a wonderful cafe in the heart of panjim. lovely coffees to be savored. during the time of lockdown they made my day by delivering the brew to the comfort of my home. kudos to the barista. keep up the great work.

nestled in the picturesque lanes of latin quarter of panjim, known as fontainhas, this cosy caravela cafe & bistro, should be on your list of must-visit places in goa. it is known to serve the best coffee in goa and also offers some delicious savouries and desserts to give a great company to your coffees.

a very small cafe amidst the local goa fontainhas area, a definite try! the owner is absolutely professional and suggests great coffee options if you would like to have good coffee and have not much idea about the different beans you get.
must must try!

very rarely do you find food that redefines standards and caravela was that for me. they just nail getting it just right.

wow! believe me the pictures on zomato doesn’t do justice to the place. extremely cosy, friendly staff and excellent food. it’s extremely inexpensive compared to the other places in goa. cold coffee was so good i drank two of them. the burger was great and the margherita pizza was excellent but it had some amount of veggies in it which i loved but wasn’t expecting in a margherita. it’s a must visit place.

a lovely, tiny place in the old latin quarter (fontainhas) of panjim, which always has a line waiting outside... the wait is totally worth it, for amazing food, great coffee and a lovely vibe.
definitely a must visit!

we went there for breakfast and they have a good variety of options. the place is quite small so it gets crowded a bit n full too fast so be ready for a waiting of atleast 20min. we had egg white omlette and masala omlett both come with bread toast n utter.. quantity is jus enough for 1person. pancakes with nutella n banana were awesome 👌 can go back again only for that and their coffee! its lil overhyped so dont expect extraordinary experience but the food doesn't disappoint.

packaging was not up to the mark... coffee had spilt and soiled up all the sugar sachets...

just refund my money because this ain't fair! caravella is not at fault here, your delivery boy is!

breakfast review : the food is average, the service isn't average and the lady at the counter set new bars for pathetic customer service.
english breakfast was average so was the coffee. the eggs florentine was average too. the goan chorizo pao was insipid with cold stuffing (should be named icy sausage roll). all in all please don't look at reviews and be specific about visiting this place, might as well have similar food with better service at other nearby cafes in fontainhas!!

the caravela café and bistro is a coffee shop run by mr and mrs carlos located in the colourful and picturesque lanes of fontainhas, panjim. they serve artisan coffee better known as latin quarter their in house brand which is roasted in their roastery upstairs, which is available in five different variants . this cosy bistro makes for a good breakfast spot that serves breakfast all day long, with an array of snacks,savouries, desserts, pancakes and more to choose from. so whether you're stopping for your morning coffee, lunch, or an afternoon snack, they have got you covered! with lip smacking delicious dishes.
the cute, traditional quirky décor makes this café insta friendly, while the service promises to win your heart and mr and mrs carlos are great hosts and always there to help and support with their inputs on goa. they have comfortable seating in their cafe with free wifi. washroom was also neat, clean and maintained.

since this is located in one of the small streets of fontainhas parking is an issue and you might have to spend some time in finding a good and safe parking spot. there are nearby paid parking spots but during peak hours they are mostly full.
this is a lesser known cafe, but according to me, a must visit when in goa!!

the food was delicious. their beautiful coffee paired nicely with the meaty lunch we ordered. the staff was engaging and funny and we were glad that they were serving us. the atmosphere, with light music and the aroma of coffee brewing, made me love the place before we even sat down. one of my favourite goa moments.

wow, we had amazing time here. the food was utterly delicious. the vibe of this place was amazing. and the owner is super helpful and welcoming. highly recommended. their desserts are super delicious.
