i review 3.5 for a reason.

i love the atmosphere. it so relaxed we mainly want here to spend time together and for the experience rather than the food. do not go in here expecting a fancy dinner. it's bar food with a coffee shop feel. we both had bacon burgers. it was good. fries were crispy and tasty. burgers were good although the meat patty could use some major spices. too big i couldn't finish it. but thank you toasting the bun. i hate cold soggy buns.

do not get the fried cheese. it's gross doesn't taste like cheese.

i would love for it to have some cool coffee options. was disappointed to get little sugar and non fresh creamer in a little packet. i think you could really draw some extra business here.

the server was very good and quick and she was such a sweetheart.
i will return for hangout night.greatplace to chill with friends for a few hours.

i think you could do a lot better with the food. very affordable though two burger meals and one soda no alcohol was 21 bucks plus tip not bad.

stillgreatpub food. this old man been going to cbs since the 1970s. i take my 3 year old grandson to the patio outback and always have agreattime. servers are family friendly as always. my only negative critique is that the chicken strips are pressed chicken not the real thing. my grandson likes to share my steak or burgers when we sit outback. we usually have a late lunch and all the food is great.

i stopped in for a quick bite as i was working on a monday night. very nice little pub withgreatatmosphere. i had a jerk chicken sandwich as recommended by another spooner. it wasgreatas was the service. i like this little hole in the wall.

very dark inside, no windows, but once your eyes adjust, you'll be ready for thegreatfood. had the carribean jerk chicken and patty melt. perfect. will definitely return.

i've been going to cb's since college. fantastic mix of people,greatatmosphere & good food at reasonable prices.greatdate night spot or carry out for lunch. if you haven't tried it, you are missing out.

atmosphere has made cb's what it is today. what charlie brown's is:
dimly lit
a fun place you can forgo a table to sit on a couch or a nicely heated patio
inexpensive
agreatplace for cheap dates or hanging out with friends
a place to hear a good classic rock jukebox
a lexington institution

what charlie brown's is not:
the place you'll have the best sandwich in your life.
a place you'll find consistent service. i always seem to see new servers there. i've had really bad servers a couple times there, but generally the service is good.
a place to eat healthy or vegetarian

great hang-out - okay bar food. i don't really go to charlie brown's for the food... it's just agreatplace to hang out and have a drink. and for a drink is what i recommend that you go for.

if you're feeling munchy then i suggest the beer cheese appetizer. it hits the spot with whatever libation you may choose.
