great, but not for everyone. if you like lounging on a couch with friends, having a few beers this is a place for you. if you don't like the idea of going out to a restaurant just to eat your dinner on a couch, there are tables too. the food is good, the appetizers are more then enough if your not looking for a large meal, the service is good on most nights, and the drink list is varied, and not too expensive. so, if you just want to hang out with friends in a dimly light room without staying in, this is the place for you.

agree with others.. cozy atmosphere, good, inexpensive, pub-type comfort food.

no draft beer, but bottle selection is okay, and drink prices are good.

the patio is a favorite hangout during warmer months.

cozy atmosphere, comfort food. i personally love the dark & cozy dining area, it was a bit hard to read the menu in that type of lighting but once the food arrived it was good bar food. delicious hot wings and frosty beer.

imagine a 1500 sqft living room with carpet, sofas, jukebox, bookcases, fireplace everything just like a real living room. now add bar food and basic drinks and you have charlie browns! very average simple food and drinks but it's the cool decor that you come for. real big with the college crowd. lunch is best, later at night it can get kinda teenie bopper.

great hang-out - okay bar food. i don't really go to charlie brown's for the food... it's just a great place to hang out and have a drink. and for a drink is what i recommend that you go for.

if you're feeling munchy then i suggest the beer cheese appetizer. it hits the spot with whatever libation you may choose.

i love it!. charlie brown's has been one of my favorite spots to have lunch for years. a menu of 20 or so excellent hot sandwiches, daily specials and hot pepper cheese on every visit. try the bavarian alpine - a huge turkey sandwich.

this place is dark with plenty of couches to relax on. the jukebox is on free play and the walls are lined with books. the legends say there's a $100 bill in at least one of the books on the wall. i haven't found it yet.

my favorite seat is next to the fireplace.
