oh this place was great! i was a little shocked but i trusted my worldly friends opinion and she was spot on! the cheeseburger without the onions and mushrooms was divine! the drinks were good too. will def go back and the service was great! try the outside dining🌞

this is the most ratchet place in lexington. how it's in chevy chase area i don't know. the couches look as if the are a crabs haven. the place was dirty and smelled like out drunk men. well the 4 nasty ppl there. rude bartender kelly trash talking about myself i assume because i had appeared to have taken a bath. she needed to pay water an soap and toothbrush a visit. don't go there if you have any class. ratchet.com

know what it is before you. it’s an extremely casual place. somewhere to have a drink and unwind after a long day. the food is okay, but the atmosphere is fantastic, the service is just what you need after a long day and want some casual conversation and with a relaxed atmosphere and quality drinks

i review 3.5 for a reason.

i love the atmosphere. it so relaxed we mainly want here to spend time together and for the experience rather than the food. do not go in here expecting a fancy dinner. it's bar food with a coffee shop feel. we both had bacon burgers. it was good. fries were crispy and tasty. burgers were good although the meat patty could use some major spices. too big i couldn't finish it. but thank you toasting the bun. i hate cold soggy buns.

do not get the fried cheese. it's gross doesn't taste like cheese.

i would love for it to have some cool coffee options. was disappointed to get little sugar and non fresh creamer in a little packet. i think you could really draw some extra business here.

the server was very good and quick and she was such a sweetheart.
i will return for hangout night. great place to chill with friends for a few hours.

i think you could do a lot better with the food. very affordable though two burger meals and one soda no alcohol was 21 bucks plus tip not bad.

still great pub food. this old man been going to cbs since the 1970s. i take my 3 year old grandson to the patio outback and always have a great time. servers are family friendly as always. my only negative critique is that the chicken strips are pressed chicken not the real thing. my grandson likes to share my steak or burgers when we sit outback. we usually have a late lunch and all the food is great.

no bar?. eating at charlie brown's is like eating in an old english college library. weird. the hot pepper cheese bites are amazing. the beer prices (and especially mixed drink pitcher prices, i noticed) are fine. but where is the draft beer? that's crazy. i guess they know beer trappe across the street has that covered. oh well.

the burger was way over cooked. the meat was so dry it crumbled. the service was poor. we had the best out of the three who were working. the other two sat at the bar and yapped loudly, with their backs to the restaurant, paying no attention to their tables. i've been here many times. i love this joint. i hope tonight was just a bad night.

still good...... one of lexington's top 10 burgers for sure. i get it with lto and no mushrooms and onions.

wings are good and are the drummies with no flappers which certainly is to my taste. no breading and not overcooked. decent sauce.

decent fish sandwich though it's hard to screw up a frozen piece of fish dropped in a deep fryer.

the charm and the food are both still good.

great burgers, different atmosphere. ok, it's a really different place: dark. can barely read the menu. but, it's a really neat spot for drinks and some of the better burgers put on a plate. they cook them to order and medium keeps them very juicy. my black & blue burger had nice spice with a creamy salty blue cheese sauce. fries are real potatoes and good. the southwest burger was better without the salsa (we ordered it on the side and ended up not using it) as the flavors of the meat and cheese needed nothing else. there are no beers on draft, but they have a good bottle and can selection. cocktails seem popular. service is a little spotty. we were forgotten about twice as our server had a table outside and seemed to prefer it there. wouldn't keep me from going back though.

the burgers was the only thing enjoyable about this experience the ora of the place is depressing and the service is even worse you can't see a thing inside and when you come out outside its like heaven in your eyes bc of the sun which is way better than sitting inside the girl we had was not mean but didn't make us feel at all like we meant anything i had the bacon burger medium well and the bun had blood on it the soup was cold but the experience is horrible #restaurantimpossible should be called immediately

good and cheap. my boyfriend and i went there recently for a quick date. it was before the bar and nightlife was going so it was pretty quiet. the only complaint i really had was that it was darker than what i would have liked.....but it is a bar after all. the food was good and affordable. nothing fancy, straight to the point. : )

i stopped in for a quick bite as i was working on a monday night. very nice little pub with great atmosphere. i had a jerk chicken sandwich as recommended by another spooner. it was great as was the service. i like this little hole in the wall.
