i thoroughly enjoy this place. it is such an amazing environment. when you first walk up the building you can easily tell that it is oddly unique, something about the design of the building and the huge front door pulls you in. the very first thing i noticed inside the building was the very relaxed almost cafe like atmosphere. the architecture of the building is very intriguing and almost captivates any young hipster. the food choices are impeccable and the mocktails are phenomenal. out of food choices i highly recommend that people order the trio fries because you can never go wrong with sweet potato fries, bbq fries, and garlic fries. now if you like light things but still want it to be fulfilling then definitely go with the cobb salad. the first bite of it will have you dreaming about it a week from the day you bite it. i would highly suggest this place for anyone that is in the area and looking for some good food or a couple ofnicedrinks. also, check out the bathrooms you might get surprised with the mirror. ;) goodvibes.

vcery disappointed. we had a reservation and the table was not ready. we waited for quite a while. the manager (i think) argued with the hostess for almost 7 minutes about scheduling issues before even acknowledging we were standing in the lobby. the food was lack luster and the menu had way more alcoholic selections than actual food. the patio wasniceand we enjoyed watching people walk by. we won't be back.

birthday lunch...ruined by the small stuff. after hearing of cafeteria 15l, i anxiously waited to go for my birthday with my work staff. the food sounded good and something new to the area sounded great. i was looking for my new favorite place. to my dismay, it did not live up to the expectations. since we were on our lunch and had 5 people, as a courtesy, we called ahead and were told there isn't a wait and there was a table available for our party, but we couldn't reserve it for the birthday lunch. we arrived excited to the new experience and were told it was a 25 minute wait. all while a table for five was open and ready to be seated (but saved for someone else). after standing around talking, we were pushed to the cool, hip, lounge area to relax and wait. a co-worker eventually went and asked if we could be waited on at the bar area tables since we were on our lunch break, they said it would only be about 5 more minutes and suggested we just wait. another 10 minutes went by, still no table for us. however, others waiting were even offered the same table we asked to be waited at. they were even served food in the lounge area and received their food before we even were seated. aniceperson came and asked every single person that all got there after us if they wanted water while we waiting. all of them got water before we asked for some. finally after 45 minutes during lunch and after speaking to anicelady that looked like a manger, we were apologetically seated (innicecomfortable white seats).

even after we were seated the service took forever and my co-workers told me i had to close my menu and set it down for the waiter to see we were ready to order. that isn't the way customer service works, is it?

warning: the iced tea is tropical? i wished the menu or waiter warned me!

our appetizers were good (unique tater tots and spinach and artichoke dip).

our group wasn't too impressed with the food as a whole; it didn't have that wow factor that people are looking for in the current market. i went with the trout sandwich and didn't finish it. after finding bones in the trout, i couldn't stomach finishing it. maybe the fact that it was sort of ground up fish was part of it as well. i was expecting a whole fish fillet on bread. also, you should buy your bread from the bread store on j, it is much better than the bread on the trout sandwich.

sadly to say, i didn't find my new favorite restaurant: a place to recommend to friends or rave about online. i always give places a second chance to impress, but it will never be at lunch. in today's market, customers are looking for a wow factor in products and good customer service. i smiling host when a person walks in the door would help. customer service is about showing customers they are there to serve you and assist in making the customer happy. i didn't see this at cafeteria 15l. the small things count. but the décor was nice

first visit. first time visit but i had to try the tater tots i'd heard so much about...they were delicious! i started with a wedge salad that actually had anicetang with pickled red onions on top. my main course was the prime rib french dip with au jus and horesradish sauce....it was awesome except for the somewhat soggy bread which seems like it could be fixed with something a little more sturdy. staff was attentive and helpful. great first visit.
