we decided to go here for dinner because we had a gift certificate fromrestaurantdot com, which this business subscribed to, to attract new customers with a discount incentive. i purchased the certificate awhile ago, and wanted to make sure it was still valid at this establishment, so i checked the validity of the certificate on therestaurantdot com website. still valid. so i made plans to go there. we ordered dinner salads and pizza. total bill was $50. a little high, but the certificate was for $25 with $35 minimum purchase, which made it worth it.
when we got the bill, i handed the waitress our certificate, and she immediately stated they do not honor or accept these anymore. she told me there was a sign on the door, and was surprised we did not see it.
i was disappointed, due to ordering to meet minimum requirement, which now doesn't apply, and figured we must have missed something on the door and/orrestaurantdot com website, notating validity of certificate. wrong on both accounts! we checked therestaurantfor signs telling patrons that the certificates were no longer accepted, and therestaurantdot com website and there was no sign on any doors or windows, and no invalid certificate message on site. the waitress flat-out lied to us, and would not honor it. poor customer service!!!! we still tipped well, because she did a decent job of serving our table, and we are decent people, but we will never come back, and will tell friends and family not to come here either. i hope the owner sees this and makes it right. i will adjust my review accordingly if they fix this and honor the certificate i spent money on for their restaurant.

great food and service. every time i come to cenci's the food is excellent! my favorite is the steak onion ranch pizza... never had anything like it. they always have good specials at the bar and they are able to be used in the dining room as well. this is also the onlyrestaurantaround that offers the entire menu until 2am! i work late so its nice to know i don't have to get fast food or eat junk late at night. i can get a real meal anytime. put this on your "must try" list for sure.

best alfredo sauce ever!!. i never write reviews for anyrestauranthowever it is necessary to spread the word on cenci's alfredo sauce.
the hubby and i eat out often, everywhere in pittsburgh and surrounding however we live in the north hills.the pasta with alfredo & shrimp is the absolute best in western pa. i guarantee that if you enjoy a wonderful home made alfredo sauce, cenci's is the place to go :) also had the ceasar salad which was very good and previously had the antipastata salad which was quite good as well. the atmosphere is fun, energetic, and relaxing. the staff is friendly and polite. it's great to have a localrestaurant/ bar with good food! i'm hoping that the owner will someday consider jarring his alfredo sauce for all to enjoy. thanks cenci's!!

pleasant experience. was in cenci's this past weekend on saturday. after not having been in there for a while, i was very impressed with the improvement of both the service and the food. ate dinner in the dining room with family and ended up hanging out at the bar afterwards with a friend. waitress always had a smile on her face and was very attentive, never felt like an annoyance. food came out fast and tasted really fresh. the menu has alot to choose from. very rare everyone in my family finds something they like at a restaurant. portion sizes were great leaving us with leftovers for lunch the next day. bar has a ton to choose from and was surprised to see the amount of seasonal beers in stock. staff was just as pleasant at the bar. all in all, i had a great experience at cenci's and won't let as much time pass between visits again.
oh, and did i mention that i've never been to arestaurantwhere both the bartenders and waitresses are all exceptionally good looking? just an added bonus- that's one lucky manager

decent food, poor service.... i ordered from thisrestauranttoday and was pretty unhappy with the service. first the driver got lost on his way to my location. not usually a big deal, but stacked up with all the other annoyances it deserves a mention. then when he arrived, i found that i had been charged about four dollars more than i'd expected. i called therestaurantand was informed that not only were their prices significantly higher than on the menu but there is also a $2 delivery charge, which is listed nowhere on their menu online, their web site (which they claimed to have no knowledge of), or their physical menu that they included with the delivery.

the food is decent but not worth $15 for a half hoagie and some jalapeno poppers. if my workplace had a microwave i could make a comparable meal for around $5.

basically, if you're eating on a budget and can't afford to pay a lot more than you expect... you should probably avoid cenci's.

da shizzzzz. this place is fantastic. the food is good. the atmosphere is fun. the tv set up is stellar. and the patrons are top class.

tuesday night they host 'team trivia' - with prizes! this is always a fun night. whether you are in the bar orrestaurant- you can play.

for all penguins games (on tv), they offer $1 shots after each penguin goal. can't beat it!

greg k. is probably the best looking employee on their staff. if he were any sexier - it'd be illegal.

not so good tonight. we've gotten take out pizza's from cenci's, probably 4 or 5 times in the past 6 months. we've also had drinks there on a number of occassions. generally pretty good and the bar staff is awesome. as to the dining room, i'm not sure if they've changed cooks or waitstaff but tonight was very disappointing. dining area was a bit on the dirty side. waitress was very nice but perhaps inexperienced? forgot to bring the salad and didn't warn us that the calamari is different from what is pictured in the menu. and i agree with another writer who thought the pasta sauce was tomato paste straight from the can. i'll probably continue with the take-out pizza but skip dining in therestaurantin the future.

unhappy customer!!!. my nieces raved about the pizza. so, my sister and i with my one niece decided to go there. first we had decided to do take-out but changed our minds to eat in. this some how annoyed the waitress. she didn't ask for our drink order and anything else for 10 minutes after we sat down and she only had 4 tables including us. then when our pizzas came out she just slid them at us and walked away. the one had a burnt crust and no cheese on it. my niece and i tried it anyway and it was very saucey and very unappetizing. the other was on the fry side. she never refilled our drinks and only once came by to check on us and that was a quick everything ok ok and walked away before we could really say anything. when i did get to tell about the pizza she argued with me that it wasn't burnt! my sister went and told the owner and he told the waitress to take the pizza off our bill. she didn't take the whole price off. my sister decided not to give her a tip because the service was awful!! as we were getting into the car she came to the door and said thanks a lot. i worked in arestaurantfor 11 years that was her way of telling us "f" off. also while we were there another customer had to take his sandwich up to the bar because something was wrong with it.

great wexford restaurant. i just love this place. the owners are very friendly and can be seen working throughout therestaurantto assist their staff and also socializing with their patrons.
the regular and speciality pizza's are delicious. the salas and wings are yummy!!

amazingly delicious. ever since we started going to cenci's, this is our favorite italianrestaurantin the area and we love our italian. my favorites are the pizza, subs (esp. chicken parmesean and italian), puffs, cheese fries, all kinds of pastas.

i loved cenci's so much that we had them cater our wedding for 160 people in may of 2010. we even had a wedding pizza instead of a wedding cake.

cenci's does a great job: great food, excellent service and a great atmosphere.

i would eat at cenci's anyday of the week!
