cafe fresca

we heard about cafe fresca on dave groves morning show and visisted it on saturday. the place was packed +++ but the staff did an excelent job informing us of waiting times and gave us the opportunity to wait. we decided to go but came back today (sunday) and they had more staff on and the service, food and atmosphere wasgreat;-)
i liked the little gift shop and garden area. well done andgreatrecovery from saturday.

lovely atmosphere, food and staff. staff were very polite and kind, food was lovely and well worth the price, and the atmosphere wasgreatwith such a nice setup of the cafe with the beautiful garden. highly recommend.

went for sunday lunch. nice place to sit as long as the wind is not blowing too much. i had a mini breakfast which came out pretty quickly. it was made up of the usual eggs, bacon, toast, kransky, potato. very yummy and met the spot. coffee was well made hats off to the barrisata. service wasgreatfriendly staff. one good point with fresca is that it has pleny of parking and its close to town. well worth a visit.

my sisters 21st was held at cafe fresca on friday night and family and friends who attended can't say enough about the place.
stu and the team were so friendly and helpful. the food was delicious and plentiful. the venue was warm and cosy(on a cold wintery evening). they had everything we needed for an easy setup of decorations, cake and present tables, linen, music and a big tv for our slideshow.
would highly recommend cafe fresca for a private function.

my husband and i are frequent visitors of cafe fresca. last week it was my husband's birthday and i decided to treat him at fresca knowing that the food has always been up to standard and the staff are extremely polite, unfortunately on this recent visit my husband made a comment on one of the staffs tattoos, the staff member then proceeded to show my husband all of her tattoos and i felt extremely uncomfortable as i felt as if she was flirting. she then proceeded to show him photos on her phone. i understand that she has her own style and i totally respect that, but whilst i'm trying to enjoy my time at fresca i would have appreciated it if my coffee was made instead of the barista talking to my husband. apart from that it's a brilliant cafe andgreatparking.

a big thank you for a wonderful night. we had over 70 people for a surprise 50th birthday,greatnight had by all. thank you stu for allowing us to have our party at your beautiful venue and special thanks to staff who made the night that extra bit hassle free - nothing was a problem. thanking you again and will be back soon. caroline and dennis

one of my favourite places and very handy to the hospital. ample parking. food isgreatno matter whether its a panini, pasta or whatever. you can chat and linger over a cup of coffee or a wine without being hassled to hurry up. stu is agreathost spending time to mix with the customers seeing everything is satisfactory. nice one stu!

cafe fresca on monday was great. it was my dad's 70th and we meet at cafe fresca arriving from auckland and mystery creek. a booking for 10 people.
the service from the staff was outstanding, they were accommodating, smiley and professional.
the cake i ordered was perfect. the brunch was lovely. not a single complaint. one staff member even came and took group photos for us.

really nice food, friendly staff and agreatlocation in the middle of the garden centre. always busy so can sometimes take a while to get food or coffees but is worth the wait. prices are a little on the high end but the food is also very good. andgreatcoffee too :)

great food,greatstaff always the best quality. the menu doesn't change often but the quality of the dishes they serve is always excellent, fresh ingredients and full of flavour. their smoothies are just delicious. not only that but the staff are always friendly, kind and the service is prompt. we like it so much we're booking our wedding reception there!

i just what to say that my experience at cafe fresca was a+++ and the staff so freindly. i had lunch with a friend whom also hadn't heard of the place and she also thought it wasgreatwith heaps of room andgreatoutlook. good old fashion service and the best value for money around. coffee was hot and the guy even gave me a coffee card :-)

i was saddened by our experience at fresca cafe, i would like to start first by saying the food wasgreatcan not complain, tasty and affordably priced, andgreatvalue for money, however it was my mothers 65th birthday and had booked a few weeks prior. we had a group of 16 and upon arriving were seated seperately, i requested that the tables be joined and received the reply sorry we cannot do that as no enough room. we then pushed the table together forming a square and sat around the outside, we were addressed and advised ooh thats a good idea this actually took up less space than how they were originally.

secondly the menu advised that they sold waikato draught and lion red beers - we ordered to be advised that they ran out on friday night remembering this was now sunday - i feel there is no excuse as we now have 24 hour super markets let alone the fact that this was 48 hours later.

we proceed to order lunch to only be told that all the mushrooms were out of stock and they ran out of steak sandwhiches which was the only steak choice on the menu. in addition to us being there, there was three other major groups so you would think this sort of thing would have been organised prior.

also you had to que to order anything so if you wished to have a follow up drink you ended up queing for 15 min while everyone else was sitting back at the tabe enjoying themselves - this was a very special occasion and would have it been difficult to have a waitress to at least take drink orders as i am sure other people were annoyed with this. whilst queing at least three small groups came thru to just have a coffee and seeing the line up just said bugger this and left.

i also run my own business and deal with many people - i find it very easy to accomodate where i can and make each experience personal and special to them regardless of why they are there.
unfortunagely, all the guest at my table commented and said they would not group book there again.

i would like to finish by saying that the staff were very polite and cheerful and again the food wasgreatwhich is surprising considering the pressure they have to work under.

i hope you look at the comments made and do not take them personally, but review some of your stuctures so that your business can go forward and thrive.
it is not hard to just go the extra mile and make your customers your raving fans as at the end of the day it is usually word of mouth that can make a business.
