we held our engagement party atfrescaand couldnt recommend it more. communication in organising it was always prompt and polite. the atmosphere was perfect andfrescaset everything up beautifully for us including providing glassware, ice etc. the staff were great, very helpful and courteous, and always asking what more they could do. the food was fantastic value for money, and absolutely delicious. overall we couldn't have asked for a better night, and all our guests commented that they would definitely be returning again.

we heard about cafefrescaon dave groves morning show and visisted it on saturday. the place was packed +++ but the staff did an excelent job informing us of waiting times and gave us the opportunity to wait. we decided to go but came back today (sunday) and they had more staff on and the service, food and atmosphere was great ;-)
i liked the little gift shop and garden area. well done and great recovery from saturday.

went for sunday lunch. nice place to sit as long as the wind is not blowing too much. i had a mini breakfast which came out pretty quickly. it was made up of the usual eggs, bacon, toast, kransky, potato. very yummy and met the spot. coffee was well made hats off to the barrisata. service was great friendly staff. one good point withfrescais that it has pleny of parking and its close to town. well worth a visit.

awesome place to dine.have been tofrescamany times. staff are always friendly and accomodating the food and coffee is great. 5++ for certain

my sisters 21st was held at cafefrescaon friday night and family and friends who attended can't say enough about the place.
stu and the team were so friendly and helpful. the food was delicious and plentiful. the venue was warm and cosy(on a cold wintery evening). they had everything we needed for an easy setup of decorations, cake and present tables, linen, music and a big tv for our slideshow.
would highly recommend cafefrescafor a private function.

went as part of a large group for a birthday lunch, food was nice orzo salad was amazing! service was good wait staff polite and happy, setting lovely heaps of plants and art work, would recommend caféfrescafor a group event

my husband and i are frequent visitors of cafe fresca. last week it was my husband's birthday and i decided to treat him atfrescaknowing that the food has always been up to standard and the staff are extremely polite, unfortunately on this recent visit my husband made a comment on one of the staffs tattoos, the staff member then proceeded to show my husband all of her tattoos and i felt extremely uncomfortable as i felt as if she was flirting. she then proceeded to show him photos on her phone. i understand that she has her own style and i totally respect that, but whilst i'm trying to enjoy my time atfrescai would have appreciated it if my coffee was made instead of the barista talking to my husband. apart from that it's a brilliant cafe and great parking.

meet up for a quick lunch date with a friend who worked over the road at gallagher. was very impressed by cafefresca:)

nice sitting amongst the garden centre in the sun.

staff were super friendly -- thought it was a nice gesture giving extra stamps on my friends coffee card (appreciating the local businesses around them i suppose?).

can definitely say their salmon salad is a good choice on the menu - plenty of yummy salmon & it works well.

coffee was nice & big - and good!

cafefrescaon monday was great. it was my dad's 70th and we meet at cafefrescaarriving from auckland and mystery creek. a booking for 10 people.
the service from the staff was outstanding, they were accommodating, smiley and professional.
the cake i ordered was perfect. the brunch was lovely. not a single complaint. one staff member even came and took group photos for us.
beautiful setting, fantastic staff, great food.
go if you get the opportunity! well done stu and team.

our group was made up of six adults and one 5yr old girl.
i selected cafefrescafrom the information given on the website .
the spacious restaurant with play area and adjoining garden centre proved to be excellent for our needs.
there was a good selection of food on the menu.
the speed of service was good for a busy sunday lunchtime.

today, being st patrick's day,at cafefrescawe had the most divine guinness beef pies we have ever eaten. we hope they become a permanent feature on the menu and are not just a st patrick's day temptation. the vegetarian in our party was very pleased with the courgette fritters (with salad) though perhaps 3 fritters rather than two would be good. overall, a happy experience - good coffee.

we visit cafefrescaon a regular basis and have always found stu and his team most welcoming and happy. the coffee is great too. sue & john

i just what to say that my experience at cafefrescawas a+++ and the staff so freindly. i had lunch with a friend whom also hadn't heard of the place and she also thought it was great with heaps of room and great outlook. good old fashion service and the best value for money around. coffee was hot and the guy even gave me a coffee card :-)

i was saddened by our experience atfrescacafe, i would like to start first by saying the food was great can not complain, tasty and affordably priced, and great value for money, however it was my mothers 65th birthday and had booked a few weeks prior. we had a group of 16 and upon arriving were seated seperately, i requested that the tables be joined and received the reply sorry we cannot do that as no enough room. we then pushed the table together forming a square and sat around the outside, we were addressed and advised ooh thats a good idea this actually took up less space than how they were originally.

secondly the menu advised that they sold waikato draught and lion red beers - we ordered to be advised that they ran out on friday night remembering this was now sunday - i feel there is no excuse as we now have 24 hour super markets let alone the fact that this was 48 hours later.

we proceed to order lunch to only be told that all the mushrooms were out of stock and they ran out of steak sandwhiches which was the only steak choice on the menu. in addition to us being there, there was three other major groups so you would think this sort of thing would have been organised prior.

also you had to que to order anything so if you wished to have a follow up drink you ended up queing for 15 min while everyone else was sitting back at the tabe enjoying themselves - this was a very special occasion and would have it been difficult to have a waitress to at least take drink orders as i am sure other people were annoyed with this. whilst queing at least three small groups came thru to just have a coffee and seeing the line up just said bugger this and left.

i also run my own business and deal with many people - i find it very easy to accomodate where i can and make each experience personal and special to them regardless of why they are there.
unfortunagely, all the guest at my table commented and said they would not group book there again.

i would like to finish by saying that the staff were very polite and cheerful and again the food was great which is surprising considering the pressure they have to work under.

i hope you look at the comments made and do not take them personally, but review some of your stuctures so that your business can go forward and thrive.
it is not hard to just go the extra mile and make your customers your raving fans as at the end of the day it is usually word of mouth that can make a business.
