went for lunch today, ordered a cooked breakfast with potatoes, sausage, mushroom, poached eggs, etc lacked flair in presentation but perfect for a winters day. the coffee was not up to their usual high standard, it was a little weak today. very busy but staff coped well and served us with a smile. nice place to sit and enjoy the setting.

went as part of a large group for a birthday lunch, food was nice orzo salad was amazing! service was good wait staff polite and happy, setting lovely heaps of plants and art work, would recommend café fresca for a group event

my husband and i are frequent visitors of cafe fresca. last week it was my husband's birthday and i decided to treat him at fresca knowing that the food has always been up to standard and the staff are extremely polite, unfortunately on this recent visit my husband made a comment on one of the staffs tattoos, the staff member then proceeded to show my husband all of her tattoos and i felt extremely uncomfortable as i felt as if she was flirting. she then proceeded to show him photos on her phone. i understand that she has her own style and i totally respect that, but whilst i'm trying to enjoy my time at fresca i would have appreciated it if my coffee was made instead of the barista talking to my husband. apart from that it's a brilliant cafe and great parking.

a big thank you for a wonderful night. we had over 70 people for a surprise 50th birthday, great night had by all. thank you stu for allowing us to have our party at your beautiful venue and special thanks to staff who made the night that extra bit hassle free - nothing was a problem. thanking you again and will be back soon. caroline and dennis

had the raspberry white choc muffin which was the best i've ever had! coffee was really good too. loved the setting of the cafe amidst the garden and flowers.

one of my favourite places and very handy to the hospital. ample parking. food is great no matter whether its a panini, pasta or whatever. you can chat and linger over a cup of coffee or a wine without being hassled to hurry up. stu is a great host spending time to mix with the customers seeing everything is satisfactory. nice one stu!

meet up for a quick lunch date with a friend who worked over the road at gallagher. was very impressed by cafe fresca :)

nice sitting amongst the garden centre in the sun.

staff were super friendly -- thought it was a nice gesture giving extra stamps on my friends coffee card (appreciating the local businesses around them i suppose?).

can definitely say their salmon salad is a good choice on the menu - plenty of yummy salmon & it works well.

coffee was nice & big - and good!

i will be back soon i hope!!

cafe fresca on monday was great. it was my dad's 70th and we meet at cafe fresca arriving from auckland and mystery creek. a booking for 10 people.
the service from the staff was outstanding, they were accommodating, smiley and professional.
the cake i ordered was perfect. the brunch was lovely. not a single complaint. one staff member even came and took group photos for us.
beautiful setting, fantastic staff, great food.
go if you get the opportunity! well done stu and team.

didn't actually get to check out the place. despite the website stating that they seat 60 people he would not take a booking for 30 people, was very disappointed and caused me considerable stress trying to find somewhere at short notice when the booking was cancelled and trying to contact everyone to let them know. overall found them difficult to deal with, however i would still like to dine there at some stage

best coffee!! always a consistent brew. great kiddies area and lovely outside dining. great for gardeners, have a walk around the garden centre while there. always has great food with a nice variety and great service too!!

really nice food, friendly staff and a great location in the middle of the garden centre. always busy so can sometimes take a while to get food or coffees but is worth the wait. prices are a little on the high end but the food is also very good. and great coffee too :)

great food, great staff always the best quality. the menu doesn't change often but the quality of the dishes they serve is always excellent, fresh ingredients and full of flavour. their smoothies are just delicious. not only that but the staff are always friendly, kind and the service is prompt. we like it so much we're booking our wedding reception there!

our group was made up of six adults and one 5yr old girl.
i selected cafe fresca from the information given on the website .
the spacious restaurant with play area and adjoining garden centre proved to be excellent for our needs.
there was a good selection of food on the menu.
the speed of service was good for a busy sunday lunchtime.

we had a mid year christmas party at cafe fresca
the food was great, the ambiance great, staff fantastic and cost within our budget.

you might think this rating is over exaggerated, but i assure you i dine out a lot, and this place consistently tries to deliver on all fronts (price, quality and service).
they don't always deliver on everything, but they admit their failures when they do and remedy the issue asap.
the staff are friendly, fast and efficient.
one of the only cafes in town that has tonnes of parking, and all for free.
be careful at lunch time on saturdays as it gets filled up fast (pays to get there before 12pm or after 1pm as this is their peek time) you can book a table as long as its not last minute.
one of the best kept cafe secrets of hamilton in my book.
