reasonably priced gem in an otherwise overhyped/overpriced area of allegheny county. i have been going to censi's regularly for about a year now and have never been let down. their service is fantastic, even when the place is busy. the owner is approachable and usually on the floor overseeing various aspects of the restaurant. you can tell the staff genuinely care about their business. the waitresses have always been aware of the specials and can often recommend a great seasonal beer! their beer list is quite extensive and changes regularly. i love that they have a complete bottle and draft list available upon request. the beers are reasonably priced and they have various specials throughout the week. the food has always been great. i've tried many of the appetizers, my staples being the fried zucchini and puffs. the fried zucchini is always crisp and never to greasy. i believe their pizza to be excellent. the crust is thin but soft with a tangy, almost sweet sauce. the flavor is not overpowered by the cheese and every extra ingredient stands out on its own. i also enjoy the wings. they are cooked well, crispy, yet juicy. i prefer the hot. they have all the standard flavors but dare i say, could use some more, or maybe even a signature censi's flavor! if you’re on a budget,cenci'sis on groupon and offers daily food specials. i personally take advantage of tuesdays pizza special, along with wednesdays wing special. the atmosphere is relaxed, the musics at a reasonable volume and there are plenty of tv to allow one to keep up with the sports of the day. i look forward to the renovations being completed and a return of the tap system. hopefully even more craft beers will be offered! keep up the good work! 8/10.
(side note: i wish their bar trivia actually started at the advertised time of 8 instead of anywhere between 8:30-9pm. makes it hard to plan for the evening when one works in the morning....not the fault of censi's....just sayin)

i recently went tocenci'spizza and the food was gross. the owner was a complete ass to me and my extended family. i live an hour away and we had to stop at mcdonalds to get dinner. never again

ch-ch-ch-changes?. have you guys changed your delivery times?
you've always always delivered until 2 am, but occasionally we hear, "sorry we don't deliver past midnight," or, "we only deliver until 2 am on weekends."

frequent flyers are bummed :(

stuck in the middle. im going to write a "mixed" review. i've eaten and drank atcenci'sand i love it. the food is great, the drink selection is immense, and the service is friendly and accommodating.

so with that said...cenci'sreally needs to pick up their delivery game. like.. seriously. maybe they have something against customers who order delivery from them nearly nightly (as we can't leave our overnight jobs to go pick up the food.) one hundred percent of the time our order is wrong. we've had no dressings, wrong dressings, extra items requested on the side not included, items requested to be off something very included, cold

great food and service. every time i come tocenci'sthe food is excellent! my favorite is the steak onion ranch pizza... never had anything like it. they always have good specials at the bar and they are able to be used in the dining room as well. this is also the only restaurant around that offers the entire menu until 2am! i work late so its nice to know i don't have to get fast food or eat junk late at night. i can get a real meal anytime. put this on your "must try" list for sure.

paper thin crust. barely any toppings. expensive..cenci'sis one of the few pizza delivery shops in wexford, so i gave them a shot a couple of months ago when i moved into the area. not good. the crust was so thin it was almost non-existent. my finger went through it when i picked it up. cheese was scarce as well. it was like eating a thin layer of greasy cheese with little bits of steak here and there. prices were pretty high too. i don't mind paying alot for a good pie, but i was so disappointed when i opened the box. i ordered the biggest pizza they had, which was a 20" (i think) and it was so thin i ate the whole pie in one sitting. wasted $20 and haven't gone back.

best alfredo sauce ever!!. i never write reviews for any restaurant however it is necessary to spread the word oncenci'salfredo sauce.
the hubby and i eat out often, everywhere in pittsburgh and surrounding however we live in the north hills.the pasta with alfredo & shrimp is the absolute best in western pa. i guarantee that if you enjoy a wonderful home made alfredo sauce,cenci'sis the place to go :) also had the ceasar salad which was very good and previously had the antipastata salad which was quite good as well. the atmosphere is fun, energetic, and relaxing. the staff is friendly and polite. it's great to have a local restaurant / bar with good food! i'm hoping that the owner will someday consider jarring his alfredo sauce for all to enjoy. thanks cenci's!!

awesome experience. i had the opportunity to visitcenci'sand i have to tell you it was rewarding...the food was fresh and tasted great. i have gone here a few times now and they have made me a few home-made dishes that are out of this world..it was extremely flavorful and kept me wanting more.

i also have had a few of their pizzas delivered and have taken my my grand-kids up to eat. the atmosphere is great early evenings for families, and when you want to have a great later evening it is a fun ad safe atmosphere. it's a very ecclectic crowd of ages 20's-60's.

i think i also need to state the pizzas were great. my wife is more the chicken and vegetable lover and has mentioned numerious times on the freshness and flavor of the food.

the staff is always curteous and the bartenders are great. the owner, bob cenci is the perfect host ,making certain he makes rounds to introduce himself and ask if everything is alright. i have to also mention i made a few business contacts that have had some rewarding returns..

.i never really write on these type of blogs but we recently have had some really wonderful times and i wanted to share my experiences and give a thumbs up to anyone looking for a place to eat healthy, eat good and have a good experience. i always felt it starts at the top down. the owner, with making you feel warm and welcome, the service with taking care of the family( especially little ones) and the fun at the bar with the bartender and people...and the drinks are pretty good too. plus to meet professional business people and make some opportunities happen.

pleasant experience. was incenci'sthis past weekend on saturday. after not having been in there for a while, i was very impressed with the improvement of both the service and the food. ate dinner in the dining room with family and ended up hanging out at the bar afterwards with a friend. waitress always had a smile on her face and was very attentive, never felt like an annoyance. food came out fast and tasted really fresh. the menu has alot to choose from. very rare everyone in my family finds something they like at a restaurant. portion sizes were great leaving us with leftovers for lunch the next day. bar has a ton to choose from and was surprised to see the amount of seasonal beers in stock. staff was just as pleasant at the bar. all in all, i had a great experience atcenci'sand won't let as much time pass between visits again.
oh, and did i mention that i've never been to a restaurant where both the bartenders and waitresses are all exceptionally good looking? just an added bonus- that's one lucky manager

if you drink enough you can eat here. i don't know how people are convinced bag lettuce and frozen chicken breasts are authentic italian and fresh. after reading reviews we ordered a large delivery order for a relatives birthday party and not one thing tasted fresh or good. the white pizza tasted like the lid had fallen off the salt shaker into the pizza, other than the bagged spring mix the salads were fast food quality, the chicken seemed like it was cooked a week ahead of time and microwaved, and even my eighty year old grandmother who is used to dried out food from when everyone worried about trichinosis thought it was dry and bad. the lesson here is get drunk at the bar with the rest of the young kids and you won't know the difference either. in response tocenci'sresponse to me, unless one of the other romas has acenci'ssign and is about 500 yards from patron's this is the right one. in addition i don't want to wonder what is being done with my food if i identify myself so i wont be sending the address or order number. moving on, the chicken seemed like it was microwaved but this could easily be just cheap frozen breaded chicken breasts which tastes as fresh as the frozen zucchini, provolone, poppers, mushrooms, and all the other fast food quality frozen stuff that almost all of the romas have been using for years. lastly, i do love the roma recipes and did love the food before the quality got chiseled for pennies, but it is really lame to try to portray the food as fresh, home cooked italian. the reason for my post is to open your eyes that some people know the difference and that you would be ten times as successful as you already are if the effort would be made to make fresh food instead of cheapening everything a nickel at a time thinking nobody will notice. how hard is it really to make the cooks bread things fresh when they are standing around during the slow times?

bad service. i have been tocenci'sa few times but that past two times i have been there have been the worst. the food is always very well cooked but the service is bad. my server, nickey, messed up my beer orders on numerous occasions and brought me the wrong dressing for my salad. i have felt like an inconvenience when i sit in her section. i would suggest making all of the staff look presentable, because compared to some staff members, some don't look as nice. all in all, i love the food but the service has been bad.

i thinkcenci'spizza is one of the best restaurants i've been to in awhile. the atmosphere is very friendly and i always feel at home whenever i eat there. the waitresses seem to know what they are doing, and the bartenders and are always eager to serve. on top of all the good service, the food is always quickly delivered and tastes good too. i recommendcenci'sto everyone in the area.

the best italian. where can i start...the wedding soup is the closest to my my mothers homemade soup i have ever found - you must try it. all of the italian menu items are authentic, made fresh onsite , portions are huge, price is good, service is great! this place is a must try - you will be back!

the food and the service is so good i had my wedding rehearsal dinner here.cenci'sdid an amazing job - all of my guests were impressed with the food and service!

amazing food!.cenci'shas the most amazing pizza in all of wexford! their breadsticks are fantastic too!
the daily specials are always worth the trip and the bartenders are fast and drinks are served super fast!
overall a great atmosphere and great service!

amazingly delicious. ever since we started going to cenci's, this is our favorite italian restaurant in the area and we love our italian. my favorites are the pizza, subs (esp. chicken parmesean and italian), puffs, cheese fries, all kinds of pastas.

i lovedcenci'sso much that we had them cater our wedding for 160 people in may of 2010. we even had a wedding pizza instead of a wedding cake.

cenci's does a great job: great food, excellent service and a great atmosphere.

i would eat atcenci'sanyday of the week!
