly what it has! from elegantly plated meals, a skilled wait-staff, wonderful $5 burger nights to taco tuesdays (our favorite!) - thisrestaurantis terrific. thank you chef's palette...we will definitely be back. :)

delicious and low carb!. enjoyed the delicious filet chefs special, last night. was shocked to see i could have a meal like this in arestaurantand remain low-carb! creamed cauliflower was fantastic! thank you!

we won't be back.. we tried chef's palette again for the second time and it will be our last. first, the average price of all dinner menu items is $25 per entree- not the $15 to $25 listed in urban spoon. second, their decorating scheme includes artwork that is for sale, and needless to say, it's been there a while. the drinks arrived 2/3 full with an excuse that they have changed their barware. doesn't make a good first impression. the scallop risotto was bland. the chicken francese arrived with plating that attempted to mimic a high endrestaurantbut failed miserably. it seemed to be missing the seasonal vegetables. chef's palette is a pretender trying to be a purveyor of good food. they only succeed in high prices. everything else is lacking.

late review. my bf and i came here for my 24th birthday. it's a little deceiving from the exterior, but therestaurantis beautifully decorated and the food is delicious. the menus have to be the coolest thing about this place: they light up! (see pictures) the service is amazing, as well. when my bf's steak was overcooked, the chef actually brought the steak back out to him to insure it was prepared just the way he wanted it. upon discovering that this was our first time here, the owner of chef's palette actually came and sat with us for a while, telling us about how she got started and what her future plans were for the restaurant. overall it was a wonderful night and birthday. can't wait to go back!

great food! great atmosphere! great service!. my wife and i came in last weekend for drinks and ended up dining in the bar. our waitress, lacy, was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. she helped us make some excellent choices on drinks and entrees. the food was simply delicious. the bar side of therestaurantwas lively and fun. we've been looking for a localrestaurantlike chef's palette for a while and we will definitely be back!

september 17, 2011 wedding & reception at chefs palette-amazing!. our wedding & reception was held at chef's palette on september 17. it was truly perfect. a special thanks go out to kathy and fletcher who did a spectacular job on the preparation, decor, food and drinks. i could not have imagined having my special day anywhere else. you are all amazing. the pork was delicious, the guests were happily tipsy (lol), the ambiance was perfect and to have been able to accommodate all of our guests was nothing short of a miracle! the rain didn't hinder a thing (at least it didn't appear like it did). i know you alll worked very hard to make this happen and we thank you so, so, so much!!! here's to the bestrestaurantin the triangle area!!
one more thing, the kids loved the chicken tenders and so did the adults!

inexcusable. made a reservation for a special wine flight dinner for my wife and i and another couple about 5 weeks in advance. show up at therestaurantonly to be told that the special dinner had been cancelled. when i asked why we had not been contacted i was told it was because i did not state in the reservation that it was for the special dinner. right, i make a reservation 5 weeks in advance for a regular night out. please!! lukewarm apology almost like it is my fault. and this is the manager i am talking here. so i can;t tell you about the food but i can tell you that this is a place that has no clue how to treat a costumer.

awesome!!!!. we are so happy that there is finally a fabulousrestaurantin sw wake county!! the atmosphere is beautiful, the staff exceptional, and the food... omg!!! chef rick is so talented! and i love the fact that it is "casual" fine dining! i highly recommend making a reservation, especially on friday and saturday nights. but even if you don't, the bar is so nice, that waiting for a table can be a pleasure, or you can eat in the bar & order from either menu!! fun, fun place! great food, great atmosphere, and great people! what more could you ask for?

gem of southern wake county. i have been going to thisrestauranton a regular basis since it opened. for those that wrote that the food was not good, all i have to say is that i hope you try it again because you are really missing out on some artistically great food. i am pleased that they have added even more dishes as well as a bigger bar menu. my favorite is the scallop dish that makes you want to lick the plate after. the staff is incredibly welcoming and always wanting to make sure your experience is a good one. best newrestaurantof southern wake county!

wonderful restaurant. i cannot imagine anyone complaining about thisrestaurantunless you're just one of those people who are never satisfied. the owner is extremely friendly. always coming around to the table to ask how your food is and to introduce herself. veery warm and welcoming. their appetizers are fantastic and compared to the previous owner (who was horrible) this place blows his place out of the water. the lounge area is perfect with comfortable couches and candles. their menu actually lights up. the weekends are great with the live entertainment they have. i'm very impressed and highly recommend chef's palette.

wow!restaurantis really pretty inside and was busy, which is a good sign. dinner was excellent! service too! glad to have a new place close to home.
