very authenticgoanhome cafe like atmosphere. we ordered a bombay sandwich, oreo mocha frappe, chicken burger, veg penne white pasta, veg pizza and chocolate mudcake. the oreo mocha frappe is absolutely outstanding in taste and a must have ! same for the bombay sandwich, which was divine. the burger was also very delicious and appetizing. pizza was average and pasta was not to our liking ( a bit bland on flavour). the chocolate mudcake was finger licking good.

breakfast review : the food is average, the service isn't average and the lady at the counter set new bars for pathetic customer service.
english breakfast was average so was the coffee. the eggs florentine was average too. thegoanchorizo pao was insipid with cold stuffing (should be named icy sausage roll). all in all please don't look at reviews and be specific about visiting this place, might as well have similar food with better service at other nearby cafes in fontainhas!!

best food i had in north goa. they have authenticgoanfood for vegetarians too. plus the hosts are amazing and help you out with every possible thing. must try xacuti with poi, carrot cake and all of the snacks. they have the best pois to have with your main course. best food best service.

i had a ross omlette served withgoanpav, hashbrowns, a sumptuous oreo milkshake and then topped it off with a fruit salad with ice-cream.

the owner of the restaurant is extremely friendly. she was really proactive in suggesting places to visit in and around goa, since i'm new to goa. the ambience is really good the food is authentic. the whole experience was very fulfilling. steaming hot food with the taste still fresh on my tongue, and the spontaneous service really makes this cafe a worthwhile visit.

located in the sao tome area of the latin quarters, caravela is the perfect place to start a culinary adventure.
caravela is a cute little bistro which serves lip smacking dishes ranging from all day breakfasts, authenticgoanfood and a variety of coffees.

we had ordered eggs benedict, all day caravela breakfast, vietnamese coffee, nutella pancakes and americano.

eggs benedict is a typical american breakfast or brunch dish, comprising of two parts of an english muffin, each finished off with canadian bacon, a poached egg, and hollandaise sauce.
a better contort to conventional eggs benedict, caravela's rendition had a mix of english muffins layered with ham, poached eggs and smooth hollandaise sauce presented with cooked spinach & tomatoes.

vietnamese iced coffee, also known as cà phê đá or cafe da is a traditional vietnamese coffee recipe. at its simplest, cà phê đá is made using medium to coarse ground dark roast vietnamese-grown coffee with a small metal vietnamese drip filter
strong and flavourful vietnamese coffee makes converts as quickly as it raises pulses. french colonists might have introduced coffee to vietnam, but the morning cup of ca phe soon became a local habit.
the preparation process, as well as the blend of beans, helps give vietnamese coffee its particular style.

one of my favourite dishes from the menu, the all day breakfast comprises of sausages, hams, scrambled eggs, baked beans, hash browns & mushrooms, served alongside with few slices of home baked bread.

perfect place for the people who crave for italian, andgoancuisine. ambiance over here is cool. ample of seating area. relaxed atmosphere. interior is designed perfectly. menu is elaborate. i ordered a margarita pizza, a seafood pasta and a cheese cake from here. it was amazing, tasty and flavourful and of good quality as well as quantity. staff and the service was great. food was served on time and in a proper manner. its a pocket friendly place and a perfect place to chill with our family and friends. i would love to visit this place again.

located in panjim, caravel cafe server some great breakfast and lunch. it's a cafe run by a lady, who takes care of the place in the best way.

we ordered a chocolate tart, omelete, rice with somegoancurry. the food was amazing.

everything was up to the point. a must visit place in panjim.

from salads, pizzas, burgers, cutlets and sandwiches to some mouth wateringgoandelicacies, their menu is great and you will be spoilt for choices.

the all day premium breakfast
and of course their coffees are to die for.

this is one place you should never miss visiting.

caravela @caravelacafegoa is now one of my favourite cafe in goa. infact my family loved it so much that we visited twice. it was far from our hotel, yet we travelled all the way to have scrumptious food offered by them. best part about small cafe is they offer extremely fresh food. every dish we had tasted fresh and delicious. we tried mango shake, hot chocolate,goanspecial xacuti chicken, samosa, coffee, rolls, etc. we liked each and every dish. pricing is very reasonable compared to quantity and quality of food. ambience is nicely done and hasgoanvibes to it. service was a little disappointment. owner rushed us to order quickly and finish our dinner as 8pm was their closing time, which i felt was a little inappropriate for hospitality industry. can improve on service part.

finding good vegetarian food could seem like a task to some in goa, but i came across this lovely cafe situated in panjim that serves excellent snack options for vegetarians too. from burgers to pizzas, cutlets, sandwiches and more, they have some great options. they even have some delicious cakes and desserts to enjoy.


i loved their veg burger and bombay sandwich and coffee at this place is a must have. serradura, a localgoandessert is also a must try.

situated in one of the most scenic and iconic parts of goa, the fontainhas in panjim, caravela cafe is a must visit for some lip smacking food and the best coffee in town. while they have authenticgoanfood and all day breakfast too, the coffee, croissants and rissois are something you should not miss. 
the cheese rissois are a melt in the mouth experience that one should definitely try.

they have a wise variety of snacks from pizza, sandwiches, to burgers and mind blowing cakes and desserts too and have ample options for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians.

absolutely worth the visit and value for money 

great place for morning breakfast in the center of the goa. we tried this place after going through zomato reviews and the place is worth a visit. we tried ras omelette, beef burger, smoke chicken pizza. i would rate 3.5 for the later two but 5 for ras omelette for the authenticgoantaste.

pastries are simply amazing. we tried multiple places while in goa for pastries nothing can match the taste we experienced at caravela. on our remaining days we took take aways and even ordered through swiggy, they deliver in candolim.

uncle on the counter is very friendly and would suggest good restaurant options if you are looking to exploregoandelicacies.

caravela cafe and bistro is one of those cafes you walk in to… and immediately know that you’ll return to very soon! with a large selection of cakes and coffees, you could easily spend an afternoon in here, catching up with friends or replying to all those emails you’ve been letting build up.

@caravelacafegoa is located in the very middle of panjim city , not far from the casinos and hard to miss. the city of panjim itself is a quirky mix of ancient meets modern, old meets new.
this relaxed corner café is quintessentiallygoan- the streets, vibe and specially the food.
i went there recently for lunch and tried few of their delicacies, though i went there for lunch i feel it's a perfect place for breakfasts, late lunch or evening coffee and if you happen to visit this place for coffee, don't forget to try out their in-house coffee brew.
they roast their own coffee beans and source green coffee beans specially from coorg.
