cavalier specialty coffee’s menu always surprises you and always top quality, never disappointed. i’ve already forgotten the name of this dish. this bowl is a mixture of cheese, soy and fish roe which tastes so good and everything is so balanced.foodpresentation leads to a more enjoyable meal too.

went here for brunch late saturday morning, it's a cute little cafe servingfoodyou don't normally expect from a cafe. first up, the positives. i had the oldskool newskool salmon which plated like a fine dining dish and tasted quite fancy for a brunch dish with their beetroot yoghurt and black garlic mayonnaise. with something so pretty, i have nothing to complain about aside possibly wanting more toasts to go with it. unfortunately, there were let downs, the ham benny was way too salty to a point that i can't taste anything but salt, and with that in mind, the price tag on a salty egg benedict that left a bitter after taste does seem steep. having said that, the 2 ladies sitting next to us both had the ham benny and seem to be munching them down ok, so perhaps mine was just an accident. lastly, given the store name had 'coffee' in it, i did expect a good one but the coffee was just average and was served luke warm and with too much foam. to end on a positive note though, customer service was excellent. as i had the salmon dish, i would recommend people to try base on that, but other than that i am not too keen to return any time soon personally.

service was 👌👌👌👌👌
probably one of my top 5 favourite dirty chai’s, they use leaves not powder so i can really taste the spice of the chai 😍
the pork toastie was flavoursome.

tried the burrata and prosciutto with olive oil which wasn’t bad: 4/5
flat white: 5/5
service: 5/5

overall i think thefoodis very overpriced for quantity and quality.

i came here midweek at lunch hour and was surprised to find cavalier wasn't too busy. we ordered the heroes sandwich, tiramisu, and burrata & tomatoes. all were super tasty, although, on the smaller side in terms of portioning. the passionfruit in the tiramisu is such a unique twist! the biggest downside was probably the iced coffee, which was quite watery. the biggest win for me, tying with the goodfoodwas the service; all the staff were super friendly and chatty. will 100% return

came here on saturday and there were not many people
we ordered cappuccino and hot chocolate. the standard cup size is really small. i finished my coffee before thefoodcame. coffee was good anyway.
i came here for the tiramisu since not so many cafes have tiramisu on their brunch menus. i was surprised that there was passion fruit in the tiramisu. i felt it ruined the whole dish. why would anyone put passion fruit in tiramisu?? maybe it’s just me but i really don’t like it.
the tradie roll was disappointing so as the labneh spread with rye. i am sure i won’t come back.

excellent service butfoodwas terrible. we drove all the way from parramatta to st leonard’s because the photos on zomata were great. however when we sat down and looked at their menu we only have limited options as the photos on zomato were ‘special menu’.

it turned out thefoodpotion was ridiculously small and they don’t worth $15+ at all. my partner ordered an ice latte and they told us they have no ice only when they put it on our table. if you don’t have something that is on the menu you should have told the customer when they ordered the food/drinks so that they can order something else.
the ice latte in warm temperature is very weird.

it’s quite disappointing as we drove such a long way and felt like we ate nothing.

we have been fans of the beautifully plated upfoodand silky smooth coffee at cavalier specialty coffee since they first opened up about a year ago and became our favourite local with their cosy scandi-chic decor. while theirfoodmenu isn’t particularly extensive, everything they bring out is impeccably presented – case in point was their entree special, a chewy italian cheese which had been lightly grilled and came out with a delicate wreath of herbs and sweet cherry tomatoes that gave it just enough of a flavour pop to keep things interesting.

i love this little oasis in the middle of a large city for a number of reasons. there is always a welcoming and happy atmosphere, even when they are super busy. the coffee is so much more than what you get at other cafes but they also have the regular stuff, which tastes fresh and delicious. my friends and i have indulged in a delicious wine or two which accompany the dishes very well. thefoodis out this world - creative, fresh and super delicious. the menu changes seasonally so regulars don’t get bored- truffle season is pure delight! i love everything about cavaliers. i have been lucky enough to always find nearby parking. thanks guys, you do a great job!

food was alright and a little overpriced but i guessfoodaround that area are similar price.

me and my friends got tiramisu french toast, macaroni cheese, beef brisket and benny's something which i forgot the name of. all are quite nice and unique.

service was good because they had very friendly staff :)

it got a bit stuffy inside after a while and seating is a little squishy.

overall not bad.

tucked neatly between the suburbs of st leonards and crows nest lays cavalier specialty coffee, a cafe pushing the boundaries of casual breakfast catch ups with their dangerous and outrageously decadent dishes. "yummy mummies" of the north shore please step aside because thisfoodgame just got serious.
